You can mark if you want multiple orders of the same thing. Each order you put through is organized by rounds marked as "R1, R2, R3". I actually really love the portions they give here, they are sized that with 4 people -- you can actually order a lot of different things. With that, I probably wouldn't go here with less than 4 people. I've come here once with just one other person and we ordered wayyy too much. They have a little buffett + sauce situation. For kids the price is based on the height, so that's a downer because I could have a big kid who doesn't eat a lot. Plus my daughter too didn't eat much. Other than that, the soup was so good! Chinese herb broth is a good choice, some may not like it because it's a little on the medicinal side. The meats are good, thin sliced for easy cooking. Veggies are fresh and good variety of mushrooms. The buffet is only a good deal if you got the appetite, would suggest their weekday lunch specials around $20. We went on a Saturday and got the all you can eat dinner and weekend set for $38.99. They do individual broth pots or a half and half large pot. We both got our own individual pots with herbal marrow broth. They have seven broths to choose from. The herbal broth is good for your health and was tasty. By the time we left, we were both so full. We sampled an assortment of meats, seafood and veggies. Everything was fresh. Of course the seafood was my fave. I ordered seconds of the shrimp, clams and mussels. They have side dishes by the sauces that you can eat. I saw mango mousse, pineapple, orange, kim chee and chicken feet to name a few. The best items to get here are the shrimp chips and the mini jin duis. The jin duis are filled with red bean and. are so good when they're hot. We both selected Herbal Broth , then checked off items on the clipboard: clams, tofu, shrimp, corn, watercress, quail eggs, napa cabbage, beef, bean curd, taro, broccoli, mussels, etc. Everything was delicious! While our server retrieved our order, we went to the appetizer, dipping sauces, toppings, and condiments bar. The fresh pineapple, orange wedges, and shrimp chips were fun to eat! Staff are trained well as they are cordial and repeated checked up on us throughout our stay. My friend has been here previously so I took her lead and she recommended me her favorites. She's also Chinese and foodie so I followed her suggestions. By pure coincidence we both selected the spicy bone marrow broth and got an assortment of meats, seafood and a whole bunch of vegetables with some noodles. After we helped ourselves to the condiments bar and appetizers, our personalized broths, plates of meats, seafood and vegetables were soon delivered to our booth. It was time to cook and dig in. The location is in the same exact place where Little Sheep used to be in the second level of Ward Center, across from TJ Maxx and Nordstrom Rack. There's plenty of parking. The dining area is the same. The menu looks the same and seems to offer the same things as well. The sauce station is the same. The only difference is the tables are equipped with individual burners with only a few tables with the big burner in the middle for the one big hot pot. I might even take a guess the owner is the same person who previously opened Little Sheep, but decided to close, and reopen without paying the franchise fee (smart!). The ordering style is the same! All you can eat. $38.99 for dinner and weekends, $33.99 for lunch, $21.99 for children...between 40-50"... which is what, 4-7 years old? You only have 3 rounds of ordering, 90 minute time limit, leftovers cannot be taken (and will be charged 10/lb if you don't finish a majority). I ordered the Spicy Marrow, which was barely spicy with no numbness, but it was good. Tasty and flavorful. There was a numb flavor broth, but I didn't know whether that was spicy or not. I don't want solely numbing broth. Why can't it be both? Chongqing La! I must say that everything was good. The raw sliced meats were fresh and sliced razor thin. Everything was tender, and nothing was overly fat. The beef tripe was cut into nice pieces that were just tender with a nice crunch. Definitely one of the favorites. Beef stomach was good. For dinner around 6:30 pm on a Sunday, the wait to be seated was an hour, but we expected that. Once we were seated, we ordered our broths and drinks. 