This is mainly for the West Hollywood location since they don't have a Yelp account yet. I've been to this Hollywood location and had a great experience here too. For WeHo I've been here a few times I highly recommend the strawberry dreams Matcha and the banana Matcha those are my favorite as far as sandwiches. The spicy guy is definitely my top favorite. It's ample amount of seating. They also have merch and cool candles like a Lana Del Rey candle. The customer service here is great and friendly. Claire is absolutely amazing and has turned me into a returning customer. Highly recommend checking them out. read more

Review for the drinks from a Yelp event: Double matcha strawberry: my fellow Yelp elite commented it was really rich, but I thought the texture was great! It's very creamy and I love the tart dried strawberries. I did not love the ice cubes that get in your mouth with each sip. Need a straw if the drink only has 1-3 ice cubes. Cafe de olla - great that they offer this Mexican style of coffee. It's a lot of cinnamon, but the coffee is good. Banana matcha - This was my least favorite because I think it had too much cinnamon and not enough banana. When you make a good banana cream, you get that sweet banana flavor. This was missing for me. The banana chips on top make it pretty. Jet was really nice and didn't forget that we were missing some drinks! What a lovely cafe! It's right along Hollywood Blvd but it feels like your cool local coffee spot. Big space inside, there's space for seating, and fun colorful walls. The staff were all so genuinely friendly and seemed like they were having a great time. Also, SUCH fun music here. I was having a blast singing along to the tunes while here, lots of throwbacks. I got the matcha with strawberry made with almond milk and my bf got the rosemary passionfruit espresso tonic. Such fun and unique flavor combinations here! I was going to order the double matcha strawberry dream but since I can't have the cream top (dairy-free) the lady rung me up for a matcha + strawberry. I really appreciated that she looked out for me and my wallet, most places wouldn't do that. Very honest. I tried my bf's drink and it was not quite my cup of tea but it was interesting! I enjoyed mine but I'd probably get it slightly less sweet next time. Love this place! Hope to try it again sometime. read more

New coffee shop in Hollywood alert! When I heard Couplet opened up near my school I knew I had to try it. It is so colorful and fun, perfect for Hollywood. The barista was welcoming and super friendly. I decided to get an iced einspanner latte and it was absolutely delicious! So glad I found a new spot that I can go to during my long school days. Cute cute cute new coffee shop!!! This overtook a boba shop that I honestly didn't have interest in. The staff is so chill and so friendly. I love that places like this are opening in Weho again! This place has such a good vibe and you can really just chill and grab a cup of coffee AND THEY HAVE STRAWBERRY MATCHA!! That have a few strawberry matcha drinks which makes me so happy. I ordered a double strawberry matcha and it was so delicious! They whip the strawberry puree in with the milk so it's like strawberry milk. The prices are also so reasonable. Love the vibe of this place! Very brightly decorated and has an overall fun atmosphere. The workers were also really nice and you can tell they were enjoying their shift. I ordered a matcha americano and it didn't disappoint. The matcha was strong in flavor but not overpowering. Smooth finish and great balance between earthy and floral without any bitterness whatsoever. Couplet has come to Hollywood! This is one of their five locations. I stopped by for an opening event they were having. 20% off drinks, sandwich samples, tattoos and tooth gems! This spot is so community based and you can feel it. I ordered their cafe de olla as a latte, creamtop adds some sweetness, but not my favorite drink overall - something was missing and I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I would recommend their banana cream matcha, not too bitter and the banana comes thru nicely. Excited to come back and try other drinks! read more

So happy Couplet opened in Hollywood! As a self-proclaimed matcha-snob, Couplet is my favorite cafe within walking distance to my home. The menu is fun and interesting, so you can get a classic or something unique like a Rosemary or Banana matcha latte. I've enjoyed everything I've tried here. I would even recommend their bites like the breakfast burrito. Everyone was working as been SUPER nice. I've even received a "local's discount" before. The cafe is funky and cute with lots of interesting wall art and merch to look at. I even bought a cute hat that says 'matcha' on it! read more

The second time I came in the very cool barista said "remind me of your name again?" which on the one hand is like oh no I've been perceived but on the other hand I then got a 10% Hollywood neighbor discount unprompted! This was very cool and took the prices down from 2026 LA coffee shop insanity to like... 2023 prices. We'll take what we can get! There are so many cool little touches here like the stack of little metal sauce cups next to the hot sauces on the counter. There's also a free photo booth which I've never seen before. This place also has the number one thing I look for in a coffee shop which is plentiful outlets!!! The vegetarian breakfast burrito is solid (although a bit small and overpriced), but the iced pistachio vanilla latte is the star of the show. Truly unique with a confluence of flavors and not too sweet. One small gripe: there are no bathrooms. I understand the challenges of the location, but the "no ICE" sign on the front window falls a little flat when the gentrifier coffee shop can't provide this basic amenity. In contrast, Sana'a Cafe down the street is always super chill about providing bathroom access and also letting our unhoused neighbors chill and exist in their space. read more
