Fantastic espresso martinis. Great eggplant parm. Service is great and reliable. Ambiance is gold colors and brick.

Ristorante Da Gennaro in Little Italy is a true gem! The atmosphere is warm and classic, with a charming Old-World Italian vibe that makes you feel right at home in the heart of Mulberry Street. The current owner doesn't want you to know but, originally this place name was Umberto's Clam House-- here was the place where "Crazy" Joe Gallo was tragically killed in 1972--. The location is now occupied by Ristorante Da Gennaro and they literally hate when people ask about that historical fact. Anyways....!!! The staff is friendly, attentive, and welcoming, which adds so much to the experience. We ordered a cheese pizza and a branzino, and both were excellent. The pizza was perfectly baked with a thin, crisp crust and just the right amount of cheese--simple, fresh, and delicious, exactly how an authentic Italian pizza should be. The branzino was a standout--beautifully presented, tender, and flavorful, with that delicate freshness that shows it was cooked with real care. Overall, Da Gennaro delivers on both food and atmosphere, making it a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the Little Italy experience. Highly recommend for authentic Italian dining in NYC.

Food was decent and the restaurant is conveniently located in little Italy, however prices were genuinely outrageous for the portions and service you receive.

This food transported us back to Italy. It was so delicious and fresh. service was quick, servers were very friendly. It was a wonderful day so we sat outside and enjoyed people watching. The area can get very crowded but it was a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back!! 10/10 recommend for a casual bite to eat

This place was delicious!! Not much to say besides the food was so good and the pictures will show for itself. I'm a weirdo and love pesto with every bite and they gave me a huge plate of pesto and I even took it home...to RI! The meatballs were so smooth and yummy...I ended up ordering another plate when we finished the first one. Their cannelloni had the perfect seasoning with red sauce. Service was wonderful. They're very quick and attentive! I had crème brûlée come out for a birthday song and that was the only dish I didn't care. Will definitely have to give them another visit when in Manhattan! The street reminded me of Atwells Ave back at home.

Such a lovely afternoon for our party of three to enjoy some coffee and homemade cannolis. The cannolis were so delightful with a perfect sweetness of the filling. The service was friendly and helpful. Next time will try to have a meal here when I'm back in the area again someday

Omg, the best pasta!!!!! By far my favorite meal I had in NYC. The cutest cozy restaurant was the perfect way to spend the first night of our trip and to celebrate my fiends birthday. The hot rum cider was the perfect cocktail for a colder night, and our server was very nice and provided great recommendations. He was both attentive yet we had time to enjoy our dinner to ourselves. The pistachio gelato was top tier! Highly recommend this restaurant when visiting Little Italy!

The veal osso bucco was so tender and flavorful, I highly recommend this dish! The patio seating is lovely as the restaurant is in a great location on the corner and a lively area. Service was flawless and an affogato is the perfect end to a beautiful night.

Behind the curtain is a fridge .. where we were sat.

The food is delicious. The prices are typical for the area. Reservations are offered online, but not honored. Our reservation was at 7, we finally got a table at 8:30. We were instructed to "come back" but we were not checked in by any means... so wasn't really assuring. When we were given our table, we were seated next to the refrigerator which was covered by a curtain in their basement area...so yes, we were asked to "get up" a few times so the wait staff can access the refrigerator. Eventually, I asked for a new table. No apologies or any sort of compensation was offered. Frankly, I was offended.

The restaurant is beautiful! The lobster ravioli was full of flavor. I highly recommend this dish! The service was fast the food came out quickly!

Deliciousssss! Steamed muscles were good enough to drink the leftover sauce right out of the bowl. I had the chicken parm for my meal, it was define. Friends had papparadelle campagnola and paccheri gennaro all rave reviews! Can't wait to go back.

The Logistics & Ordering The menu is expansive, spanning three screens with an incredible variety of bagel types, cream cheese flavors, meats, and cheeses. Not as good as the one I sampled in Copenhagen, Denmark. But it's worthy of your time and curiosity. Their sugar twist would pair nicely with a black coffee. Sometimes, it's the combination of your items that makes the meal memorable and delightful. One suggestion I would offer for the establishment is to offer to warm the pastries. That would further elevate the experience of your guest. Inside is small. You can fill a few tables and seating, but not a large party. Best to take away and enjoy on the road to the park.
