Everything was absolutely delicious. Definitely an amazing Italian place that stood out compared to this saturated market in NYC. The mortadella was super fresh, the rabbit pasta was amazing, and the zucchini was awesome. service was great too. The ambiance is fancy, so make sure to dress up!

Dear Chase, thank you for introducing me to this incredible date night spot. You'll barely ever see me write a review for Italian spots because I don't even go to any. It's almost impossible for me to ever be happy with Italian food outside of Italy or home. WELL, Ci Siamo proved me WRONG and I'm so happy they did. We came here for a pre concert dinn dinn. Initially I thought we'd just get some drinks and apps and keep it moving. The dishes were jaw dropping and served with the prettiest details. We ordered the tagliatelle al sugo, orechiette with ramps, pistachio and pecorino and the snap peas with bulgur, asparagus and sunflour seeds. WOW WOW WOW The sugo was uncomplicatedly made come lo fa tua nonna. None of the heavy Italian American traditions. All so delicious adding their own twist. The orecchiette was such a creative dish but also so bright, colorful and so many different textures and flavors that to perfectly together. Portions were perfectly sized and we got to share and try everything. If we would've ordered apps it would've been too much. Got the Ci siamo martini (botanical to the core just how I like it!) and a rotating mezcal with aperol drink. Overall great place to dine in or come out with your friends. Be sure to make a resy!

{Overall: 5; Food: 5} Ambiance: 5; Service: 5 I loved everything about Ci Siamo. The ambiance is delightful. The restaurant is huge, but still feels warm and inviting. We sat on the patio, which was perfect for a summer day. We enjoyed everything we ate and were genuinely left wanting more by the end of the meal. *Cast Iron Focaccia: Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The tomato conserva alongside it was delicious. *Mortadella con Pistacchio: Simple and well executed. Great mortadella. *Escarole: Reminded me of a Caesar salad. The leaves were crisp and generously dressed, which I loved. *Braised Beans: I generally do not love beans, but I loved this dish. It felt like a hearty, comforting bean stew. *Rigatoni Alla Gricia: My favorite dish of the night. Rich and creamy with salty guanciale and perfectly cooked pasta. *Roasted Half Chicken: Usually chicken is not something I get excited about at restaurants because it can be bland, dry, or both. This was one of the best restaurant chicken dishes I have ever had. It was perfectly moist, incredibly well seasoned, and felt like a thoughtfully composed dish rather than just a piece of chicken on a plate. Even the white meat was tender, and the skin was fantastic. The service was excellent throughout the meal. Combined with the beautiful setting and consistently strong food, it made for a memorable dining experience.

I usually don't venture this far north for dinner (given the abundance of great dining where I live), but would come back for the amazing pasta dishes! We started the night with the tomato appetizer and focaccia, which we would recommend. For pasta dishes the orecchiette and alla gricia were the standouts. Service was good too. Don't miss the wine in the elevator!

Came here for lunch yesterday after a Peloton class, and it exceeded my expectations. My steak was the only disappointment. I ordered it medium, but it was cooked well done. Despite that, the quality of the food and overall experience were still very good.

Ci Siamo might have the best foccacia I have ever had and I'm a sourdough bread baker and have had my fair share of good bread... I highly recommend trying it. I got to try a lot of their dishes on a prix fix menu and my favorites were the cast iron foccacia, carmelized onion torta, rigatoni alla gricia, bomboloni, and lemon torta. You have to try the bomboloni if you like rich dark chocolate desserts. It was fudgey, rich and so decadent. Their Amaretto Sour was also delicious, kudos to the bartender who went above and beyond to get an extra ingredient to make it and shook up the delicate egg white top.

I came here during a trip to New York City last week, and really enjoyed my time. The staff was wonderful, everyone was very friendly and service was prompt. I only had a late lunch because I wasn't super hungry, but what I had was pretty tasty. Honestly, I was inspired to write this review for the salad lol. The INSALATA VERDE, was freaking incredible. UGH. So fresh and the flavors were perfect. I also got a pasta, CAVATELLI ALLO SCOGLIO, but sadly wasn't that into it. All of the flavors were good, I just think it didn't come together in a way that my taste buds enjoyed lol. But I can't say it was nasty, just not my vibe. Overall was a great visit, and a great location for a cute lunch in the city, especially if you're near the highline! Oh! And I can't forget the cute little welcome wine that they have in the elevator. It's only on the second floor, but it was a nice experience.

