    Easter Brunch desserts
    Mirna P.

Wow wow wow! We attended the Cypress Restaurant Easter Brunch 2025 and it was soooooo yummy! You have to make a reservation ahead of time to get a spot! The spread was just perfect! They had cold salads, pasta salads, classic sides like eggs, bacon, sausage, charcuterie board, prime rib, smoked turkey, dessert table. Ian absolutely sure I missed a whole bunch of other delicious foods! The wine and the inside decor is all part of the aesthetics here. We are going to make it a tradition by coming by every Easter after church. This place just has the nicest servers and the best quality food. By the way the Thursday lunch special is a must try! Chicken pot pie......it's outta this world delicious w a flaky crust!

The Volcano Pork shank and the Veal Schnitzel

The food was amazing, the service was excellent... I had the Veal Schnitzel with brown butter spaetzel and a braised red cabbage that was simply amazing!! My BFF had the volcano pork shank (so very tasty and tender - no knife required) with the creamiest melt in your mouth parmesan risotto... it was a difficult choice there were several items that were extremely tempting!! It's a welcoming little venue that is cozy and full of ambience... They also had a great wine list as well!! Bon appetite!!

We always love grabbing lunch at Cypress Grille. The waitstaff is always friendly and quite attentive with out being bothersome. The atmosphere is usually pretty loud, but the decor is very inviting and we usually ask to sit closer to the kitchen where there are fewer tables. Highly recommend our favorite, Crispy Calamari. The Daily Panini is nice as well. Excellent wine list and the desserts are fabulous! Highly recommend this restaurant. Check out their daily specials.

    Thursdays Smoked Prime Rib

This place is AMAZING!!! Everything is cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Great Happy Hour at the bar which includes 1/2 off glasses of wine with 40% off bottles every Wednesday. Kelly is Fantastic and very knowledgeable with parings as well. The Thursday smoked Prime Rib is the best in town. They even have ice cold draft beer. Full Bar Is Coming Soon!!

I made reservations here for my mother-in-law's 75th birthday, and it was our first time dining at this restaurant. We ordered the shank with creamy fettuccine. The pork was cooked to perfection--tender and flavorful. However, the pasta was quite bland and could have benefited from some seasoning or salt. The addition of sweet bell peppers did improve the taste slightly. My husband had the burger, which he described as fine but nothing special. On the other hand, the calamari and ahi tuna we ordered as appetizers were excellent. The service was average. We had to request a refill for our Arnold Palmer, which should have been more attentive.

I love the industrial vibe of the place. It was a rainy Saturday and the place wasn't particularly busy, so the service was good! Our server was friendly and knowledgable about the menu, and the food, while small in portion size (they are tapas, after all) was delicious. We started with the tostadas de chorizo and the house sangria. Both were super tasty. Then we ordered the chistorra (Spanish sausage) and pan con tomate, and finally we shared the albondiga...a giant meatball that was perfection. Can't wait to go back to Boerne and have some more Spanish goodness!

Our friendly young male server suggested a new Portuguese beer that just came out. It comes in a 4-pack, 6.8 oz bottles with convenient pull-tabs & on a bucket of ice. We went for it! Not bitter, light bodied & easy to drink. We savored the ambiance in the outdoor patio as it FINALLY cooled down to the low 70s! We were given water in a carafe and 2 glasses. I'm sensitive to the taste of municipal tap water so I should've asked if it was filtered water? You'll have to ask for ice cubes if you want ice. Our tapas were the scallops ceviche tostadas(2 tortillas holding them) & a flatbread with Serrano jamon, sliced pears, melted brie, onions & drizzled balsamic glaze. Hubs liked it but I thought it was lukewarm & skimpy on the ham. The cheese wasn't gooey & cooled off. Was slightly gamey to me. He loved his scallop ceviche tostada. The restaurant wasn't very occupied but our server said it gets pretty packed in the evening esp. when there's live music. More people came in when we were almost finished eating. We ate outside because they must have just disinfected & mopped the floors because the inside had a super strong chemical smell. Lots of metal tables and chairs in the patio.

Cork & Keg is one of those rare gems that somehow marries the warmth of the hill country with what is often snobbery among wine-os. It manages to be welcoming to the newly initiated (i.e. just 21) and the more seasoned patrons, providing something for everyone with a selection that boasts excellent vintages from both near and far. If you're lucky enough to sit at the bar you may find yourself with one of the regulars open for good chat over a glass of their favorite on the list, or inspired to try something new. Don't be afraid to ask the staff their recommendations, as they are both knowledgeable and friendly, making the wine list as approachable as they are. Don't be afraid to go for your own custom flight as there are too many good wines to miss out on. The best part is, if you're not a wine fan, they have other offerings including beer, sake, and mimosas! It's my favorite stop when I'm in town and I've added new favorites to the list as well as snagged bottles to take back out of state for others to enjoy.

I have tried many of them and have been very satisfied. Don't waste your precious time and money at Richter Cork and Keg!! Went by for dinner the other night and had a tremendously horrible dining experience! Our server was very rude to a Lady in our party. "Needs serious training" would be an understatement! This guy had memory problems like forgetting what we had asked just minutes before. The arrogance was something a child would display perhaps. The Value of the food was ridiculously LOW... We had difficulty simply chewing the grilled Mahi-Mahi. Besides the overcooked food and tiny portions we also got food poisoning as a result of the terrible mistake to go to this place. The server and the restaurant rate about 1.5 out of 10. This may sound harsh to some; but at an average of $85 per person to waste time, money and threat of health to simply go out for a nice dinner, is an easy call to make when eating out in Boerne! If you go to places for Ambiance alone it's 6 out of 10...that's as much praise as is deserved.

Great Vineyard, Frustrating Food Experience…read more This was our first visit to Singing Waters Vineyard, and the property itself is absolutely darling. The setting is beautiful, the staff at the vineyard were friendly and welcoming, and the wine was tasty. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and time with friends. However, the food truck experience was a big letdown and honestly the main reason we're hesitant to return. I paid $12 for a hot dog combo (pictured)--just a single hot dog and a small bag of chips. That price felt excessive for what we received. The kids' burger was $8 and was tiny...about the size of a quarter dollar with melted cheese and chips. The value just wasn't there. What made things worse was the service. Our friends ordered the exact same food right before us and received theirs much earlier. We waited about 40 minutes longer for the same order. It was frustrating, and it did make us wonder if my earlier comment about the hot dog price being extreme played a role. The kids were all still hungry. The vineyard itself is lovely and worth visiting, but I strongly recommend reconsidering the food truck setup...either pricing, portions, or vendor choice. The food experience didn't match the quality of the venue, and it definitely affected our overall impression.
