The food was delicious!!! We got the Cajun fries and also the sampler. The fries came with a sauce that's like Cane's sauce but has a better flavor. I also got the spicy seasoning on my sampler. It came with crawfish, shrimp, snow crab, corn, potatoes, and sausage. It all had such a wonderful flavor and worth the try. Lexi our waitress was also amazing and let us take our time ordering. Only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because of the frozen margarita. It could have been a little more on the frozen side but it had a great flavor as well. Watch out it will sneak up on you lol. Meh. Atmosphere: 4 Menu: 4 Service: 3.5 Gumbo: 2 Fried mac-n-cheese: 3.5 They need to rethink the butcher paper table covers. Don't serve my water in styrofoam. Don't serve my gumbo in a cardboard bowl. Cook the peppers, onions and okra a LOT longer for authentic Cajun Gumbo. And season it like Cajun Gumbo. Very, very bland. Also, heat up that gumbo. Mine came out luke-warm, at best. Put salt and pepper and hot sauce on the table. Don't make me get up and wait to ask for it at the service counter while my already cold gumbo gets colder. The place is super cool and really clean, especially the bathrooms. I like the handwashing sink at the end of the hallway. Great wine selection. Lots of TVs, all with sports on. (Good) Excellent location. I will try it again. Shouldn't be too hard to add a star to my next review. Gonna try the crawfish and an adult beverage. read more

Went here for a birthday dinner and was disappointed with the food. I was so excited to eat some crab legs! I got 2 claws, 1 leg , a bunch of shrimp and chunks of garlic for $75 ...should have gone to shell shack in alliance! They give you more bang for your buck and the taste is sooo much better. Came up for a weekend with my family and was super impressed with this place, from the yummy and fresh seafood to the amazing service! New spot on Hulen. You can tell they're still figuring giving out how to run a restaurant. The service was a little unorganized (starting from whe we got there). But I'm willing to look past that because the food was excellent. And our waitress was super nice and helpful. What I don't recommend is taking a 13 month old because it's so messy to eat. Lol. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! If I could rate it more than 5 stars, I would. Drove here from Austin with a very large group of friends and ordered a few sides of fried mac and fried calamari along with strawberry margaritas. The fried mac was SO delicious and the fried calamari came out hot and crispy and full of flavor. Margaritas hit the spot. We also ordered a 10 pounds of King Crab Legs and 20 pounds of crawfish. We thought we would have a order more since there was so many of us, but the portions were HUGE! The flavor was out of this world and I can easily say this was some of the best crawfish i've EVER tasted. The service was awesome and the employees were all so kind and helpful. The food was great. The staff was nice. But I don't think I can go back because of the amount of waste produced from one meal. Everything was single-use...too much plastic, styrofoam, and paper. Delicious! I won't be driving to Arlington anymore for my seafood boils. Had the #2 and the shrimp was cooked perfectly, the crawfish were huge and the sauce delicious. I got the Medium Spice all mixed sauce and it was delicious, if a bit salty but that's what the doc ordered! Also got the garlic noodles which is a fav of mine when I go to Arlington and this did not disappoint though they use spaghetti noodles over the flat egg the other place uses (better mouthfeel). Service and food were great. But our experience was not so great when none of the employees had on masks properly (all on their chins) and there was 0 social distancing. But what made it worse was my boyfriend and I ordered 2 margaritas. A strawberry one for me and a mango for my boyfriend (I am allergic to mango). When she brought us the drinks she said "when you have me you never get what you order but you'll like it" she would not tell us which was which and insisted on us trying it even after I repeatedly told her I was allergic to mango she said "you won't break out in hives. Went there for the first time my Fiance and I. We placed and order to go. When we got our order we asked for butter and lemon on the side as every other sea food restaurant serves automatically and they guy working in the front stated that it was already in the mixture. we asked for extra and he made an argument about it. I consider myself to have great taste when it comes to consuming crawfish and other seafood, it pains me to say that this place was incredibly awful when it comes to crawfish and the shrimp I had from there. The crawfish taste like they were freezer burnt and the god awful seasoning that they use to try to cover up the freezer burnt taste made the taste even worst. The shrimp was salty and no flavor I guess that was because of the spice they use to cove up that awful taste as well the shrimp was so bad my dog wouldn't even eat them and she likes seafood. I but the shrimp in her bowl and she ate everything but the shrimps. The sausage was not good, and the corn was not cooked thoroughly enough to even get a good taste. So bye Felicia so much for this place, and I had been dying to try it what a let down. it's like a bad movies that you just can't get out of your head once you saw it, you saw it (I know we all have one of those movies locked into the brain for whatever reason). I do appreciate Ashley the person that waited on me, she was the only bright spot in this whole experience. I spent almost $40 bucks on this bad experience. I think it down right shameful to spend that kind of money on freezer burnt products from a restaurant any restaurant what ever happened to fresh? and if you can't do fully fresh, certainly don't do freezer burnt, this will only lead to more disappointed customer and maybe a lawsuit. However, from this point on I will just stick to boiling my own seafood. Being a New Orleans native now living in Fort Worth I know how crawfish are suppose to taste and I know for doggone sure they are not suppose to taste anything like that. Maybe they went to Walmart or some other store where they have the frozen crawfish in a bag brought a few bags and thought oh if i just throw some seasoning on them I can give it a good taste, that's not how it works buddy, in order to give crawfish great flavor they have to be fresh otherwise all you are doing is just warming up already cooked crawfish, and everybody knows you can't add flavor to already cooked crawfish, no matter how hard you try. I guess the solace is that this place don't claim to be referencing itself to anything that has to with New Orleans or Louisiana, because that reference would make a lot of Louisiana people very upset. I was excited to see this seafood boil going in, and we've been looking for that open sign every time we drove by. Being this far from the gulf, seafood can be a little hit or miss, but this place really sets itself apart with the sauce for their boil. It's nice and spicy/garlicy. We got the medium heat and it's spicy enough to leave your lips tingling without being so hot you need to power through. I tried the boil with shrimp, crawfish and snow crab and enjoyed everything. The hushpuppies are good, but order a side of the sauce that comes with their shrimp (maybe it's their version of a remolaude), the tartar sauce isn't made in-house (it's Ken's though, so not like it's bad, the other one was just better). read more