This is a chic, rather large, Italian spot. We came here before seeing a show and it did not disappoint. The best bite of the meal was the Carmelized onion torta, it was absolutely delicious with balsamic and just enough cheese. We also shared the smashed potatoes which were great, and the cucumber salad which was soooo unique and tasty. I was also impressed they had two NA wine options but sadly no reds. I did still enjoy my NA Pinot Grigio. Lastly, we got the rigatoni alla gricia. This was probably my least favorite, it wasn't very memorable. Our server was super sweet though and I think this was a very affordable spot in the city!

We went here for a dinner with coworkers and found the food, service and ambiance to be great. This place gives off the vibes of being an institution - for all good reasons and they lived up to it. We started off with a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic mixed drinks which were all rated good by the drinkers. We ordered a mix of appetizers - the caramelized onion & cheese torta was a table favorite, as was the salad which had a perfectly balanced tangy dressing. We also enjoyed the smashed cucumbers. Next we got a selection of pastas, the guanciale was a favorite and we also enjoyed the rabbit and crab pasta. Entrees were the steak, a good sized portion, grilled chicken on the bone and an excellent pork Milanese with anchovy sauce on the side. We ended our meal with a lemon torta, basque cheesecake and an espresso dark chocolate cake - which was more like a sorbet but nevertheless delicious. Our server gave us great suggestions, including going for a family style meal and did not rush us making this a memorable meal.

TL;DR: Crowded Italian spot with pricey but large portions. A bit salty, but good flavors otherwise. Best dishes: Cast Iron Focaccia or Caramelized Onion Torta to share. Baba Al Rum was also tasty, as was the Orecchiette. Rigatoni was salty, but well-flavored. I visited a popular Italian restaurant from the Union Square Hospitality group with a group of five others. The restaurant is quite large, and although it was somewhat noisy, the tables were spaced apart enough that it was easy to hear everyone. We had an early dinner at 5:45 PM, which took quite a while, but I didn't mind. To drink, I went with the Bitter Giuseppe for $19, with Cynar 45.3, Punt e Mes, lemon, and sea salt. I'm a fan of most Negronis, and this was a particularly bitter version. The bit of lemon and sea salt added a unique but enjoyable flavor at the end, though in retrospect, the salt probably wasn't super necessary. Two of us split, and eventually, a few of us ordered their signature appetizer, the $18 Cast Iron Focaccia, with tomato conserva, a mixture of crushed tomatoes, olive oil, and Calabrian chili. The bread was fresh and warm, albeit a tad oily and salty, but it paired wonderfully with the conserva. As someone who doesn't like it when bread is extra, this was delicious and worth it. Another person ordered the $18 Insalata Verde. It was very large, but fairly basic, with a vinaigrette that had a citrusy and mustardy flavor. There was also the Caramelized Onion Torta for $27, which was very large, as expected for the price point. It had a creamy and tangy flavor from the Pecorino Toscano with some sweetness from the onion. It was delicious, but very heavy, and I would recommend that around three or four people split it alongside the focaccia. Finally, there was also the $15 Pizza Bianca, which was easily the smallest of all the plates, but they still enjoyed it. My main dish was the Orecchiette for $26, with ramps, pistachio, and pecorino. Like most of their dishes, the portion size was quite large, with plenty of pasta, which was perfectly cooked. The ramps added a touch of sweetness, although I would have liked a few more nuts. Additionally, there was almost too much pecorino, which made the dish slightly salty, but it was still enjoyable. As a side, I got the $19 Grilled Asparagus with dates, vermouth, and blue cheese, which came with many pieces of lightly charred asparagus. While there was plenty of funky blue cheese, I would have preferred more dates. Two of the others got the Rigatoni Alla Gricia for $30. The portion was large, and I tried a bit while they tried mine. The noodles were again cooked perfectly, and while there was a lot of guanciale, this was easily the saltiest of all the dishes. For dessert, I chose their Baba AU Rum for $18, which was uniquely mixed with chocolate and orange. The presentation was a bit off, as it looked like a certain emoji, but the flavor made up for it. The subtle hint of rum paired with the bitter-sweet chocolate and orange. The dark chocolate-covered orange slice on top was a nice touch as well. Someone else got a tart, and one other person got the Gelati, which resulted in one of the only faults during service. She heard it was two scoops, and ordered espresso stracciatella and hazelnut, but was given two separate orders for $12 each. The gelato was good, but unlike most things, definitely not worth it for the price. I liked the appetizers much more, but I found the food good overall. Tasty dessert, and the portions make up at least a bit for the relatively higher prices.