10/10 Recommend! I've been here on two occasions and both times did not disappoint! Located on the 3rd level of Ward Village, there are ample of parking with the 3rd level parking being the best bet as the restaurant is literally adjacent to it. Once you enter the restaurant, there is a large waiting area with seating to wait for your table to be ready and I felt like there so much room to accommodate a lot of hungry customers of different party sizes. On the first occasion, we did not have reservations made, but only with a 5 minute wait, we were already being seated. It wasn't busy on this occasion, but there were already a lot of diners enjoying their meals so it was a plus that we didn't have to wait that long for a table for a party of two and a toddler. On my second occasion, we did make reservation a few days in advance for a party of 5 and once we arrived at the restaurant, we were seated right away, even when two of our party were running late. Each occasion we were met with a friendly staff who brought us to our table. The ordering process was fairly easy. When you're seated there's a menu on the table where you're able to choose the amount of servings of different kinds of meats, seafood, fish cakes vegetables and other items they offer. It was a little confusing on my first occasion there as we didn't know how much to put for two people on our first round so we ended up just putting 4 servings for each items we wanted. To our surprise, that was actually a lot of food for two! On the menu, you have three rounds to order on the menu and we ended up not even touching round two because we were already so full. It was quite similar for my second occasion as well. We had a party of 5 and we thought putting 8 servings of each item was enough, but we found it to be an excessive amount of food. Of course we ate it all though cause wasting food is bad and we didn't want to get charged extra for wasting. I'm unsure if they have such a policy, as I didn't see any signs or notices indicating an extra charge for leftover uncooked food, but I could've missed it. Additionally, I felt that all the meat and seafood served was exceptionally fresh. Each item came out plated neatly and looks like they got their system down when it comes to preparation. They did have an appetizer/salad bar in the back area of the restaurant where they served different kind of sauces and appetizer like chicken feet, shrimp chips and kimchee to name a few. This hotpot place is located in Ward Villages, in the old Little Sheep spot... if you're still not familiar it's above the Genki Sushi, next to the IBM building, across the street from Nordstrom Rack, on the side where the old Brew Moon was. Located in the former Little Sheep, this place offers all you can eat hot pot. You have the option to either get individual pot or get a big one to share with your party. I usually opt for the individual with their original broth which packs a good amount of flavor. The ordering concept is simple, they place a clipboard of their listed food to add into your hot pot, including the meats. There are three rounds total. Each round you and your party write down how many orders of food items you want. Each order is usually tailored per individual serving. Each food item are super fresh including the meat. One thing I noticed was that each visit may have have different items listed. Once you ordered your soup base and submitted your first round of food, you can head over to the sauce bar at the far end of the restaurant. There are two ends of the bar where you can create a concoction of your own sauce. In the middle of the bar, there are desserts (which you can eat first, I don't judge), appetizers like spring rolls and prawn chips, Kim Chee and ocean salad. Service maybe a hit or miss. The first few times we were there, they were very attentive to our table asking how the food was and if we needed anything else. However, the most recent visit felt like the service wasn't as great as they didn't really check up on us and provided water with things floating in it. We did a walk-in party of 4 at Saturday 7pm and as huge as a place this was, tables turned quick and we waited about only half an hour which is not bad. They have a lot of good choices of broth, meat, seafood, noodles and vegetables that other hot pot places don't serve. They have a mini bar for sauces, side dishes, fruits, and peanuts. This was a great location with free parking. Look for them on the 2nd floor. Great for lunch not busy and easily can fit a big group. I believe I went around 6/7pm and it wasn't that busy so it was very fast and easy to get seated. I really liked how they have a big selection on ingredients as it is kind of rare to find. I ordered the spicy broth which was very spicy ngl. Me and my friend were kinda suffering . I'm someone who likes spice but next time i'll get mild or another flavor lol. It's back!!! But under a new name (again!) I was so excited when I saw Chong Qing open up at the old Little Sheep location (turned Happy Lamb) in Ward Village! My family used to love going there for their AYCE family-style hot pot and we were so sad when it closed down a few years ago. Chong Qing's menu is slightly different from Little Sheep's, but still just as extensive. Here were our favorites from the AYCE menu: Original Marrow Broth & Chinese Herbal Broth Beef Short Plate & Supreme Lamb Shoulder & Tripe unfortunately none of the seafood was that great Watercress & Choy Sum Wood Ear Mushroom Fresh Thick Noodle They also have a mini sauce bar with all the essential hot pot sauces. The bulk of their bar is shared between appetizers and desserts. I especially love their fresh fruit and deep fried buns with condensed milk.
