Good corporate slop with lots of food and worth the price. I wish they added more sauce to my bowl but this was delicious and felt very healthy. I pre ordered and it was perfect and easy picking it up.

I personally had a great experience at Chopt @ the Moynihan location. I ordered my go-to which will always be the chicken tinga bowl & got my food in a prompt manner. I forgot the managers name but he's really nice as well.

Not bad for a quick bite! The food was good, service was quick, and the ambiance well it was convenient. It was at the Amtrak train station.

Good spot to grab a quick salad or wrap. Service was somewhat efficient, but staff could be a bit more detailed oriented. No one was offered bread that I saw order a salad, even though that is supposed to be part of their standard offering. Reading through other reviews, that seems to unfortunately be a theme... This spot is more of a grab and go, but there is open seating nearby.

Filling, delicious, and healthy! Always love Cobb salad and happy to use my birthday reward.

I would say they need to pay more attention to detail. When making the salad they were busy looking every which way. They also forgot to add the bread to my order and only when leaving I asked for it because I saw someone else getting the bread. That is supposed to be part of the lunch. My salad was pretty good, I wouldn't say great. Perhaps if the workers smiled and said hello, it would be a better experience.

The food court at Moynihan Train Hall is surprisingly great. I was planning on eating horrible (for me) food for the rest of the day though, and so I needed a salad in my life. Chopt was here for me. After entirely too much deliberation (the staff was very patient, and quite efficient), I rolled with the Chicken Tinga Bowl. It's well balanced with the braised chicken, avocado, black beans, kale, cotija, and the cornerstone of every healthy salad, tortilla chips. I got extra avocado and extra chicken, and it was almost too much food. I could've used a little hot sauce, but no complaints overall. It was a solid meal, and a healthier option than most of the nearby stands. There are also plenty of tables to sit at in the high-ceilinged dining hall, and wi-fi to play around on if you're dining alone. I'm sure I'll be back someday soon.

For full disclosure, I am typically a Just Salad guy but in an all out frenzy to make my train to Philly, I thought Chopt would be the ideal quick option that still allows me to stay on the path to a Rockstar skinny frame. Other than the guy giving me some attitude when taking my order, I now hold Chopt in the highest regard of fast casual healthy food. The attitude came when I asked for no cheese on my salad and got no confirmation, so I did my best to double check without sounding like a mf Karen, and he said "I HEARD you." Like damn bro lmao. But I mean it could have been a bad day and working at the train station Chopt can't be the easiest job. To my surprise they had me in and out of that line in under 5 minutes. After the sweet cashier handed me my Blissful Harvest bowl, I was oddly reminiscent of a prime Devin Hester having just fielded a punt at the 20 yard line and turned on the JETS through Moynihan Hall to track 6. I ended up making the train with like 8 minutes to spare so I really didn't need to do allat, but no pressure no diamond you feel me? I sat down in the last car of the Amtrak train, and cracked open my Blissful Harvest bowl made up of kale, chicken, sweet potatoes, rice, and apples dressed with a white balsamic vinegar dressing and dug in. It was honestly fantastic, tasting about as fresh as you can get for one of these fast casual salad chains. I was shocked how good it was. As the car began to move, the hero reared his head to look out the window in anticipation for the weekend ahead... Him and his Blissful Harvest Bowl vs the world... IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__

Located in the food court in Moynihan train hall, it is one of the healthier options here. I tried the Tahini Caesar Special salad - it was not bad and was filling but not sure it was worth the price. Service was quick though. During typical meal times, seating can be hard to find even though there are a lot of tables in the food court area (with outlets for charging!)

I like using the app to order but I do feel like they give fewer toppings when I'm not looking at them.

Chopt CAN BE among the healthier options at Penn Station's Moynihan Hall. Just choose wisely and you'll get a fresh, guilt-free, filling meal. And definitely use the app to order. You won't have to wait in line, and you'll earn free food every once in a while.

