This food truck has found a nice spot with parking across the street. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Has a nice area next to it to sit and eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Though watch out for the mosquitos at dusk!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The churros were sweet and delicious! Service was friendly. It's a little bit of a wait as they fry up the churros and top them. Excited to try more flavors in the future!
Best churros in Austin!! Lots of dipping sauce options with seasonal specials that are always delicious and so fun to try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It is a good truck but there is plenty of outdoor seating all the time and the staff are always incredibly friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I always try to visit when I get the chance!
This food truck in South ATX is the perfect sweet treat! The churros were warm and fried crispy. There are lots of different topping choices available. I picked the standard cinnamon, sugar and an apple topped as well. Delicious! The service was speedy. Parking on South Congress is always tricky, but I had no problem finding a spot on a cold Sunday evening.
I loved the bubbly personality at the window when ordering. So welcoming and cheerful and EXCITED to take our order. Ordered one of the seasonal churros (strawberry shortcake - fresh strawberries and sauce with whip cream ) very yummy and crispy. Also ordered the traditional churro with CBD infusion and Nutella topping . Overall very pleased with the taste and price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seating is a few picnic tables![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The churros were great! I'm always worried about them being too sweet but they were actually just enough sweetness. We went on an evening that wasn't busy and we got our churros in less than 10 minutes (probably even less than that!) the eating area clean and the area itself it was located it was quiet. I'd definitely go back! We got the s'mores churros and hot cocoa.
Fast and friendly service. Husband and I each tried a different t one. I tried the Texas one and he tried the apple pie one with added ice cream. They were really close in flavor so wish we got a different one with chocolate or something. They were both really good though! Will be back when visiting the area again.
I would give this place 6 stars if I could. Why? Because I've never had a good churro before in my life, and Churro Co basically said "hold my beer". My wife was told about a s'mores and hot cocoa Facebook event that was going on here where you can buy s'mores and hot cocoa, so that's the original reason why we came. The thought of getting churros never entered my mind until coming here. After seeing someone pickup their order of these giant churros with ice cream on it, I knew I had to try. My wife and I decided on getting churros with some goat milk caramel sauce, and an apple soda float. Let's talk about the churros first: they were fresh, crunchy (but not overly so), and decked out with cinnamon and sugar. Just those by themselves were grade A level. Then add in the caramel and I had no words. Now on to the apple soda float: I was blown away. We all know what root beer floats are by now, so to have something completely different like this was a unique spin that I am super glad I tried. I should also mention the staff was nice too. The guy who took our order seemed friendly and approachable compared to other places I've gone to recently. Ok let's end this review by saying that YES you need to go. I don't care that the place is roughly 20-30 min away from where I live, because I'm going to go back again in the very near future. Thanks Churro Co for making me a churro lover now. One last thing: After eating it all, I stupidly realized that the napkins were up at the front so make sure to grab some to avoid super sticky fingers.
I don't know how I've gone this long without trying Churro Co! Its was the perfect sweet treat. My husband and I split the Campfire, which includes 2 churros, Mexican chocolate sauce, toasted marshmallow, and whipped cream. We also added on a scoop of ice cream. YUM! the perfect end to our date night. We'll definitely be back.
Last night we went to get our sweet tooth fix. The churro was good but a little on the thinner side. I guess I was expecting the churros you get in Mexico which are filled with caramel or a filling which are a bit thicker. But it was still delicious. The service was fast that we had to wait for about 10 mins and sat on the picnic tables. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had to get some ice cream on top of it because it was warm outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We also tried a hot chocolate which was a cold drink and it was good. We finally tried this place and it was good.
This food truck hit the spot for a late night snack. Of course, they have churros. They also have ice cream. You can get specialty churro snacks. They also have root beer floats. If you want to eat there, they have a small sitting area. I went at 11 PM and it was pretty busy. I ordered just the traditional churros. They were perfection. They had right amount of cinnamon, sugar and crunch. It didn't take long to get my order ready either. It took about five minutes. Parking is limited. Staff was super friendly.
To die for churros!!! Came here on a Weds night at 9:50, right before they closed! I ordered the plain churros per my friend's experience and recommendation -- did not disappoint! These churros are the perfect balance of an outside fried crisp with a soft and fluffy center. I also ordered a salted caramel sauce on the side because I am a sucker for caramel, but honestly did not need it! My only regret was not getting one more order for my boyfriend to enjoy. The churros came out within 6-7 mins as promised and the service was wonderful! I really liked the cute camp style picnic tables and string lights..I would totally come here regularly if I lived in Austin. Definitely add this place to your list if you are visiting Austin! Also, one thing to note that hopefully will save you the trouble that I went through: this is the ONLY location and address. Apple maps shows another location on E 7th, but this is the OLD LOCATION and there is not in fact any churros there! Make sure you come to this location listed here in the yelp :)

