Delicious food in a heart of little Italy. Nice ambience with Italian music. Love the relaxing atmosphere in here. The mussels were really delicious.

We decided to go to a prefix NYE dinner @pugliarestaurantny. It started with MULTIPLE rounds of appetizers, then some entrees, and finally an assortment of desserts. The appetizers were really good and the zucchini fries and house salad were exceptional. The entrees and dessert were a total miss, not tasty. With the prefix menu it also included unlimited wine, soft drinks and juices which was pretty great for the price. As part of the NYE celebrations they also had live music which was really fun for all!

This place is such a vibe! I can't believe it finally took me 3 years to come here. There is no woman's bathroom. I came for a friend's birthday. We each paid $75 for unlimited wine and a variety of food. I don't remember everything we got, but here's what I do remember: - Caesar salad - garlic bread - rigatoni - fried zucchini (?) - Chicken parm - dessert: assortment of cakes There were other birthdays and some engagements to celebrate. We were all in the main dining room. They sang to us, we all sang together, and of course stood on the tables! The food was pretty solid and you can't beat the price for the vibes and experience. I'd come back for a different occasion.

A big fan of the aycd wine-- at first, it didn't seem strong, but boy did it leave a number! Such friendly staff, not sure how they do this night in and out! Great food to pair alongside the wine and the live music was very fun. There were plenty of other Italian dishes, but the wine got to me first. Playing New York New York with wine is the greatest experience-- Cheers!

Very lively restaurant. Large group standing on tables and enjoying live music when we got there. House made wine, no cocktails. Did not enjoy my cavatelli pasta, flavorless and made my stomach hurt. Tiramisu was incredible mid. Big tables for large groups. Cute outdoor patio. Service was fine!

Puglia is a great Italian spot in the heart of Little Italy with a large and varied menu. It's a lively restaurant that offers live music, warm hospitality, and even better food. We visited on a Sunday night when the restaurant was packed due to a large school trip. Once they left, the place was completely empty until another big group arrived for a birthday party. It seems like Puglia is a popular spot for large gatherings, so I'd recommend making a reservation in advance. Reservations are done through Instagram DM, which is fine since they respond quickly and send a reminder on the day of your visit. Bread is served for the table with a smooth, flavorful butter that I couldn't stop eating. We also ordered the calamari, which was lightly battered, well-seasoned, and perfectly crispy. I got Puglia's famous vodka rigatoni with shrimp, and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was creamy, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the shrimp was a great addition. The portion was generous as well. I also tried a meatball, and I have to say, it might be one of the best I've ever had. We met the owner, who was incredibly sweet and even stopped by to wish my friend a happy birthday. Toward the end of our visit, the live music started playing, and while it was a bit loud, the energy was great, and everyone was having a great time--including us.

3.5/5 stars You are here to party and for the vibes above all else. It's a cramped space with limited bathrooms. There's live music in the corner that personalizes to birthdays and whichever celebrations. Service was okay. It was busy but it took a while to get more wine and water. The food was also okay. The dessert was disgusting though and almost inedible. The cheesecake was not cheesecake and the base was brown sugar hardened. The pasta lacked taste or also wasn't good. Eggplant also had no taste. It seemed like you were eating empty calories. Overall would not go back but happy my friend had a good time at her bachelorette

Absolutely a must go! The food was fantastic and the staff was amazing! The ambiance is so much fun! They start dancing and singing live around 7pm every night. Don't waste time reading too many reviews, just go and have the experience, it's worth it.

We had an amazing dinner here when we visited with our high school band trip. The singer was amazing, as was the food. I loved how it was decorated and the family style offerings we were able to share. I recommend this so much if you go to NYC and are in Little Italy. You may also be lucky enough to see a performance of the "Napkin Song"

Went here with my wife and a friend and had a great time! Food was served family style and I was very impressed at how tasty everything was. Service was friendly and responsive. It was initially a very relaxing atmosphere, albeit a little cramped. But we happened to be there on a live music night so it later became quite loud, but the unlimited wine quickly made that enjoyable.