First of all, the new Moynihan food court is unreal??? I've been taking Amtrak reliably for 6 months and holy crap, it seems like this sprung up overnight. A lot of places were closed when I went (strange for 6pm?) but nonetheless I found myself at Chopt ordering a Mexicali Caesar as my best option in the train station. Overall I'm not a huge Chopt fan and like sweetgreen and Just Salad a lot more but thought whatever, I just need a cheap and fast dinner to take on the train. Salad was good! Best I've ever had? Of course not. But for a quick stop before a train I'd def return. Employees were nice as well.

    Emily S.

there was a long line during the lunch rush but decided to try it out given it being a popular choice for many. the line moved pretty quick and the service was good and efficient. the vinaigrette dressing on the strawberry summer salad was a bit pungent towards the end but it was a decent salad nonetheless. if you're looking for a quick, healthy, and filling meal, this is the place!

A Hidden Gem That Completely Changed My Perspective on Vegan Food…read more Yesterday was my first visit to Le Botaniste, and I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. The storefront and fresh drinks first caught my attention, so I thought it was mostly a juice or beverage spot. The moment I walked inside, I realized it was so much more. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, and everything looked incredibly fresh. You can immediately tell they take pride in the quality of their food. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional customer service from Alan. He welcomed us with a smile, took the time to explain the menu, answered all of our questions, and gave us recommendations based on what we were looking for. His knowledge and enthusiasm made choosing our meals easy. Alan recommended their most popular bowl, the Pasta Bolognese, and mentioned it was also his personal favorite. After just one bite, I understood why. It was rich, hearty, full of flavor, and if no one had told me it was vegan, I never would have guessed. It has officially become one of my favorite plant-based meals. For my mother, Alan recommended the seasonal Mediterranean Bowl, and it was another excellent choice. I asked her if she enjoyed it, and her response was simple: "Yes... and I want more." That pretty much says it all. The drinks were also fresh, refreshing, and paired perfectly with our meals. Honestly, I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their drink menu. Even if you're not vegan, don't let that stop you from trying this place. Le Botaniste proves that plant-based food can be comforting, satisfying, and packed with incredible flavor. A huge thank you to Alan for making our first visit such a memorable one. Great food is important, but great hospitality makes people want to come back. Needless to say, I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.

