California omelette with hash browns and rye toast.

Service was fast and breakfast plate was great. Not too crowded so no wit for a table of my own choosing.

It's your quintessential diner-- the eggs are good, the hash browns are good, and the turkey bacon was good! It's a staple for sure, but nothing too out of the ordinary! In the pricier side, but so is everything here! Cheers!

This is a pretty solid diner experience. Located on the corner of 20th and 1st, this is a pretty bare bones establishment and isn't going to win any ambiance awards - BUT I think for the price, service and taste it really shines. Brunch is a nice affair - the front of the store is all opened up to let the breeze in from outside. $5.99 mimosas and bellinis, brunch specials that run around $25. The omelettes brunch meals are $23.95. This includes: 1) omelette of your choosing 2) a mimosa or bellini with 1 refill 3) the menu said that I would have a mimosa/bellini or coffee/tea/juice but they also included coffee 4) 2 pieces of toast 5) a bowl of fruit 6) a huge helping of hashbrowns Had the iron man omelette - a good amount of cheddar; would've liked for there to be some onion or peppers in this but couldn't find any of the combinations they offered with all the toppings I wanted. Not sure if they offer a build your own option for the omelette brunches since they're sort of pre-selected so I just went with it. Fluffy and all around decent, no other complaints. The hashbrowns are a little on the mushy side on the bottom but nice and crispy on top. This is likely because they give you such a large helping. And they're a little on the less seasoned side but nothing you can't fix with a little salt. The fruit is actually pretty impressive - extremely fresh especially for diner food. We had melons, grapefruit and grapes. Toast served with little packets of butter and jam - nothing to write home about there. Orange juice is made fresh in house - there's a little machine in back. The drink itself has a bit of a strong flavor from the champagne but still rather enjoyable. Pancakes - under $10. Fluffy, tasty. Doesn't dry out too quickly. Nothing to complain about here either. Service is slow at times due to how busy it is, but friendly and they offer things even you may have forgotten to ask about.

Bacon Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato Sandwich, Vegetable Omelette. There is an uptown called "Good Enough to Eat". Feels like this is CTD. It's your typical local American diner. The sandwich is really think though. Otherwise, the omelette is ok. The service is great. Not the greatest diner food I have eaten but again, it's good enough.

This is only about a 5 minute walk from my apartment. I come here a lot because it is so casual and a very relaxed vibe. Food is typical diner food, nothing earth shattering but gets the job done. Service is also decent fairly quick even on busy weekends!

It's diner food, nothing fancy but OK in a pinch. It is expensive for what you are getting and the burger is not great.

I ordered the Kale Chicken Caesar Salad, which comes with grilled chicken, kale, Caesar dressing, croutons, Parmesan cheese, and a huge piece of buttered bread. I also added grilled steak cooked medium because apparently one protein wasn't enough for me. Both the chicken and steak were flavorful, and the steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it. The salad was filling enough to feel like an actual meal rather than just something light. I also ordered the Strawberry Margarita, which was only $10 thanks to their all day, everyday margarita special. And listen, they are NOT playing with that margarita. It was strong but still tasted really good, which is exactly the balance I want from a cocktail. I ate alone and really liked the seating setup. I had a cute little booth that felt perfect for a solo diner, but it would work just as well for two people. The restaurant also has plenty of seating for larger groups, so it seems like an easy choice whether you're eating alone or coming with friends or family. The servers were attentive to me and assisted me quickly. They also checked in on me multiple times. The interior was another highlight. There's a beautiful wall covered with different pieces of artwork that adds a lot of character to the restaurant and makes the space feel much more visually interesting than your typical diner. Overall, this was a great quick meal while I was out running errands. Good food, a surprisingly strong $10 margarita, and a comfortable atmosphere for dining solo. I'd definitely stop in again when I'm in the area.

We loved seeing the pastries on display in the case while we queued for the table to be ready. I had the avocado salad with chicken, and my mom opted for the salted caramel waffle and hash browns. Everything was delicious and huge portions. Our waitress was very slow and didn't check on us much at all, but the great food made up for it. Make sure to stop by here with a reservation!

The food here is expensive and overpriced for diner food, but you're in Times Square and this is a known tourist trap, so if you go in with the right expectations, you'll have a good time. I got the Be Bop a Lula Burger which came with mushrooms, onions, and bacon and it was a solid burger. I also really liked how crunchy the waffle fries were. Would I normally pay nearly $30 for a burger? No. But I came here to hear the talented singers perform Broadway songs so I just chose an entree for the sake of it. The Sunset Swan Song mocktail was refreshing. They are quick with service which I appreciated. They sang a handful of songs during our time there but there was definitely a long gap between them (to be fair, it was like 8am) The food was good, not AMAZING but it was pretty good. It was a little pricey, but not terrible. They came by with a bucket asking for tips for the staff to be able to take lessons/classes, but just be prepared they were VERY pressure-y with it. This is separate from the tips from your order. I think this was a good experience to go once, but probably wouldn't come back again unless I had friends visiting from out of town that wanted to go!

Fast forward to 2026 (where I'm finally not broke as hell), the day has finally come, and I am ecstatic about stepping foot into this diner that surprisingly is still standing in 2026. The inside certainly feels like a diner, but not quite the old-school dinginess that I'm used to--it's clean. Given that it was Sunday at noon, it was very crowded in there and mainly flooded with tourist groups, but a table opened up for us pretty quickly. For a NYC diner, the menu is certainly small - this is probably done to keep tables moving faster. I got the Pastrami Hash & Eggs and it was just overdone and super oily and dry--almost as if they just refried everything except the sunnyside egg. Not gonna lie, I was very disappointed, given that I had waited for so long to come here, only to get food that was an attempt to give the staleness another chance by refrying and reheating. I actually beat myself up a little the rest of the day for finishing the whole thing, knowing that the oversaltiness was flirting with opening up some high blood pressure. It was also not moderately priced by any means (was close to $30), but I know I'm helping pay for that Midtown and proximity to Central Park pricing. Not sure if I'll return, which saddens me, but also knowing that they're part of a conglomerate at Fireman Group (and still run independently in a sense) makes total sense

With the hopes of avoiding any potential wait time, I decided to stop by on a bright, early Sunday morning at 8:30 AM. There was no line and I was seated immediately, but it was already packed (which indicates the food is top quality). Egg Cream: This chilled beverage has a beautiful appearance, especially the thick foam at the top. The ratio of seltzer, milk, and chocolate syrup were stirred perfectly. It was highly satisfying and a perfect alternative for a traditional breakfast drink. If you are not desiring the chocolate flavor, this specialty drink is also served in vanilla. BBC Omelette: This breakfast plate may have the same initials as the 24-hour news channel, but there is no relation whatsoever. This omelette was stuffed with broccoli, bacon, and cheddar cheese. These are not typically the toppings I order with an omelette, but I was feeling adventurous. It was a wise choice to explore this specialty plate because it surpasses my taste buds by a long shot. I never would have guessed broccoli and melted cheese taste well combined with an egg. A side of hash browns and toast is included. They were the backbone to the breakfast plate. In addition to a great meal, the service was impeccable. After I was seated, multiple servers checked up on me to make sure I wanted a drink. They always passed by and refilled my water glass. Even though the diner was crowded, the service was lightning fast and my drink and eggs arrived in a timely manner. This is a perfect dining experience and I see why they are always busy. #westwaydiner #midtownmanhattan #bbcomelette