The menu has plenty of variety across pastas, seafood, and cocktails, with some unique dishes that made the experience memorable. The drinks were a highlight, and the seafood options stood out the most for me. My Tipsy Tayke: The Fragola Fizz was juicy, fruity, and refreshing. The Forever Summer was another standout, with the smokiness of the mezcal blending really well with the fruit flavors without overpowering them. Both are easy recommendations depending on whether you want something fruity or a little more complex. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Seafood Ravioli Unique, flavorful, and packed with different seafood flavors. The ravioli itself was delicate and had a tendency to fall apart, but the flavor made up for it. Standout: Calamari Crispy, seasoned, and enjoyable. It had a slightly chewy texture, but I still found myself going back for more. The Carpaccio wasn't necessarily for me texture-wise, but I really enjoyed the greens and dressing that accompanied it. The garnish felt intentional and helped bring the dish together. The Pappardelle came with plenty of sauce but could have used more flavor overall. The complimentary bread was also tougher and chewier than I prefer. Desserts: The Lemon Sorbet was easily my favorite dessert. Bright, refreshing, and packed with real lemon flavor. The Mango Sorbet was another refreshing option with a smooth tropical sweetness. The Panna Cotta Cheesecake leaned closer to a mousse in texture and was definitely on the sweeter side. I especially enjoyed it with the cherry, which helped balance everything out. Service: Warm and attentive throughout the meal, fitting the inviting atmosphere. Plates From My Visit: Calamari Carpaccio Seafood Ravioli Pappardelle Lemon Sorbet Mango Sorbet Panna Cotta Cheesecake Fragola Fizz Forever Summer In Conclusion: A warm Chelsea Italian spot with strong cocktails, unique seafood dishes, and refreshing desserts. The Seafood Ravioli was the highlight of the savory side, but whatever you do, save room for that Lemon Sorbet. Stamped by Elajas

When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.

Reviews were promising so I was excited to try the food. I ordered the fusilli pesto pasta with a side of the garlic broccoli rabe. My pasta dish came with a small burrata on top. Instinctively I took a piece of that in to my mouth first and was met with the most rancid tasting cheese ever. The cheese was definitely not fresh and had a terrible smell on the outside. I moved this to the side to try the pasta which was honestly forgettable. There simply was not enough basil pesto in the dish, the sauce fell flat on taste and seasoning was nearly absent. The side of broccoli rabe was also so bad and forgettable. The stems were tough to chew, there was no salt and not a single speck of garlic in this dish. This is one of the priciest, grossest plates of pasta and vegetables I have ever had in the city. My friend ordered the eggs Florentine and said it was A-okay. The interior was completely packed, and the noise level was high enough for my smart watch to complain. To sample a bit of everything, we shared two orders of focaccia, four pastas, and one dessert. HOUSE-MADE FOCACCIA - 10 Super bouncy with a bit of chew, this was probably the best focaccia I've ever eaten. It came generously drizzled with olive oil and alongside chopped peppers drenched in even more olive oil, which added a nice little kick. We highly recommend starting with this. TAGLIATELLE - 27 Out of the four pastas, this was my absolute favorite. I love the thin yet chewy texture of the tagliatelle, and the bolognese sauce was rich and hearty. Finished with just the right amount of Parmigiano, both the pasta texture and sauce were sheer perfection. PICI 'CACIO E PEPE' - 23 This was such a simple pasta, yet so delicious. It was incredibly creamy and cheesy, with hints of fresh black pepper flavor that blew standard at-home black pepper grinders out of the water. Despite it being the simplest pasta of the night, I enjoyed it immensely. RIGATONI - 32 This pasta was simple yet slightly innovative, featuring sausage paired with a broccoli-based pesto. There was a slight bitterness that was polarizing among our group. While this wasn't my favorite pasta, I appreciated the creativity. PERCIATELLI NERO - 35 This dish packed in more components than just pasta and sauce: plenty of crab, tomatoes, and crispy breadcrumbs on top. However, the combination wasn't very memorable. None of the flavors really stood out, and it was my least favorite pasta of the night. OLIVE OIL CAKE - 14 Served with a pile of golden raisins and fancy whipped cream, this ended up being a bit of a miss. The raisins were a bit too sweet, and the cake's texture was uneven -- some bites were soft and moist, while others felt dry. A couple of others in my group also felt the same way. Overall, I'd give L'Artusi a 4.5/5; it was mostly hits with a couple of misses. The pasta portions are quite small. Since each dish is primarily carbs and sauce, I'd imagine you'll likely need an appetizer or a pasta and a half to leave full. Still, I'd definitely come back for the focaccia, tagliatelle, and the cacio e pepe.

A quick, polite confirmation would've gone a long way, but instead it felt dismissive and unwelcoming. For a restaurant with their reputation, having someone speak to guests like that over a simple call really doesn't help the image.
