I really love the flavors and I always feel satisfied after I eat. This location is smaller than ones that I've been to and it was quite packed. Luckily, I was able to snag a table and enjoy my meal inside. The oddest thing for me was that I had to pick up my food at the counter at this location, where as the other ones i frequent drop it off at your table. My husband and I came in last Sunday for lunch. This location is very convenient. They have a parking structure and there are plenty of shops around the area. Worst service I can remember. Went here on New Years Day, after the Rose Parade with my grandmother. And I now feel I got preyed on, because of it. I ordered a chicken pesto and the girl taking my order didn't inform the sandwich comes with a side of my choice. The customer flow was only one way - into the store through the front and out of the back door. If you need to go back in, you'd need to go in through the front. Nice location to come have breakfast. I came today for breakfast and there were a few people there but service was quick. Only one person in line in front of me and they had 2 registers opened. I ordered a bacon and cheddar panini along with an iced coffee. I only had to wait 5-10min for my food to be ready. The food was good, I would come again but to try other things because everything sounds delicious. They have plenty of tables to eat inside but you can also eat outside in the tables they have. Parking: there was a lot of street parking available when I arrived at 10am. The street parking is only one hour but if you need more time you can go back to the machine and add an extra hour. It's a chain but the food is delicious. I was starving and went for the Anaheim scramble with egg whites. The husband got a breakfast burrito of sorts and sadly eyed my breakfast while I continued to work on it. I definitely ordered the better item. The scramble comes with eggs that you can sub for egg whites, fried potatoes, toast, avocado. The eggs themselves are scrambled with a variety of veggies-tomato, green onion, and did I mention bacon. It's delicious. The potatoes were perfectly crispy and fluffy in the middle. A bit on the salty side but everything was so tasty I didn't have to attempt to resuscitate with additional salt or ketchup. There are tons of breakfast options including sweet and savory all out breakfasts like the scrambles or if you're feeling healthy, go for the oatmeal. I'm always thrilled when our office orders from Corner Bakery. Lots of wholesome delicious choices here. I especially love the tuna sandwich on wheat bread. Blended with cranberries and nuts it's a perfect medley of sweetness, crunch, and savoriness. Their cookies are irresistible and always run out in minutes at our office. The variety of fruits never disappoints with their collection of fresh berries. All the breads are perfectly baked and a pleasure just to snack on without any spreads. Service was a big disappointment today here at this location. The cashier, Henry, replied to my girlfriend that the freshly packed of the Raisin Pecan Sweet Crisp is not for sale until all the packets on the counters are sold off first and that she can only buy those packages out on the counters. That has left us a sour taste and under the impression that we are getting day old packages. We felt the righteous reply should be as follows: "Sure. Here you go. Enjoy!" What the cashier should have done was to offer it to the customer when inquired. The reply was unacceptable to us and felt like a slab in the face. We do, however, appreciate the honesty of the cashier. By the way, the DTlA branch accommodated the same request the last time we were there. This location is very out dated. Needs a deep cleaning and better customer service. I love Corner Bakery. I ordered the Commuter Croissant and the cheese was not melted. I handed it back to the man behind the counter after I returned to my table and discovered that the cheese was not melted , I got it back they warmed the whole sandwich in the microwave including my tomato's and avocado . FIRST TIME HERE I ordered online from work because it was much faster and efficient to do that so when I come here to pick it up, I didn't need to wait in line. I got their pick 2 and ordered an Italian panini and an Asian wonton salad which came with a garlic bread. I think it was pretty worth it for about ~$8-9. Ordering online is really simple because you can choose what NOT to put in your food for picky people like me. Pretty much their Pick 2s are just HALF of what they normally are because you're picking 2 different things. It's good to do that if you're trying to try a variety of things. Since it was my first time here, I wanted to try the panini and be healthy at the same time, hence the salad. The panini was toasted and warm and the Italian panini was delicious with the right amount of condiments and meat inside it. I was disappointed, however, in the amount of peppercini that they had in mine. THERE WERE ONLY 2 PIECES. The salad, however, was delicious. There weren't a lot of chicken in there but it balanced well with my panini. The garlic bread was good but very thin. Probably thinner than a regular piece of bread. If you order online and spend more than $10, you can find coupon codes for $3 OFF. Definitely made my experience more worth it because I ended up ordering a cookie. Parking, however, is pretty difficult given that it's at Pasadena and it's mostly all street parking or you have to pay. Yes the reason I haven't been there because that very last time my favorite chicken Panini sandwich which I've been ordering there for years was hard as a rock so I decided not never go back ...... He said no problem he put the order in and that's what my ticket said also . well what I got was chicken arugula on baguette bread I pointed out to him immediately he said this is what I ordered. Breakfast is my favorite meal to have but there are also some good lunch and dinner options. Prices are average in my opinion for what you are getting. I am signed up to receive emails from them and often get deals with significant discounts. I'd recommend signing up if you enjoy Corner Bakery. This location of Corner Bakery in Pasadena gets pretty busy during the lunch hour and parking in the structure can take 5-10 minutes to find. There is also paid parking in front of the location on Lake for a minimal fee. Usually the wait to order is not too bad and the employees are always courteous and friendly. Food takes about 10-15 minutes to come out in my experience. The only thing I'd add that I have noticed about this particular location is that they have often made mistakes on my orders the few times I have been here. They are wonderful about taking care of the mistakes but if you order to go I'd recommend double checking your food. With that said, I would still come back to corner bakery. It's so important when you instill a concept, or service at the onset, you continue it. I was the Pasadena branch on Saturday and after I placed my order I was given a beeper. The young lady stated this is the new policy. I was so surprised and this is something that their management needs to think about. When you go to any average restaurant you are brought your food, or drink order if you are dining in. It's so important to continue something that you instilled when you first opened. We've been to Corner Bakery Cafe, but not to this location, so we stepped into give it a try. They have a bit of everything- sandwiches, soups, salads, paninins, pastas, baked goods, coffees, teas, lemonades. I settled for one of their combos (decent deal at $8,69) of pasta of your choice and side salad. I got the pesto cavatappi (it comes with toasted garlic bread) and a mixed green salad (they also offer Caesar salad) . They were very good. My husband got their chicken pomodori panini (you also get a pickle) and for an extra buck he substituted his chips for a mixed green salad. Everything was tasty. We got a lemonade (decent) and cold water from the house. Service was very good, since it was our first time at this location, the girl who took our order gave us a piece of cinnamon cake from the house. Much appreciated! I guess I can review the service and the particular location of this cafe. I find that at this location the servers and the cashiers are helpful and patient.
