I got home to eat that pizza and crispy garlic bread, it was all I needed. So the pizzas were fully cooked and cheese pull cheesy. I tend to like the bottom of my pizzas crispier, but that's a personal preference. My friend who doesn't like that preferred these pizzas. The place looked like a classic pizza joint, even had the old school gumball machines with toys and stickers in them. There were at least 4 tables for dine in eating...I think, haha. Looked like a nice clean place. Service was excellent as well, they really took care in making the food. I look forward to coming back and trying the calzone!

City Pizza is easily one of my favorite local pizza places. The employees are always friendly, and service is quick. We get coupons in the mail for them and they're always good deals, but it's hard to pass up their carry out specials for 1-topping pizzas. Everytime we've gone, it's never really been too busy inside. It's a small little joint, similar to most Domino's locations where most orders are to go. The pizza itself is very tasty. Coming from a different area, it reminds me of a homemade Godfather's Pizza. Definitely recommend

It was WAY to hot to cook last night so I ordered a pizza to go from this local spot. I've been to City Pizza a few times over the years so I'm surprised I haven't written a review before now. Ordering online was super easy and the pies are really reasonably priced. I was having a hard time choosing which one so just went with the basic Hawaiian. Boring I know. 30 minutes after ordering, I popped in to pick up my pizza and ALL THE DIPPY SAUCES. If you know me, you know I love a good dippy sauce. Typically I just get the extra container of pizza sauce but this time I also got the garlic white sauce and OMG I'll never over look this cup of goodness again! What I like most about these place is the pizzas aren't greasy and the crust has sesame seeds which is a nice touch. I drizzle a little hot honey on it and .. yum! My pie was simple (because I'm boring) but tasty. I ordered the medium and it'll last me at least a dinner and two lunches. Service was great. Super friendly guys behind the counter which as we know, service can make or break a business no matter how great the food is. They do have a dining area but it's small and not overly inviting. It's pretty obvious they focus on to-go orders and do that very well, The pizza here is good but not epic. Perfect for a quick dinner or lunch option that's reasonably priced with great customer service. I'll certainly be back and will be getting that garlic white sauce to dunk everything in!

This has been a gem since before we moved away from the bay area in 2014. One of the few places you can still get a large one topping pizza for $15 and a medium for around $11. The cherry on top for me is the sesame seeds, it really rounds out the flavor of the dough. Honestly, I think this place is better than Mountain Mike's or Round Table. Budget friendly and great for a pizza night.

This place never disappoints. I haven't been to the Bay Area in a while but whenever I'm there I always try to find a way to make it here. Drove an hour and half from where I was staying and it was definitely worth the drive. Pizza tastes amazing, not sure if it's their ingredients or their dough, but whatever it is they're doing something right. I tried the chipotle chicken pizza for the first time & WOW it was delicious! I really like their sesame crust. Employees are super friendly which is always a plus. If you haven't tried the pizza here yet make sure you do, you'll thank me later :)

Staff is pretty friendly and our order came out in 10-15 min. Be aware everything is frozen. Like literally you can see the frozen bags of food in the fridge. The gyro sandwich was a letdown, the salad was pretty old and brown looking and the gyro slices were very thin. The mozzarella sticks were great, boiling hot, but great. My partner got the Garlic Italiana and said it was just ok.

A really great place to get party size pizzas. The taste is great with the added sesame to the crust. Pizzas are very customizable. Each pizza can have multiple sections of different types of pizza on request. Crew is very friendly. It's Halal and it's perfect. It's always my to go place whenever I need to order pizza for a big party.

