Had to grab another and couldn't scan that one either and proceeded to tell me they couldn't sell me the bottle. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by those in my fellow service industry. The cashier I was waiting for had tried to get me rung through by her coworker because the transaction prior to mine had complications. The other cashier, I am not sure of her name "Nania?" ignored her coworkers plea to help ring me up due to my long wait. My daughter hadn't been feeling well and throwing up. We rushed her to the ER and was there all night. I walked over with my son at ten am and the hospital had failed to call in the prescription. I talked to Jose and Ali to explain the situation. They checked the computer and vm. They suggested what I could to do to expedite it I called the hospital and told them to call it in. Once they did Jose and Ali jumped on it and got it all handled as they could see my other child with me was getting restless Not only this time but everytime I have been in this duo as well as others that work there are incredibly fast warm proficient and excellent at what they can do. These guys need to make up their minds about coupons. One day they say they'll take coupons even if they're expired. Next time they tell me it only applies to $ off coupons and not % off coupons. Then today I'm told I can't use expired $ off coupons. Considering everything here is super expensive it doesn't make sense for me to come here anymore if they won't accept coupons. May I suggest that when you enter the store you veer to the right because when you go through the cosmetic section a security sensor goes off says that they are watching you.This is beyond annoying if you were just trying to make your way to the back of the store and have no intention of stealing makeup. This is one of those little mini CVS drug stores. It is located next to a Trader Joes, & I usually don't find what I'm looking for in this store. I usually give up. The pharmacy is completely understaffed. Don't even bother calling. If you have to renew a prescription or get a prescription refill I highly recommend just going in and speaking to them directly. Gave them three stars due to the fact that every time I tried calling I was placed on hold for more than 20 minutes and even when I spoke to a pharmacy team member about a request, that request was left unfulfilled. There are just some things not even good customer service can save you from. One of those things is a store that smells like old, musty, dank, wet dog hair. Yep. It was not even raining outside! The crazy thing is, usually your nose will adjust to a smell (even unfavorable ones), but my nose was not feeling this. It was STAYED THERE. You know that smell where you are afraid of it getting into your clothes and people thinking it is you? Yes, that smell. Another bad thing about this location is the terrible parking. You are battling with people from various businesses, including the customers of Trader Joe's. The only redeeming factor of this location has to be the guys who were working there. They were super nice and I will say that I am happy with free parking, but I don't think I will return to this location until they figure out where that awful smell is coming from and fix it. read more

This review is specifically for Krystal at the Pharmacy. I actually tried switching to mail order prescriptions through my insurance company (just because I can get more meds in one order). Problem was that I had a preference in generic manufacturer-- for whatever reason, the mail order company and their call center reps just couldn't get it right. After four weeks and three long and painful phone calls with the company and another three with my dr office, I decided to give up. I called CVS to see if they could help me fill my preferred-generic brand prescription. Based on the mess the mail order company made with my insurance billing, filling my prescription wasn't straightforward. However, Krystal went out of her way to find a solution to my unique situation. She even followed up with me shortly after our call to confirm my order would be ready for pickup within 30 minutes! I was elated-- to think, a month of painstaking back and forth calls and having to play middle man with that company and my physician, and she fixed everything in a matter of 10 minutes. This is by far one of the worse places of employment I've ever come across which explains my exit. The manager is an incompetent sad creature with a hostile personality. There is lots of favoritism among the senior staff members. The company expects you to join the union and pay a fee of $180.00 and $15 monthly for absolutely nothing. For a part time employee it is not ideal. They are all miserable minions working for a greedy corporation that does not but says they do care about the public. There is no security so all employees are tasked to follow around people who come into the store to steal items meanwhile doing 3-4 jobs as well for a pay-rate of only one job description. Not to mention they do abusive scheduling without asking if the employee is available that day but you are expected to not question their toxic work culture and just upsell their carepass to costumers which is in fact a scam. Most costumers have come to complaint of how they got talked into joining without realizing they have to pay a monthly fee of $5 simply for a $10 off promo for joining. This carepass is IMPOSSIBLE to cancel because they are only available in east coast time zone on the cvs hotline. Coworkers are very toxic they have their own clicks and groups to exclude new comers. The whole time I was working there I felt excluded and uncomfortable and having the sensation my boss did not like me for personal reasons. I did my job well but seemed like he just didn't like me and talked behind my back. In many occasions I've caught him and other managers talking about me. Not to mention when I got hired I was promised I would be able to join the pharmacy tech program they offer to employees but after a couple of weeks I had to ask regarding this and all he said was that the program is closed. read more

I come to this CVS all the time, and it's usually to go to the pharmacy. Their pharmacy is definitely top rate! They are ridiculously fast, often times filling my prescriptions same day (within 10-20 minutes). The pharmacist and staff are all SUPER helpful and very friendly. The down side to this store are of course the parking, this lot is simply too small for all the stores there, particularly the Trader Joes next door. The photo department doesn't exactly know what they are doing either. On the bright side, the store is usually well stocked and the staff are really helpful and knowledgeable. I also like that they have a Chase ATM in the store, very convenient. Overall this is a good CVS, and compared to others, its a little above average. read more

