We had been waiting on this place to open ( it is right next to our gym). We finally went today and let me tell you, the crab was crazy good. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. They lets us know they are new and working out the kinks. We completely understood. We got a couple of the combos that have crawfish, shrimp, crabs and a few( like one or two) potatoes, corn and sausage. We also added some king crab. While the combos were good, I fell in love with the crawlin' sauce and the king crab legs! We did get the fried Mac and cheese which were small but good. They had a bit of peppers in them but weren't too spicy. The sauce that comes with it is surprisingly different and delicious. My son loved the peach mango tea! We will definitely be back. Second time I went to dine in with a couple friends. The server we had wasn't as friendly seemed like he didn't want to be there. I ordered fried calamari, 1lb crab, 1lb headless shrimp, sausage and corn. My friends had ordered the boss bucket and lemon pepper wings. The fried calamari was pretty good, the food looked better than the first time but it was still really bland and the crab was a bit undercooked, also they were really tiny as you can see in the photos. My friend's wings were really bland as well. I didn't say anything about them because I got full of the shrimp, sausage, calamari, and corn. The table spacing is really bad the servers can barely fit through them. One of the servers from the other table almost knocked my drink over when she was trying to squeeze through so I moved my drink towards me so she wouldn't knock it down. My server actually ended up dropping coke and butter on the table which got all over my phone. At first I thought it was just the coke he had dropped but once I started wiping it down it wouldn't come off. Then I realized it was butter, it got inside the phone so after my meal and paying for my food I decided to talk to the manager. I talked to the asian guy in the front asked him if he was a manager and he said " no I'm just a worker here" then redirected me to the general manager. I spoke to general about my visit, gave him feedback about the food and the incident of the server dropping butter and coke on my phone. He apologized and had told me they could comp my food and give me money for my case. He also offered to pay for any damages to the phone if I took it to a repair shop. The asian guy who was at the front came by me, sat down next to me and stared me down. I asked him are you the owner of the place and with an attitude he responded "no I'm just a worker here like I told you". A couple minutes go by an asian lady comes out takes out her phone to take a picture of me and the table I was sitting at. That was a bit odd the asian guy then came around again and I had asked him hey why did she take a picture of me he responded why does it matter, she didn't take a picture of you she was probably taking a picture of the restaurant. He left so I asked the general manager why she had taken a picture of me and he was surprised to hear that. He said "are you sure" I responded yeah you could easy tell she took a picture of me. He said "I have no idea why she would do that since we have cameras, I'll check to see if she took a picture of you". I asked him if that asian guy was the owner he then told me yes that's one of them. He explained to me that the lady who took my picture was his wife, that she does things out of the ordinary. The lady came around to talk to her husband and on the way back I tap her shoulder to ask her why she had taken a picture of me. The owner got all defensive and started yelling at me "hey don't touch my wife, don't touch my wife". She didn't respond to my question and the owner was trying to find anything to pick a fight with me. The general manager then came along asked what happened, I showed him how I tapped the owner's wife shoulder and here comes the owner yelling again "don't touch him, don't you touch him". The general manager said "I don't see why he's acting like this if I'm the one who's trying to resolve this, he told you to talk to me". Once again the owner kept staring me down to where you could see he wanted to become violent. So I decided to get an officer involved, the authorities came spoke to me as I'm doing that you could see the owner doing something shady with general manager. The authorities spoke to the owner and he told them he wasn't going to do anything for me. The server was going to pay for my phone, the authorities told me that I should just leave and file a lawsuit for the situation. I was truly amazed and confused on how everything was handled. Never did I think that just giving them feedback and letting them know about the incident this would be the outcome. I would be careful going to a place like the crawlin crab, I'd rather drive to Red Claws in Arlington where they have better service and better quality food. read more

Most establishments will waive the cost of the food you don't like or try to find a way to make it up for you. This is the best boil place in the metro plex. The owners are the sweetest couple that love the opportunity to have this restaurant and share their delicious food with you. Get Izzy to be your waitress. She knows the menu well and her service is amazing. We have had amazing food every the time we have gone. Fried catfish wasn't muddy tasting at all, super clean. The food is good but inconsistent. I have been many times. The main problem is the managements lack of caring. If a table has an issue, and the waitress lets the manager know, the management should take care of it, instead of saying they are busy. I have had food issues twice. The first time the manager came out and said he would check with the kitchen, then never came back and the second time, we didn't get all of our food, and the manager told the waitress he was too busy to come over (never got the rest of the food, we eventually just paid and left). So far, we have seen a fist fight and two tables walk their tabs (on different occasions). One of the ladies tried to get management over and they ignored her, so she walked her tab, from what the waitress said. On the way out the door, the staff locked the front door, locking everyone inside the building. We were standing outside the door waiting for a table.