I love local restaurants because their quality seems to stand out from chained restaurants, so I was glad to find this local restaurant that make fresh pizza for about a good price. Pros: Price: The pizzas are reasonably priced. In front of their window, they have a daily deal for large 1 topping pizza for 9.99. Quality: Ingredients are super fresh! I ordered a pizza with grilled chicken and found the pieces to be super thick and moist. And they also have a pesto sauce which is super delicious, so much tastier than the traditional red sauce. Crust: I personally love the crust at City pizza because its thick and crunchy. And to make them stand out from other pizzerias, they bake sesame seeds to the crust. It's a hit or miss with people, so If you cannot stand sesame seeds on your pizza, then let them know in advance. Cons: Seating; There is limited seating inside, so it's more of a take out and delivery type of pizza place. Overall, if you live within the area, then this local pizzeria is worth the try! read more

I am not a pizza lover who goes nuts on pizzas. I like thin, crunchy crust and unusual toppings such as artichoke hearts, feta cheese and other non traditional pizza toppings. It drives my husband crazy as he likes the good old pepperoni, but we found a happy solution at the City pizza. We each ordered personal sized, 8" mini pizzas! Yay!! No more bargaining on the choice of toppings before ordering, and they did have my favorite topping combo - the Artichoke pizza - artichoke hearts, black olives, feta cheese, tomatoes and garlic, and it was pretty yummy. My husband's chicken gourmet pizza was not bad either, but he liked my artichoke combo also. I liked the sesami seeds on the crust, and the flavor and consistency of the dough. Also with this small sized pizza, the center of the dough is cooked through and not doughy or soggy in the middle. I wouldn't say it was cheap - for 2 of the 8" pizza came around $15, but it was freshly baked and tasty pizza with good dough. I think I found my pizza place! read more

I love carbs. Pizza is a carb and a damn good one, at that. And when it's cold, carbs are comforting. Not that I need an excuse to eat pizza in the first place, but it helps. Was driving by on my way home from holiday shopping and saw their "pizza by the slice" sign lit at 8PM- immediately drew my attention because I'm used to being limited to slice purchases only being available for lunch hours. And I'm weary of buying an entire pizza because, um, I'd eat it. And I don't need THAT many carbs, but eventually I'd find a way to consume the whole thing, probably within 24 hours, and then feel mega guilty about it. So anyway, I saw the sign and pulled in. Immediately asked to confirm if slice purchases were still available for dinner, and was told I could pick from pepperoni or cheese only. Not a problem, two pepperoni it is. Seems this place sees a majority of takeout and delivery business, but there are about five tables to sit from if you choose to dine in. Service was very simple: order, pay, wait, leave. Not particularly friendly but hey, they were busy with the dinner rush- I don't think the girl taking phone orders set the phone down once while I was there. Got my slices in two separate to-go boxes and immediately knew I'd underestimated the slice size. Opened boxes and added peppers and cheese from the shakers on a table, and drove home. I live nearby and pizza seemed to cool pretty quick, wasn't hot as expected when I got home but it wasn't a big deal. Only ate one slice and was okay with my choice- not too much sauce, crust wasn't too bready or thick but wasn't too thin either. Good amount of cheese and pepperoni. The crust at the end of the slice though has a delicious sprinkle of sesame seeds on it though! Very pleasant surprise. I find it a tad dry, but the addition of the seeds made it flavorful and reminiscent of a gourmet-bread flavor, so I ate it all. Would go again for a slice if I'm in the area. Sign in window advertises a $10 large pizza, which is pretty good pricing, too. I'm pretty sure a fresh-made whole pie would be much better here than the reheated slice I got, but for what it was it wasn't bad. One last note though is that the menu prices slices at $2.25 yet I was charged a flat rate of $5 punched into the old school register rather than $4.50. I'm not going to pitch a fit over 50 while I'm there but I would suggest changing your menu price to reflect the true charge. Minor pet peeve of mine, but the sesame made it okay. read more