The bright and beautiful neo-Victorian vibes complement the visually appealing displays of food and decor that recall a 19th century apothecary. With locations around NYC, as well as in Belgium where it all started, La Botaniste serves up "100% organic plant-based food." The bowls are pretty substantive and they have lighter starters/sides too for those who just want to dabble. You can choose one of their signature bowls (the Tibetan Mama, with its satisfying curry base, comes highly recommended), or build your own from a lineup of bases, sauces, toppings, dressings and garnishes. The food tastes fresh and clean, and I include this place in my rotation of healthy quick salad/bowl/vegetarian meal options in the neighborhood. I love that they have raw vegan treats, an increasingly rare find since several of my favorite raw vegan spots in the city closed down over the years. I'll admit I was first lured in by the antiquey aesthetic and the colorful vintage florals, but the food and environment are both very pleasurable.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water. Since we were there for brunch, I decided to try the P.S. Breakfast ($22) which is tofu scramble, spinach, portobello mushrooms, and corn muffins. My friend got the P.S. Burger ($20) with a gluten-free bun ($2). For the breakfast, the portobello mushrooms were the highlight of the dish. They were very juicy and had strong umami flavor! I love spinach even plain, but I think it could have used a touch more seasoning. The tofu scramble was seasoned, but it could either use more seasoning or more moisture. The corn muffins were dry and crumbly, definitely the worst part of the dish. My friend said that the sauce brought the burger together and hid the fact that it's a Beyond burger. She also mentioned that she didn't feel heavy after eating the burger, which was nice. Despite us telling the restaurant that we had to go to a musical, service was on the slower side. My friend also had to try several times to get to the bathroom, since someone was always inside. However, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would only recommend P.S. Sentir is 100% vegan, and I would confidently bring even my carnivore friends here without hesitation. If nobody told you it was vegan, you'd simply think you were eating some of the most creative, flavorful Mexican food you've ever had. It's that good. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can tell this isn't just another restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting without feeling pretentious. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind (thanks Camila who served us both days!), knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to talk about the menu and the other restaurants in the group. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction. The food completely exceeded every expectation we had. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with bold flavors, and unlike anything we've had before. We found ourselves talking about every bite and immediately discussing what we'd come back to try... which ended up being less than 24 hours later. We were so excited by the food on our first visit that we completely forgot to take pictures! (It became a complete afterthought because we had already scarfed everything down. ) Thankfully, we redeemed ourselves on day two! The cocktails also deserve their own standing ovation. They're creative, beautifully crafted, and every bit as memorable as the food. If you're looking for a restaurant where every detail has clearly been thoughtfully considered from the atmosphere and service to the food and drinks, Sentir absolutely delivers. We travel to NYC often and almost never eat at the same restaurant twice because there are so many amazing places to try. The fact that we chose to come back the very next day says everything you need to know. Sentir has officially earned a permanent spot on our "must visit" list every time we're in that part of the city. What We Ate (and absolutely LOVED): Sentir Guac - Easily one of the freshest and most flavorful guacamoles we've ever had. It was served with chips and a deep fried tofu that was reminiscent of a "chicken skin" or something along those lines. I've never tried anything like it and it was good and unique! Carne Asada Tacos - Perfectly seasoned with amazing texture and incredible flavor. Al Pastor Chicken Tacos - Sweet, savory, smoky, and absolutely delicious. Cream of Corn - I wasn't expecting a bowl of corn to stand out the way it did. It was warm, comforting and cheesy. I just wish it came with something to dip with. Unfortunately too much was dripping through the fork and I wanted to savor it all! Chile Rellenos - Beautifully prepared with layers of flavor in every bite. It was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth! Tamal de Carne - Tender, comforting, and packed with incredible flavor. What We Drank: Sentir Michelada - One of the best my husband ever had. The chose Modelo as the beer Little Pitcher - This was a bunch drink. It had grapefruit & orange juice (among other things) but it was shockingly unique and dangerously easy to drink. Café con Ron - The perfect twist or play on an espresso martini but a million times better! Nutty Olivia - I believe this was on "special" and it was a mooth, creative, and another cocktail I'd order again in a heartbeat. It contains gin, which my husband doesn't like but he must have stolen at least 3 sips before I told him to worry about his own drink! Final thought: If a restaurant is good enough to make us skip trying somewhere new in New York City and instead return the very next day, that's about the highest compliment we can give. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a lifelong meat eater, do yourself a favor go!!! I have a feeling you'll be planning your second visit before you even finish your first.

Beyond Sushi was in Midtown near where I was staying, so I ended up coming here---on Valentine's Day, which happened to be a mistake! Since I didn't have a reservation, the lady who checked me in told me I had to find a seat at the bar. Her attitude was not the best, as when I looked over the menu and made a decision on what I wanted to get, she dismissed me when I waved her over, saying she is not the person taking orders. Um, okay? Then who is? One guy at the bar was nicer, and was able to take my order. I started off with a hot tea since NYC was cold in February, and then decided to have as much as I could of two dishes---the "chicken" yakitori skewers and the Korean BBQ skillet. The skewers came in a set of two, with a white mayo-like sauce drizzle and pickled cucumber on the side. Super delectable, though very filling because of the protein! The skillet was made with classic Chunk Foods protein, the go-to plant-based option for all the meat dishes at City Roots restaurants as far as I know. This was incredibly filling, but the sauce and the texture were all around delicious as well. I could NOT bother to finish the brussels sprouts the skillet came with---way too much to stomach, and I was going to focus on the "meats" since I can always have brussels any other time! The bill by the end of it was PRICEY. That's why I only go to one of these restaurants as a special treat when I visit NYC. Watch out if you order hot tea...$13!! I guess that's the NYC way, but still!