We definitely love our sweets. Depending on the time and season, it could be ice cream, could be pie, but one item is always towards the top of the list is churros! We stopped here one evening after eating dinner, chips and dip and pies. Yes we were pretty full, but hey, these are churros! Small trailer with just a few spots to park, we actually missed it and drove around the block a few times. We ordered the Texas Comfort and Hippie Hollow and had a seat on one of their picnic tables. A few minutes later these delicious churros were delivered to us. We absolutely loved them both. Crispy fried churros dusted in cinnamon and sugar. Salted Caramel and apple pie made for a memorable experience. The mixed berry and basil whipped cream were a refreshing and tasty combination. We ate everything except the containers they were served in. We may have licked those containers. One of our favorite stops while we were in Austin and a place we would love to visit again! read more

Hands down the best churros I've ever had! We tried the Hippie Hollow, The Leslie, and the traditional churros and added ice cream and cajeta. The cajeta is a must! So rich and creamy. The hippie hollow was such a unique dessert with basil, granola, and berry compost. The flavors meshed perfectly! The Leslie was delicious as well. And the Coca-Cola ice cream float was the perfect way to wash it all down. Definitely give this place a try! read more

OMG. Next time I'm getting my own instead of sharing. I only got a bite of the CAMPFIRE churros, but it was awesome! Warm churro + cold ice cream = perfect combo Cute little sitting area with tables, and a small parking lot is available next to the truck. Will return! read more

These guys are the best!! It was my kids Birfdaze and I couldn't order through Uber Eats, they suggested Favour. I was able to place my order, but no option for dippin' sawses....boo! I called and they added the sauces for free!! These guys rule!! And the Churros? Fugetta bout it.....so awesome and perfect as a Bday yummy gift!! I took a mid feast pic as they were too bad ass to wait!! Heaven..... read more

This place is incredible. We got the "Date Night" - comes with popcorn sugar, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream - seriously licked the bowl clean. The churros are large, but not ridiculously so, the perfect amount of ice cream and the salted caramel I could drink a vat of it. I will be back. For sure. read more
THIS PLACE NEVER FAILS ME. Good customer service and AMAZING churros. They're crunchy exterior is coated with cinnamon sugar and then you bite into the fluffy warm interior. I also get the classic with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! It always hits the spot! Parking is tricking...I always street park in the neighborhood behind Bouldin! read more
They make fresh churros! What more can you ask for? They also offer a ton of ridiculous toppings. Imo, fresh churros is good enough, but hey, I might as well try something different. We shared the campfire churro, which was the perfect amount for us. The churros were crisp on the outside and soft in the middle. The Mexican chocolate sauce was super yummy and the toasted marshmallows were perfectly charred, just how I like it. We gobbled this up quite quickly. Great place for a sweet dessert. The food truck is super cute and so is the decor and sitting area. Fyi, the wait time for your order is actually quite long and finding legal* parking is a little difficult. read more
Really delicious churros I was very impressed with the taste. The location is not hard to find but something to take into account is the parking situation is kind of hard as there is no parking for the place. There are other businesses near by and parking is reserved strictly for those places. So be careful where you park. Once parked the location has plenty of outdoor seating. Overall a great find highly recommended if your craving some warm churros in Austin. read more

Made to order, you can select their half dozen flavor choices or make your own. You can accompany your selection with coffee or their mexican hot chocolate. Either way, whether you chose one of their many flavors or take it plain, you win as nothing beats a hot, freshly fried churro. This place is soooooo yummy. Enjoying the Austin Sun in SoCo and SoLa on a Warm Spring Sunday... I stumbled across the most delicious cinnamon - funnel cake - carnival - like smell... So me, my friend, and the pooches kept following the smell..... Really kinda thinking it was the incredible Mexican Bakery nearby, but it appeared to be this really cool Kinda tiny Food Truck. We had just enjoyed some doggies from Doggy Style so I decided I would ruin the delicious vegan meal I just had with a Deep Fried Treat. Now it took an entire 10 minutes for them to make this. I was salivating at the mouth just waiting and watching others enjoy.. I was like... commmeee onnn! Eventually... My name was called! It was like heaven. A Warm - Cinnamon-Sugary - Soft inside RICH heaven. I slept damn good that night. read more
Came here this afternoon and got the Wake and Bake churros, Traditional churros, and a Cocoa Cola float. Both churro options were solid, though I preferred the regular Traditional ones without toppings. The float was decent and refreshing. I wouldn't go out of my way to get it again, but if I was coming back for churros I might grab one. They also give you the leftover soda that wasn't used in your float. Overall, this satisfied our churro craving well and was a fun change of pace. Service was exceptional and the guy who took our order was the nicest and friendliest food truck employee I've ever met! read more