Absolutely terrible customer experience at this location. Twice now I have come in to try and get a flu shot. The first time after waiting in line for almost 30 minutes had the pharmacist pretty much yell at me that she was going on lunch and I would have to come back. Tried another location and at that point the wait was over an hour. Then I decided to make an appointment and used the online system to do so thinking that would solve the issue. Well turns out I was wrong because even though I had an appointment notification which I printed out and brought with me to showing the date/time, they apparently weren't open for another two hours! Fine if that's the case, but incredibly frustrating that I made an appointment only to show up for it and be told they couldn't honor it. Such an incredible waste of time! Poor customer service, apathetic staff, and a clearly mismanaged appointment system. I've had enough and am pulling all my prescriptions out of this CVS to take elsewhere--will not return. read more

I just had the best experience shopping at this CVS location! First, I picked up a prescription from the pharmacy, and it wasn't going to be simple due to the need to transfer the Rx from a different pharmacy. I have had trouble in the past with this. JOSE was absolutely the kindest, most helpful pharmacy technician I have EVER encountered. He set the star example of what CVS would want an employee to be. JOSE was timely and efficient, while giving 5 star customer service! JOSE should be a trainer to all other pharmaceutical technicians. That's not all! I needed to purchase other items, and when I arrived to the checkout counter, OSCAR was there and greeted me with the most genuine smile I have seen in a long time. Oscar had such a warm presence. His tone was so nice. He asked if I had found everything that I was looking for, and also asked if there was anything else he could help me with. I guess I just don't encounter customer service such as this anymore.....I was so impressed with JOSE and OSCAR. I am going to call the cooperate office and make sure that JOSE and OSCAR get the recognition they so truly deserve. I will definitely be a repeat customer at this location! THANK YOU JOSE! Transferred one prescription to Rite Aid and in the process of transferring another after CVS yet again failed to refill it. I called in the refill over a week ago. When I called today to check the status, the pharmacy's response was that they're still processing it. Still processing it? After a week? How long does it take to process a prescription? According to CVS, apparently, it takes long enough that the patient could die in the meantime, waiting for their refill. When my next prescriptions are due for refill, guess where I will be taking them? If you guessed anywhere but CVS, you guessed right. read more

Returned to the store I did not have the receipt with me since was two days after the purchase, but I show the store manager Maria the statement from my credit card showing the store and date of the purchase. I tried to get an even exchange but she refused, saying there is nothing she can do about it. I went to a different CVS and the exchanged without hassle. First time coming to this CVS location, and my experience was just terrible. Going inside, one of the workers stared at me for a good while, and I was expecting a hello from her, but no. Honestly, I didn't care about that. As soon as I was about leave her sight, she comes out with a "hello welcome". Okay. I got my things that I needed. And headed towards checkout. I got there and so no line. And I waited where I thought I should wait while the other three cashiers finished helping the other customers. One of the customers started having problems and so the cashier I'm assuming couldn't handle the situation, so he asked the help of his coworker who had just finished helping a customer with his checkout. Took them a while to both handle a simple return. I didn't mind the wait. But as soon as the lady was done helping the other cashier out, she called on the next person who was next, and out of nowhere, someone cuts me off and I told both of them that I was next. Of course the person who cut me off acted as if she didn't hear me, and the cashier, a lady with dyed blond hair who "greeted me from the start" ignored what happened. Pretty safe to say I was pissed. But I wasn't in a hurry so I let it go. And then once again, the the other cashier, who was having trouble in the beginning, called on the next person and someone else cut me and another guy who was waiting in line. I was just furious by then and I told the cashier that I was next. All he did was gave me an apologetic smile and continued to help the person who cut us off. The only one employee I found who did good at his job was a guy with a small ponytail, who helped me out in the end. Unfortunately I didn't get their names. A staff member asked if I needed help in the make-up area and I said, yes, I needed some plum colored eye shadow. She showed me one, which I didn't want, and then ignored me as I was left to my own. This store needs more clerks; they are probably on a time constraint to get the products stocked. No one has ever asked if they could help me before. I come here because it's next to TJ's, which I love. This CVS needs more staff behind the RX counter. While they and the pharmacists are friendly they are over worked. I been coming to this CVS for so many years , even when I have a nearby CVS I still come here but today this woman wearing a burgundy sweat shirt at the register I never seen before was so rude in locking the door while I was checking my purchase receipt for not even half minute was very rude with nasty attitude and said I have to wait to get out because she waited for me . So I have to wait until she finish with the other customer ? I understand was closing time but nasty attitude people shouldn't be in customer service ,because that ruins the reputation of any business. This is my first review with one star , her attitude toward to me was like I have to wait the guard to open up the cell in jail .