My new favorite pizza joint! Wasn't sure how I'd like the sesame sprinkled on the crust but it actually worked. The topping ingredients were fresh and tasty, and the crust had a satisfyingly crunchy bite with a soft middle. I'm salivating just thinking about it! We also ordered the chicken wings and cheesy bread (go big or go home) for the two of us. I'm always hesitant ordering wings for the first time at a new spot as they can taste like an afterthought to the pizza, but city pizza did not disappoint. My husband even raved about how good they were, and I'm the wings lover between us! And the cheesy bread sticks. With extra marinara sauce for dipping was one word: bomb. So so so good. The boyfriend and I have been itching to try a new pizza place after frequenting Mountain Mikes consistently for the past 3 years. We pass City Pizza all the time and have always wanted to try it, so a few Sundays ago, we decided to indulge our curiosity. Our adventurousness paid off because this place is great! Their pizza is delicious, their delivery is fast and their online ordering is simple. The delivery guy was nice and the boyfriend and I both loved the pizza and ingredients. City Pizza absolutely knocks it out of the park. As numerous others have mentioned, the trademark of this establishment is the clearly made-in-house sesame-laden crust that immediately gives City a leg-up on all other pizza joints. City tastes like California pizza ought to taste: it has a buttery, savory crust paired with thick, zesty red sauce, and freshly shredded mozz. There's a reason these people have such an immaculate reputation in Campbell. Anytime you mention City Pizza to a local, you will immediately be met with a soft look of longing followed by a lover's moan that eventually exits the throat, in the hopes that merely speaking the name will somehow deliver one of their perfect pies to your doorstep instantaneously. I judge pizza based on a few different styles: Chicago-style deep dish, east coast style thin crust, California style, or "other" (and "other" is just basically those sadist that try to reinvent pizza with strange mutant ingredients or gluten-free crust). To be totally transparent, you won't find a better California style pizza than City. They own the market... and for good reason. May they continue performing God's work forever in the heart of Campbell, California. Hail City Pizza. read more

This is the 4th time commuting to city pizza from Hayward! And my experience as always has been great!! My girls love their pepperoni pizza and the extra pineapple in the Hawaiian sure is extra. Who ever is there is always amazing at greeting and making never rushing to take my order, always ready to help with any questions we may have! Pizza took about 20min to be ready and potato wedges were bomb super crispy! Plus a Clean place always makes it better read more

Sam, your pizza is great! Love it! If you would just fix a few things on your website, that I have pointed out the last 3 times I've been to your place, I'll give you 5 stars!!! Issue 1. I really like the artichoke combo pizza. When I read the description it says that it has Feta cheese. However, when I go to 'order' it on your site, feta cheese is not included and it has a check box to add feta cheese for a fee. So, I call and we work it out. Issue 2. I like the thick crust. However, when I go to order it on your website, there is no option for 'thick crust'. So, as above, I have to call to work it out. Issue 3. You have coupons/specials on your website. However, when I go to order on your site, there is no way to enter the coupons. So, I have to call to work it out. I would love to be able to just go to your site, order what I want, and go pick it up. Saves me time. . . saves your employees time. It's a win-win!!! Thanks for the delicious pizza! I ordered pizza delivery and it was only $1 for delivery. I live only 2 blocks from City Pizza. The pizza arrived 20 mins or so and it was good. I ordered #1 combo pizza and it was overflowing with toppings. Fresh ingredients but the dough could be better. The chicken wings were good too. The delivery man came back because he forgot my salad. I didn't order salad so maybe it came with the pizza? It's not ur normal cheap Pizza Hut pizza prices either. read more

The Margherita Pizza is very good. Almost every bite has basil unlike others. The basil is placed under the cheese. The garlic cheesy bread with the marinara sauce is also very good. I usually order via takeout and my orders are always early. The store is clean and open. read more

A pizza delivery of this huge pizza came across the nursing station where I work. When I saw the box I couldn't believe how big it was. As soon as the box went down it was empty in just a couple of minutes. Later I had the chance to enjoy a small slice, someone saved for me...lucky me. After eating that slice, I had to find out where this place was so I could order me a pizza. I ate the chicken with white sauce pizza and it was everything! I love their crust, the flavor cooked just perfect and service was really good. I took my family along to share the experience and we all walked away very satisfied and full! I can't believe I've never heard of it before. And they've been around for 30 years!! This is now at the top of my list for favorite pizza restaurants. I'll definitely be back for more. City Pizza is our favorite place to get pizza. They put a lot of toppings on the pizza (their ingredients are excellent) and always have the pizza ready when they say it will be (we always pick up). It is a great value considering the quality of the pizza for the price they charge. Only tip is if you don't like sesame seeds on the crust (we do) tell them not to put them on. read more