Amazing. Phenomenal. Fan-freaking-tastic. Sooooo good. I had the S'more Churro, but I really wish I would have been able to try them all! Too bad I don't live in town... I would definitely come back to this place on my next trip to Austin though. This and Gourdough's made the "recommend to friends/come back and visit again"-list. Ice cream, Churros, and toppings were all amazing. Give it a try. I was impressed by how well the flavors combined. read more

You HAVE to eat at this food truck while in Austin. I walked in the hot July sun while seeing churro mirages and it was seriously worth the close call on the heat stroke. I love churros and unfortunately where I live they are hard to come by FRESH. Sure I can find them, but finding them not stale is a different story. They are making these made to order so you are guaranteed to get a fresh, crispy outside, soft inside churro from these guys. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I'm pretty sure ice cream enhances any dessert so why not go a la mode while you are at it. read more

I have regrets coming here. Got the Campfire and waited maybe 15 minutes to get our food. It was so basic... the churro is a bit tough and plain and the toppings weren't that great. Graham crackers were typical, basically what you'd buy from HEB or something of the sort. The ice cream was average. Why is everyone raving about this place? There's really nothing special about it. This place is like a catfish- only the presentation is good, but looks are deceiving. Do yourself a favor and go to Gourdough's instead. Thank me later. read more

Let me just start by saying I LOVE churros and have been waiting to try this food truck for a while and had high expectations. My boyfriend and I went around 8pm on a Friday. There wasn't a line which made ordering super quick. Since it was our first time we ordered the traditional churros and added cajeta and chocolate sauces to go with it. We waited about 5 minutes for the churros to come out. When they arrived I was a little disappointed by the appearance. I was expecting them to be fully coated in cinnamon sugar and piping hot, but there were sections of the fried dough missing sugar and the churros were warm, but not hot. The temperature might have something to do with their sugaring process so I was not super upset about it. The cajeta was the clear winner for sauces! Super rich and sweet, I would definitely get it again. The churros themselves were good, but nothing spectacular. We wish there was more of an even cinnamon sugar coating. I want to come back and try one of their specialty churros to see if those are as good as I hope! Parking can be difficult because the truck is located off of South 1st and there are a limited number of spots out front, so keep that in mind! Overall, we had a good experience, but the churros were average in my opinion. read more

Churro Co. is a one of a kind dessert truck in Austin. Scratch that... it's a one of a kind truck anywhere. Specialty churros topped with ice cream? Yeah, can't get better than that when your sweet tooth is screaming. Not only are the employees sooo so sweet, but they treat you like friends. I'm happy to see that they've opened their second location in north Austin next to Thunderbird on Koenig. Sooo convenient with the beer on tap inside (btw)! Beer + churros? Oh yeah. They have a short and sweet menu with specials and traditional churros that I like with a small 2oz container of cajeta. It's too good! Yes, I recommend it. Highly. Yes. I'll always be back. Yes I want them to cater all my large events in the future. Just yes. Check them out at either location! read more
I'm surprised there are not that many reviews here. Not sure if this is a new place but Churro Co came up when I was researching for desserts for our ATX foodie weekend. I loooove churros so I knew we had to come here. It was next to a coffee shop so our friends got their cold brew as well. The churro "truck" is situated in the backyard of the coffee shop and there are outside seatings. I ordered the Date Night which comes with 2 cinnamon churros, caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream. They make it fresh and it's a good portion to share. We really enjoy our desserts and would visit again whenever we come back ! read more
I haven't had a really great dessert yet in Austin. I was searching options today and stumbled across this food truck and immediately decided that churros for dinner seemed like a good idea, and it was. I debated between the Texas Comfort and the Campfire, the toasted marshmallows won me over and I was very happy with my choice. The churros are made fresh (so it takes a few minutes after you place your order) they somehow manage to be both perfectly crunchy and incredibly soft at the same time. Definitely add on a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it melts a little over the churro and... whoa. Added bonus, the food truck is adorable and they have some great picnic tables nearby. The guys running the truck were super friendly and gave me some great advice about neighborhoods in Austin that I should visit. read more
Went out after meeting up with a friend downtown and had a craving for churros. We were both excited to try this food truck. My friend had been before but had never had cajeta from them and was excited because it's a treat in some Mexican cities and some of the border towns in Texas. She also had the Mexican coffee but we both felt like it was more of a name versus the ingredients that gave the drink its name. When we inquired if Abuelita chocolate was used we were told no. One thing I liked is they had seasonal churros. I tried the Texas Comfort which was amazing. I also appreciated that I had the option to change the sugar because I was as familiar with cardamom which has more of an earthy flavor. She had been to the food truck before and went back to her go-to which was the campfire which looked delicious. It's worth checking out. We even went when it was chilly and was pleased. They should be serving hot chocolate soon as well. read more

