We come to this location all the time when we want some brunch from good old Crepevine. I've been a fan for as as I can remember and this location never disappoints. We've ordered a bunch of different things on their menu before, but our go tos are usually the Pacific Sandwich, Bari Pasta, and the El Dorado Burger. Their portions are huge and usually come with salad and/or fries. For dessert, I recommend the Sunset crepe, which has Nutella, strawberries, and bananas topped with whipped cream and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can also try their freshly squeezed orange juice and carrot juice to pair with your meal. I also love their hot chocolate as an extra treat in the winter time. All the staff have been very friendly and easy to communicate with. I've had no issues with this location and have been visiting every few weeks to get their delicious food. Literally one of my favorite restaurants. We come for the Philly Crepe and it is absolutely delicious. The fries and salad that come on the side are perfect, too. 10/10 meal. Wanted to give this place a try since I've passed by a few in the area. I would describe it as a casual breakfast place and reminds me of Dennys and IHOP. It's definitely worth a try, they serve big portions. Service was great prompt and quick as I was in a rush. I liked the spicy cornbread but would add more spice to make it spicier since I have a high level of tolerance. the waiters were extremely accommodating and nice, providing exactly what we needed. it was also a nice place to dine at, with simple outdoor seating in the center of the bustling downtown, so that was a big plus. however, the food could use some improvement. in my side, it was a little my fault because i was expecting some great Alfredo pasta but then again, this was a crepe place. the pasta was extremely bland, not worth the $17 and it tasted 90% butter and 10% parmesan. so that wasn't amazing. the fries were pretty good but not filling. overall, great service and place, but the food- especially the Alfredo pasta- needs a lot of improvement for it to be worth its hefty price. read more

Ordered takeout today around noon which was a Bangkok salad and steak sandwhich. The Bangkok salad was good on its own but the bread it came with was pretty stale and the chicken was very dry. The steak sandwhich was good with nice and crispy fries. But the side salad that it came with was very watery. I went on a Wednesday morning and there was a nice ambiance of breakfasters there. The girl at the front was super nice and tried to help me find something on the menu that had no gluten or dairy. (Their gluten free crepes have dairy). I ended up getting the tofu scramble with corn tortillas on the side:) Staff were all professional, pleasant, and kind. Today, I ate here for the second time with a friend. The restaurant is a nice local favorite spot. Located on a popular street made for variety of restaurants, this is one has a focus on breakfast, but there is much more. Today I met a friend as there is outdoor seating. The tables are distanced and there are open-sided (allows good air flow) coverings so there is shade or sunny seating options. It would help for distancing purposes if the ordering was done at the table or move the registers to the front area so people are not standing in line in the front indoor area where seating once was (and will return again). This would reduce indoor closeness (even with the 6ft apart stickers or near others when indoor seating is back. The food is good. Today I had the Santa Rosa Scramble. The eggs were not wet or dried, so just right. The veggies were fresh and plentiful. Chopped potatoes accompanying were also fresh, not burned, dry, or raw. Well season. Ice tea is my go to always. Appreciate that glass of water was put on the table from the start automatically. Staff was numerous, everyone moving busily to attend to all the customers. Second good experience in the books. My personal go to's- For breakfast, I have tried their Gluten-free pancakes and was really impressed, because I loathe gluten-free. This was impressive, the French toast named La Suisse" is par excellence. Hey hey..you like my french accent"? qui qui! Any of the Crepes are out of this world, and can go against any other place that makes Crepes in the peninsula. And you can bet your crepe on that! The Salads are the bomb!! So the Bangkok salad is great and then the Greek, but merely my opinion. Alright, enough said, onward to the FOOD of the day for moi !! Today we had ourselves some burgers!! First of all, WE sat outside ( duh of course) on these big arse benches. Of course helpful for us that have gained some poundage during lockdown! Ha! We all decided to have the EL Barron burgers..cause WE LOVE IT!! :) Please take note, if you are a burger lover So the beef if grilled to your liking, the seasoning of the beef is light, however, you would not know you are eating ground chuck, its tender and nice and smoked. Next, this 1/2 lb. ground chuck patty is served with awesome grilled red onions, a good portion of grilled mushrooms, sliced avocado, Jack/ cheddar cheeses. SO can we give it up to Crepvine!! To the cooks and to the kind and accommodating waiting staff...applaud!! Located in the south part of the peninsula, just minutes away south from Palo Alto on Castro Street, the new University Avenue of dining. If you are coming down from the N Peninsula it is a quick jaunt of 20 minutes from Burlingame and San Mateo, get off the Shoreline Exit and head West, and follow the signs to downtown Mt View. If you are headed from the SoutBay say from the N part of San Jose taking 101 a quick 20-25 minute drive up from Downtown San Jose, about a 45 minute no traffic heading North from South San Jose. Make Crepvine your quick casual dining choice. Stroll along the lovely streets of downtown Mountain View, savor the many flavors of this peninsula gem. Nestled in the heart of Downtown Mountain View, I always feel calm when I eat here. Service: due to the process of how this restaurant works, the service isn't the best. Basically, you order and pay at the counter, find a table, eat, and then leave. With the nature of the high turnover of diners, the staff isn't there to necessarily be friendly and get to know you like at typical sit-down restaurants. As long as you know this going in, there's no problem. That being said, the staff is quick and efficient. Food: I took photos of my what my friends ordered as well to showcase more of the food. I ordered the Cote d' Azur Benedict under the Benedictions section of the menu. This dish consists of two English muffins underneath some smoked salmon, spinach, red onions, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. It also came with potatoes on the side. Overall, the dish was quite tasty. I was a little worried about the texture of the hollandaise sauce, as I wasn't sure if it had broken since it wasn't very smooth. I also tried a small piece of the side of my friend's La Suisse French Toast, which was very tasty. Precautions: I really like how the restaurant was able to expand its outdoor dining into the street to allow for more spacing and dining. Especially considering how warm it is in South Bay, it was nice being able to sit outside and enjoy the sun. As long as you don't mind outside dining and not having a personal server, this option is a great choice!! I stumbled across this restaurant while walking and noticed how busy they were. I figured they must serve some pretty awesome food! Although the line was long, it moved quickly. I had the El Paso Scramble and was very pleased. The crepe was pretty good, but in the future I'll order less syrup and double ice cream, no whip cream! The only downfall is the lack of attentiveness of the servers. We have been coming to Crepevine since a long time and have always loved how nice the staffs are and how incredibly inviting the menu is. We have tried almost everything on the menu and all their dishes are delicious and what an amazing portion. However something changed this Saturday Nov, 9. We went in the evening and we ordered food. My husband had the Bombay crepe and I opted for the Palermo pasta. My kid and I shared because this portion (again) is amazing. We enjoyed every bit and I still packed a To-go. At around midnight or so I started experiencing the worst possible stomach cramps and soon I was throwing up. Nothing calmed by stomach and very soon I was throwing up acid build up. I came to know that my kid also had the same symptoms but thankfully not that worse since she hardly ate at the place. My husband did mention that he too was feeling sick and uneasy in his stomach. We did share the Palermo at the table and not Bombay crepe. I immediately threw out the remaining Palermo as I was extremely revolted at the thought of it. My Sunday was ruined and as I am writing this Monday morning I still feel not so much better. Dear Crepevine, please inspect what went wrong. I saw many other tables with the same dish that day but not sure if it was an isolated incident. Whatever it was, I am not sure if I can muster the courage to go here again. read more