Came here a for a nice lunch. Loved the decor and vibe. Service was great! Staff was really nice. Appetizer carmelized onion torta. So good very decadent. Def a must try! Meal we ordered two pasta ( rigatoni alla gricia and orecchiette) and shared ribeye for some protein. Presentation was really good but was really disappointed it was so salty. I was even surprised the ribeye was really salty, but also very fatty. Not sure if it was an off day or we just had bad luck.

I'll go as far as saying Ci Siamo is my favorite Italian spot in NYC after Misi Ci Siamo was named the #1 restaurant in the U.S. by Yelp in 2026, and EVERY SINGLE DISH HIT! I saw fellow Yelper friends Lailah J and Stacy K's great reviews so I decided to give them a try. You HAVE to get the caramelized onion torta, and you really can't go wrong with any of their pasta. The vibe is upscale but still cozy, with enough space between tables so it doesn't feel packed. It's not that difficult to get a res if you book early. *Caramelized Onion Torta $27 ** Their signature torta absolutely slaps. One of the best bites I've ever put into my mouth. Rich, creamy, and cheesy, almost like a French onion soup in pie form. It's definitely indulgent, so I'd recommend sharing. *Marinated Broccoli $18 * Didn't expect to fall in love with a veggie dish, but here we are. The broccoli was packed with flavor and finished with smoked chili and crunchy breadcrumbs. *Rapini Agnolotti $29 ** Stuffed with ricotta just how I liked it. The bright citrusy note from the lemon really lifted the dish and balanced everything well. *Rigatoni Alla Gricia $30 ** Super satisfying. The guanciale was crispy and savory, and the rigatoni held onto the creamy sauce well. *Olive Oil Poached Orata $38 Since they're known for their handmade pasta, the entree didn't quite wow me. The fish had a few small bones, which threw me off a little. *Lemon Torta $18 The olive oil meringue was fluffy and light, pairing with the tangy lemon tart. It didn't leave a strong impression though. *Torta Calabrese $18 ** I'm usually not a chocolate dessert person, but I actually preferred this over the lemon torta. The combo of espresso gelato and rich dark chocolate cake was a match made in heaven. I loved the slight bitterness in it.

The food was outstanding: every dish was well prepared, flavorful, and absolutely worth ordering. Unfortunately, the service was a major disappointment. It took more than 10 minutes for our wine to arrive after we ordered it. After we finished eating, our dirty plates sat on the table for over 15 minutes while multiple staff members walked by without clearing them. I eventually had to place a plate over my food just to get someone's attention. Our wine glasses were never refilled, and the only time anyone checked on us was after we had completely finished our meal to ask how the food was. It's frustrating because the kitchen did an excellent job, but the service fell far short of the quality of the food. I probably won't return because there's so many options in the city.

Is it a kid friendly or good for family dinners?

I would say that it is not particularly kid friendly. This is more of an adult restaurant.

Any issues wearing jeans and a sweater here?

No. Most clients dress smart casual.

Are dogs allowed on the top patio?

    Absolutely not!!!

Is there a spicy dish on the menu?

Having dined there for both lunch and dinner I don't recall there being what I would consider a spicy dish on the menu.

    Is this place kid friendly?

Although I did see a family with young children, I would say it is really more of an adult atmosphere. Not to mention I wouldn't call it a kid friendly menu.

The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor bars, creating a fun, lively atmosphere. I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in NYC.