This is a great little spot in Campbell, I've been to many pizza places around this area and there is something different about this one. Owner of the place is a very nice guy and seems to really care about his customers, place is very clean as well. Cheesy bites are to die for here!! Came here on NYE in the evening time and gladly they were open! Big star plus because no other places were open due to new years obviously. But my friends and i were desperate to get some pizza and wings for our party and reluctantly they were open. Pizza here is actually really good! Grease level is minimal so thats a big plus! Crust, cheese, and meat portion was spot on! Wings were alright tasted like just regular buffalo wings ain't nothing special For them to be open on new years eve is already a plus. If i was to work on this day i would be damned near pissed, but these folks worked hard on making good pizza and not only that they provided excellent customer service on this day! I would say about 15-20 people depending on the crowd. We had it at an iftar with ~20 people (kids and adults) but there were still about 10-15 squares left. Note that the Iftar had a lot of other food options involved.

They also had numerous pasties and this amazing bread pudding that I drizzled a Nutella sauce over and added some strawberries to. This was probably my third favorite bite of the day (after the little seafood dish and the caviar experience). I'd be remiss if I didn't give the truffled deviled eggs from the charcuterie area a shout out. These were so good we kept going back for more. The desserts were good but a number of them were a little dry, I have to say. Surprisingly, my favorite was a little passionfruit tart that had just the right amount of sweetness. I'm usually a chocolate kinda gal but there weren't that many chocolate options, I have to say. A few other things- our server was lovely and gave us a lay of the land to start. She made sure we had any drinks we wanted and plenty of extra silverware. While there just aren't as many touch points with a server at a buffet, the interactions we did have were very positive. And even though I was disappointed that they ran out of the Beef Wellington, I was so impressed with how they kept replenishing and refilling the other dishes right up to the end of the buffet. This was an incredible dining experience. I'd highly recommend this brunch buffet experience for special occasions. I'm looking forward to dining here for dinner in the not so distant future!

After about 40 minutes our meals came and they did not disappoint, from presentation to the flavor, taste and consistency of it all. I honestly don't remember eating my meal because it was done in 5 minutes... yes. it was that good and beyond delicious! I remember the steak was tender, juicy, grilled perfectly, the gravy was hearty and robust. the vegetables were cooked right ( fresh and tangy ) and the mashed potatoes were oh so fluffy and creamy. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal to the fullest and I left no food on my plate. This was a meal that was pretty epic for what it was and I was throughly satisfied. I ordered a tiramisu for dessert to take home and I'm sure it will be as good as the meal I had at the restaurant. Trattoria 360 is a fine establishment that has earned its flowers and you should give them a try if you're looking for delicious Italian food that is a cut above!