This is a food truck located next to an open outside area with a few picnic tables. I came in the middle of the day but think it would be a lot of fun coming at night as they have lights hung up all around. I got the date night and it was really good. I could have done without the sea salt on it, personally. but the churro and ice cream were great. I would definitely recommend creating your own if you don't have a huge sweet tooth like me. read more

IF YOU ARE IN AUSTIN YOU HAVE TO GO TO CHURRO CO!!! It's amazing. It's a cute little pop up truck that is slightly off the main drag. There's lot of outdoor seating and the whole set up is just laid back and relaxed. My husband and I split the date night and it was the perfect portion for us both! The flavor was amazing. It was the perfect balance of sweet and salty and the ice cream on top was perfect on a hot day. We'll be in town a few more days and I will definitely be back to check out another flavor! read more
Be still my churro-loving heart. When I found out Austin had a churro food truck I had to go. Their hours are limited so if you want to check them out you'll need to plan ahead. The staff were friendly and they weren't busy when we went (around 4:30/5 on a Wednesday) so ordering was quick. I ended up getting the "Campfire" churros rolled in graham cracker sugar with Mexican chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and marshmallows. The churros looked like a work of art when they came out. Taste wise, I thought they were good. Everything that was listed in the menu description I could taste so no false advertising. My one criticism would be that I wish the churros were hot instead of warm, but they probably had to let them cool so the toppings wouldn't melt. They have a couple of tables with umbrellas set up for seating which came in handy as it was a little misty when we went. read more

Amazing churros from this cute little food truck in south Austin. Had the campfire churro which was so tasty and sweet. Just what I needed after a long day in the city. I will say the wait was rather long for a churro, waited approx 25 mins for it... however it was busy and in the end was worth it, as I wasn't in any rush. Recommend! read more

Churros so fresh anytime of the day or night that screams churros heaven no other resort-type diners could replicate. Ran by few super polite and friendly guys manning the fryer and the cashier, Churro makes families, ladies and couples all feel welcomed. A quaint little spot next to the gigantic La Mexicana Bakery, Churro Co. stands on its own tall and strong. The patio seating are brightly lit at night but could get breezy at night in winter so bring your jacket and scarf if heading over there after dinner for a dessert. Could use a few more heat lamp to get customers to stay longer and order more. Of all the combo I think the Texas Comfort is the must-have. Otherwise go for the a Traditional (but don't forget to add icecream)! If I have a choice I would come back every day when visiting Austin read more

Simple and Short...The reviews truly speak for themselves...I mean who doesn't like a churro...The folks that run the place are friendly and the orders come up quick. Wife went with the Texas Comfort and I went with the Date night. Although they look sweet, its a perfect combo. I cant wait to pick up the granddaughter next round so we can take her for a round. I love this place so much and wish that my parking skill was better so I could go here more often. The churros were hot, fresh, and crunchy, and absolutely divine. The wait was quiet long (maybe that's why the churros were so fresh) even when it wasn't busy, but our group didn't mind that. There were some 3-4 tables outside. I highly recommend. read more
Yummy churros, fairy lights, and Austin sunsets; Churro co has it all! We've come multiple times, but it's The Traditional that we always come back for. The outside is sugared perfectly without being too sweet and overwhelming. Right beneath the crispy cinnamon shell, the insides are incredibly fluffy and warm. After nibbling to the middle, the ice cream and caramel sauce are a refreshing and cool break from the steamy churros. Whether summer or winter, this incredibly charming food truck always has something for the occasion, and we'll definitely keep coming back. read more
