It was my very first time comming and it was with my mother for Mother's Day. We walked in, expecting it to be packed, and it was. Earlier that day around 3:00 we made reservations for 5. The nice hostess took our name down and confirmed that a table was reserved for us. When we walked in, the hostess we approached told us that they do not take reservations. The manager was nice enough to put our names on the top of the list and got us a table immediately. Our only problem was that the wait for our food was unbearable. Appetizers like hush puppies and calamari were pretty good but I got a fried shrimp basket and it just wasn't good. Everything here has this weird distinct taste of oil and too much old bay. The shrimp is fried in the same kind of batter like chicken tenders- just not what I was expecting. There was so much batter I almost couldn't find the shrimp. Corn on the cob is covered in Cajun seasoning but wasn't listed that way, not a fun surprise. The wait staff is nice but not helpful. While having our drinks, perusing the very limited and overpriced menu, I noticed a COCKROACH climbing the wall... Showed the waiter & told him we would be leaving. He was very understanding but still saw fit to charge us full price for the drinks. I'll be surprised if they are still open in 2019. Two stars only because the food was good, but the service, kitchen service, customer service left alot to be desired. We waited 45 minutes to get served and when we spoke to the manager she was bouncing all around legit reasons. I think the problem was that they catered to the take out business and not so much the in house people. The waitress was not professionally on top of the whole situation. I'm very disappointed of the lemon pepper wings I'm black but I only ate a little bit of the chicken because how bad it was like the seasoning was salt and food coloring to make it look like lemon pepper wings my Grandpa almost died it's as dry as the Popeyes biscut though I will give it to them the waiters are amazing and they have great service but don't eat those lemon pepper wings it was the most horrible thing I've ever tasted I downloaded this app just to warn everyone how much garbage it is I'm not even full but once I tasted it I got full because it digested me to lose my appetite. New to the area and checked Yelp to find a quick dinner spot, but since so many closed at 9 we were limited. We just came from a week of seafood in Alaska so we reluctantly came here but wow were we pleasantly surprised. The King Crab here was more succulent than the crab we ate in Alaska!! We mixed the garlic and lemon pepper seasonings and although a little salty, it was perfect. Will definitely be returning soon! read more

Whenever I'm near the beach I have to get some seafood. I looked around and Craft Crab was the restaurant I settled on. The food was delicious, though it seemed to be pretty overpriced. The seating arrangements were a little too cozy for my liking as the neighboring tables were so close that I was basically sitting with the family next to me. In the end, I left very full and very satisfied but a little lighter in the pockets. However, I would eat there again. read more

This was one of the worst meals I've ever had. The lobster was overdone and tough! Two little potatoes and half a cob of corn was so measly. The corn was overdone too. This was absolutely awesome, hubby had lobster, and I had crawfish. I rarely give a five star, so I will be be back for sure. We had the garlic and butter with medium spice. Like I said YUM YUM. The food was a-mazing! The service was wonderful, prices were reasonable. Dress casually, and don't wear white - you will be getting down and dirty with your food, which is served in plastic bags and covered in whatever spices you ordered. We were amazed at both the quantity and quality - the only things that weren't perfect were the gumbo (never again) and the corn was a tad overcooked. But the seafood was to die for. Being from Pa. we had never had a seafood boiled dinner before. Actually, the dinner comes in a steam bag but it is understandable in order that you get all the delicious sauce it is cooked in. And I mean delicious! We dipped our hush puppies in the sauce and it made them even more tasty! We chose the Boom Boom sauce (mild) and it was the right choice because my husband likes spicy and I like mild. We shared the small seafood dinner with a side of hush puppies and coleslaw which was just the right amount for us. We think that our future boiled seafood dinners are going to have a very hard time coming close in comparison to this! Our waitress, Sabrina, was helpful and friendly- everything a waitress should be. Kudos Sabrina! We are thrilled to hear that Crafty Crab is opening a restaurant in Pa. read more

One of the worst restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. The oysters were very bad. We ate 6 of the 12 we ordered. Out of 6, 3 were bad. We stopped eating them. I have never sent back oysters and almost never send back anything. We also ordered $30 king crab legs and they weren't that fresh either. The worst part was that the waitress removed the oysters but then the MANAGER came and told me she was putting half of them back on. When I told her it was bad customer service, she started arguing with me. Besides that we waited over an hour for food and we received plastic forks. It was a horrible restaurant experience. They're waiter was so rude. We also paid for food to go, forgot it as soon as we got to the car. We ran back and they tried to deny us our food. We ordered and paid for. Then, the waiter who served us, tried to downplay the situation. The manager was being a dick. They don't have customer service skills at all.
