Ok I always have had good things to say about Cobian's food, but been a while since been back. Ordered Country Fried Steak dinner, and the salad came with a lot of water in the bowl. Then the entree comes and they served me ICE Cold vegetables. I mean was still frozen ! Highly disappointed that nothing was done besides make new ones thrown in a pan and heated up. read more

Let me start by saying that the food is really delicious. They have a large variety which is always concerning, but definitely not in this case. We had a mixture of dishes and the flavor and freshness in every one was great. That being said I had to remove a star for a couple of reasons. The first being; and I wish I had gotten a Pic was the porkchop plate. While it was really tasty, it definitely wasn't a good value. The serving of potatoes was very small, like single scoop of ice cream small. The second issue was the porkchops. They were cardboard thin, the size of my 7 year Olds hand and only two on the plate. While you see the plated food in my photos covering these plates, there was barely enough dished on the porkchop plate to cover a quarter of it. Next, my fiancee and kids were served and I was told that they were still working on my order which was not a big deal.... Until it was. The rest of my family had nearly finished their food before I had even gotten mine. Last, while the Carne asada meat is really delicious, I was not a fan of how they were served. The tacos have a bit of meat placed in them and then all of the fillings are laid on top of them so you have to dig through and stuff them yourselves. I didn't mind that as much as the fact that the fillings made the shells soggy and break so it all turned I to a taco salad. With all that being said, I can not reiterate enough at how tasty and delicious everything was. Also, while I understand we are dealing with inflation, we did spend around $120 for this. We went to Red Robin and Chili's this past week and spent around $90 which included alcohol and appetizers as well. read more

Went today for the first time and was greeted with a smile as soon as we walked in the door. I ordered their Patty Melt and I can honestly say it was one of the best I've ever eaten. The food is good but to me it's tacky to have "restroom's for customers only" signs all over the place. There's 2 good size signs on windows as you walk into business then 3 more before you walk into bathrooms . " if person made it in that far those last 3 signs ain't stopping them from using restrooms." If there was homeless people living around here I get it but there isn't. I'm a business owner & I get it but why run people away for trying to use the bathroom. I'm trying to figure out how I have never given this place a review? I love this place everting I've ever gotten here is on point. The staff is over the top with kindness and hospitality. Try anything on the menu and you will not be sad. The burgers are on point the Mexican menu is awesome the breakfast menu is good. The have a pastrami sandwich that if your not used to that may throw you off. It comes with thousands island and lettuce and a few other unique things but I never get it that was as I go classic sort of. I get just the pastrami but drop the bun and get it in a tortilla. I also just get the mustard and pickles so as to stay as close to a traditional sandwich with less carbs a possible. Overall if you have net yet given this place a shot get there and soon. read more

Stopped by here for a breakfast burrito after the gym. It is a family owned place and they are friendly and hard working. The breakfast burrito came out quick and was huge, probably the biggest I've ever had (yea..cue TWSS comments). It was delicious too. Plenty of meat and hash browns, just the way I like it. My last review still stands for the most part but time for an update. Food is still generous & well prepared. Prices can be on the high side but if the quality & quantity is there it's not as annoying. Coffee is good but the refills could come faster at times. It's family run so there's a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. If you come after 3:00 the Dinner selections are quite good. It can even be heathy & low carb if you choose your sides wisely. I loved my Salmon plate & the Chicken Breast meal was good too. Breakfast is always good whether you like it Mexican or Country style. Worth mentioning again are the Burgers. If you were a fan of Russell's you'll want to get the burgers here because it's the same recipe! Not easy to spot from the road, it's in the 24 Hour Fitness Parking lot. read more

Working for a living... so... I ordered to go - a Tuna Salad with Italian Dressing. In the box - tuna, fresh lettuce mix, hard boiled egg - 5 pieces in quarter sections, shredded cheese, and tomato (if I chose to include on my salad, I chose no tomato). The salad dressing came on the side. AND, a slice of toasted parmesan bread. The salad is huge like 3 salad portions huge! The ratio of tuna to mayonnaise is PERFECTION. There were so many flies in the dining room that we had to cover our food with napkins while eating. I don't mean one fly buzzing around, I mean 5 or 6 swarming our table. The server agreed that the flies are a constant problem, but couldn't do anything about it because they have to keep the patio door open for ventilation. One problem is the pile of dirty dishes and leftover food that sits next to the dining room - see photo. This is surely keeping the flies in the dining room! And they seem to be okay with that. We left the nice server a 40% tip because we felt sorry for her. We won't be back. We dine out a lot, but never had to cover our food while eating, and haven't seen these unsanitary conditions in other places, regardless of open patio doors. read more

We have gone here about 5 times and they have always been friendly, helpful and delicious food. The last time we brought my mother and she had the Club Sandwich and could believe how much there was and the taste was so fresh. My husband and I had the Chicken Bacon Swiss Club and the flavors just melted in your mouth, very tender and juicy. The young man that help always has a great smile on his face every time we have had him. I wish more people knew about this place they are never busy when we go and we worry about them. I don't understand the hype of this place. The service was good and friendly. The menu is fairly bland. Lots of Mexican food dishes, hamburgers, a few basic sandwiches, and salads. The fries weren't anything special and the onion rings lacked flavor. You will pay a service charge of 4% if you use a credit card and if you want ranch for your fries, they charge you $.42. I feel like I should have gotten some credit for the lack of tomato and sauce on my husband's hamburger to be used towards the small plastic container of ranch dressing. I suppose restaurants will start charging like this (ketchup = $.35, salt/pepper = $.10/shake). We were offered, but not told it was extra and we're surprised to see the charge for "side of dressing". We won't be returning. There just isn't anything special about this place. read more

But for some reason, from the moment we walked in, it felt as we were welcomed back "home." Brianna and Jocelyn were like that family members we haven't seen for the past two years. Family Cobian's is back in business... For our family it is even better because they moved closer! It was so nice to see this family owned business resurface at a new location at the entrance to Los Alamitos Race Course and Katella!! My wife enjoyed a chili size while I got reacquainted with the best burger in town!!! We wish you all great success at this new location!! We went May 1th to see what was cooking...
