Good spot for local Chinese food with reasonable price and cleanliness inside the restaurant. Server was so nice and food came out fast and delicious.

I was bored this evening and kinda hungry after work. As I walked home my initial thought was heading to the Korean restaurant on Sutter Street and get my favorite grilled chicken gizzards, but for some reason I ended up here. Dang it, one more block! Anyway, I just live directly across the street. Maybe it was the convenience of not having to walk back one block up, I didn't know. I ordered sweet and sour pork & hot and sour soup. The sweet and sour pork batter was hard as rocks and hot & sour soup was too salty. Dang it, it was just one more block.

Was walking by after looking at Christmas lights and decided to stop in for dinner. It's a small hole in the wall shop, but definitely worth stopping in. The food was delicious, no weird textured chicken that you get at a lot of places. It was a bit pricey for the amount of food that you get but it's to be expected in the city. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, I had the general tso chicken and white rice. The man that was working was kind and answered all of my questions without hesitation, great service.

Delivery lunch while working. Had this a while ago. Ordered the beef bean curd and an order of potstickers. Not a bad lunch, your average Chinese food. No interaction with service staff as this was a delivery. By the way, I read another review saying their phone number is wrong, so I just look it up and send Yelp an update. Here it is in case they don't update it or takes a few days. (Four-1-Five) 563-1085. Hope that helps everyone.

I've loved coming here since I moved, but after finding this metal object in my food as I was literally chewing, I would never eat here again. Such a hazard.

This place is so good! They have amazing tofu. Definitely plenty of veggie options. They're super fast, too.

Visited the city for a few days. Wanted an early dinner and wanted take out. Chinatown was in walking distance but the place I wanted to go to wasn't open. Ended up here. The photos I saw online didn't look too appetizing. But thought "it's San Fran! The worst Chinese is still pretty decent." I was wrong. This is a 2 star spot. That should tell you pretty much everything. I ordered the beef chow mein and the Hunan General Tsuo 's Chicken. The chow mein in comparison to every other chow mein I've had was lacking in flavor. It just felt like the bare minimum was done to cook it. The chicken was simply okay. Felt like it could have been tossed a bit better so that the sauce could be coated all over and not just on one side. Came in on a Tuesday around 4pm. There were a couple eating inside and two people picking up. The host was also the cook. So taking my order was a little slow. The seating area was okay. The ambiance was not memorable. Wouldn't eat here. It's clean. But because it's very casual. I would say it's probably more of a quick lunch spot rather than a date night spot. There was barely an aroma in the air when I entered and should have left at that point but I talked myself into it because it wasn't really expensive. It's about 10-13 dollars per item.

I feel like this store is a hidden gem on Bush Street. We came here on my friend's recommendation as she tends to come often. The restaurant seemed very casual and not a lot of people eating but they had a lot of delivery. We got seated right away and the food came out quickly as well. We thought that the portions and the pricing were good as well. As for the food, they were good. They seemed fresh and well made. I will definitely come again.

They're horrible. The food is terrible, it came out cold, and the portions are tiny. They're the worst Chinese food in SF. THE WORST.

Our party of 4 ordered the fried hawt rabbit, spicy Singaporean crab with fried milk bread, Hong Kong black pepper steak, and beef chow fun noodles to share family style. Overall, we were super impressed with all the food. Everything other than the chow fun were super unique, but all the flavor combinations worked so well together. While the chow fun wasn't unique, I'd say it's still a very solid dish. Everyone in my party left full and satisfied. The food is a bit on the pricey side for it what it is, so I wouldn't come here regularly but I think that it's worth coming for a special occasion. Service here is super friendly and attentive--our waitress checked in on us frequently and brought us extra napkins and gloves for our food, which was super appreciated. This restaurant is on the smaller end and does have a long wait, so if you can, I'd recommend making a reservation.

One note is that parking can be a bit challenging so get there a bit early. The inside is lively and filled me with so much nostalgia with the decor. The staff is really attentive and friendly. I also appreciate the free peanuts and cucumber salad that you get when you're seated. My boyfriend and I ordered a lot of food because we wanted to try so many things! The lamb skewer was super moist and had a nice flavor. The XO escargot with milkbread had a nice buttery, garlic taste. The milk bread was fluffy and when dipped in the sauce it tasted very rich. We also got the clay pot rice and it reminded me of when I had it in China. The rice was crispy at the bottom and well seasoned. My favorite dish of the night was the squab. It was cooked excellently and the skin was really crispy. The five spice powder on the side really brought out the flavor of the meat. The eggplant was cooked well and portion was good but it didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. Overall, I would visit this place again. It definitely lives up to the hype. The squab and and clay pot rice were the stand outs to me but all the other food was really tasty as well.

My mom used to get the pan fried noodles from here and i always used them as my reference point for any other restaurant that also serves this. It's what I remember and grew up with. So far only one has come close! This is all I remember from that place and how delish it was. Fast forward to yesterday. They were really nice and welcoming as soon as I went in. We didn't want to order too much, so we only got the beef hor fun and green onion pancakes. The pancakes were so good! Nice and chewy on the inside and crunch on the outside. The chow fun I had really high hopes for. My memories as a child having had chow fun all the time, had this distinct taste to it and made a certain way. Their chow fun was good, but I think it was lacking a little flavor? I also wish they used the wider noodles instead of these thinner ones. :( It wasn't bad at all, I just had a certain expectation. So far, there's only one place that is reminiscent of what I remember and it's in Sacramento. That being said, we will still come back because I would love to try the Simon's garlic chicken and more of the pancakes!

I do remember that I absolutely loved the Peking duck. They came with very thin, I can only describe it as tortilla crêpe things that you would put it in.