First we ordered the pork XLB, the beef pot stickers, Dan Dan noodles and the ja jiang mian. Then we ordered the Q-bao and banana crepe. The first round of food came out quickly and we noticed that the banana crepe was sold out. 1. XLB - there was nothing really special about the XLB at Dough Zone. The wrapper was a bit thicker than I personally like and the filling was just ok. Not the worst XLB I've had, but there are definitely better out there. We were offered ginger for these and the ginger was given to us grated instead of julienne. 3/5 2. Beef pot stickers - these were surprisingly good with the crispy underside and a juicy filling. Would definitely order these again. 4/5 3. Dan Dan noodles - these noodles are made with ma la (麻辣) sauce which translates to numbing spice popular in sichuan cuisine. The flavor of the noodles was a little under whelming, relying entirely on the numbing spice, and honestly these were not spicy enough. Ja Jiang mian - these noodles were cooked to the same texture as the Dan Dan noodles and I didn't enjoy the texture. The flavor was a little too sweet and the texture of the sauce was a little grainy. 3/5 After finishing these 4 dishes we were still a little hungry so we ordered the Q-bao. We also noticed the banana crepe was no longer sold out, so we ordered that too. When the waiter came out with the order ticket she apologized and told us there would be a little bit of a wait for both of these as they were fried. The total wait time was 20 minutes after ordering. The restaurant was not busy, so wait times might be longer if they are busy. 5. Q-bao - these were the best thing we ordered. The bun was warm and fluffy and the filling went well with them. The inside was moist and juicy and the sear on the bottom was perfect. 5/5 6. Banana crepe w/ whipped cream - the batter used for the crepe was the same texture as what you would expect the green onion pancake to have. And the umami cucumbers were joyfully crisp, with a slightly sweet soy sauce base, the sesame seeds and the bonito flakes on top adding to the umami. I ordered the Sukiyaki Beef Ramen - something unique, and it is not listed on the colorful poster on the door, nor was it listed on the menu card on the table. It caught my eye, though, when I ordered using the QR code. I felt like this was something on a secret menu or something . . . I was in heaven! The sukiyaki beef was tender and flavorful with that sukiyaki sweetness, and it perfectly balanced the saltiness of the broth. Oh, darn! I forgot to take a photo of the bowl of ramen!! Oops! Well, as I mentioned at the start of this review, I was delightfully full at the end, especially since I just could not leave perfectly delicious broth in the bowl. Good enough to drink as a soup! I must say, however, that when this place first opened, I was not impressed. And when I ate here two years ago, I was equally unimpressed. Today, however, I am blown away! The Chicken on the other side was very flavorful, slightly dry. Lastly, the dessert was a surprisingly good finish to the meal. Always great to dine here.

this place totally STINKS AND SUCKS!!! i just ordered pizza and i would NEVER order again EVER! the driver was having a hard time finding our house so my brother went outside and waited for the delivery guy and the delivery guy forgot to give us the 2 ltr diet coke! so i called the pizza place and told them that we didnt get the drink and he said he was going to call the delivery guy. after my call i waited 10 or so mins and i still did NOT get it. (how far can the delivery guy go when he was right here 10 seconds ago?!?!) so i called the place again and the guy said "take it easy and be paitent" is that how u say that to ur customer?!?! so i said "shouldn'tu guys say sorry first?!" and let me just write down the things he told me "if you dont like us then send us the pizzas back and i will give u back ur money", "it's been only less than 5 mins. (how can u lie to ur customers??)" he acted like it was not their fault. WTF?!?! so i asked him if i can speak to the manager he said he was the manager!! where should I start ok I ordered a coke waited for five minutes drank it dint taste fresh. I did a experiment before s coke outside the fridge for 1 day and 1 coke inside fridge 1 day. The coke outside the fridge tasted horrible tastes just like that. And the lady was rudely talking to us like if I was a some poor guy no offense. Taken 1 hour for the food. And PLUS they spilled my coke a foot of mess then I almost felt to leave I mean I am going pay money for NOTING!! I hate it. Almost every one was looking at me I mean so embarrassing. very good.... Since they're local, and they're really good, they get five stars. For me, it's everything I expect from a pizza experience. From great crust to great ingredients on top. When I watch them make it before they slide it into the box, it's the absolute best. What's to argue? I;ve had the cheese, the pepperoni, and the buffalo chicken. All of them have come out top-notch. They have a really great lunch deal...and the slices are huge, like reviews say...but the whole pizza can get a little pricey unless you know it's all gonna be eaten, 'cause it makes for great leftovers, but like I say, huge. read more

I probably order from City Pizza once a month, usually on a friday! And it takes about the same 40 minutes each time to get delivered which is pretty good and reliable. I order the XL city combo without onions, (my wife don't like onions) lol. But anyway, the pizza is BOMB! Fresh ingredients! I love the tomatoes and sausages. Start off with the caprese, it's better than getting the house or caesar salad and is light start to the meal. They also give you a lot of their delicious bread and butter at the beginning of the meal, so pace yourself and don't get too full before you main course arrives. read more