There was a line behind me and the tables seemed pretty full so I'm not quite sure what happens when all the outdoor seating gets full. There are no reservations. I ordered the Pattaya savory crepe with sweet potato fries and the purple stack pancakes. The portion sizes are pretty large so one entree is more than enough but I got the pancakes to share with the group/ The Pattaya crepe was delicious and everything was well cooked. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy but I do wish they came with some sort of dipping sauce. I wouldn't get the pancakes again, only because they weren't anything particularly special. They are oatmeal based which means they're slightly healthier than regular pancakes. This is a nice brunch spot and since it is a crepe place definitely go for their crepes when you order! read more

Menu has good variety, it is written out on a huge chalkboard behind the cashier. Big portion size. Priced just right I believe. We ordered the Philly crepe, and my buddy had the breakfast buritto. Wow! This place gives such big portions! This is my first time going to the one in mountain view (I've been to the one in Palo Alto many times). Service at both is very fast and everyone is helpful and nice. I typically get Benedict for brunch, I prefer the salmon over ham. Eggs come out perfectly poached.. never over cooked! The potatoes are a little pale but not overly salty and have a nice herb/rosemary taste. I definitely like how they still do service even though you pay when ordering. It wasn't crowded on this visit; tables were readily available, a big plus. We ordered the Ham & Cheese crepe and a Tuscany crepe. It came with your choice of side salad, potatoes OR fries. We ordered potatoes with our crepes and to our surprise, we got both the potatoes and side salad. I thought my Tuscany crepe was delicious...a good balance of chicken & pesto, not overly cheesy. I walked in and saw exactly what I wanted for breakfast, Corn Beef Hash. It called to me, "pssttt, over here. You're going to want me today". Corn Beef Hash is a benchmark plate at any breakfast restaurant so I had to answer the call and give it a go. When I ordered I asked for a side of sliced jalapeños and they obliged, no charge. I asked for hot sauce and they showed me a table with an assortment of bottled hot and also pepper sauces. We sat outside on this pleasant morning. The restaurant was half full and there were three wait persons on staff. Within 3 minutes of sitting my jalapeños arrived and 5-7 minutes later our beautiful plates arrived! If you're hangry, this is the place to come. We got our orders fast and perfectly prepared The two poached eggs on top were perfect. The corned beef was real, not canned. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and the cheese! I forgot there was cheddar cheese. Sourdough toast and a water. This was a great meal, hearty, savory and filling. One very cool thing is their salt is flakes not granular. So fancy. I really like this place. Everyone has an off day so those that had experienced an off day I recommend you give them another go, this place is awesome. And the Staff was awesome.
