    Grilled Fresh Fish Tacos

Food: Their fish was so fresh. However, the sauces were too sweet and overpowering. Service: Very friendly staff. Atmosphere: Lots of food trucks to pick from and plenty of outside tables. Very casual and perfect for large parties and families.

Ordered the fish and chips - allegedly you can swap chips with rice. Everything was great - batter was definitely seasoned but perhaps there was a tad more beer or something else that gave it a bitter aftertaste You also get tartar sauce, ketchup and Mac salad (the salad is pretty good)

This is in a cute food truck area with good music and it wasn't too busy on a weekday evening. There were plenty of tables to sit at. The staff who helped me was friendly and it only took about 10 minutes to get my order. Food- Jumbo coconut shrimp plate ($15.95)- It came with 5 shrimps, mac salad, and rice. The mac salad was refreshing and the consistency wasn't thick. I really enjoyed this since it was more on the lighter side. The shrimp was crisp, but I do wish the rice was a little more fluffy/sticky. The lime it came with was a nice balance to the sweet chili sauce on the shrimp! I'd definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

This place is delicious. It's in the food truck area with tables and shade. You order at the kiosk and the service is fast. Very good fish tacos, pulled pork, and burger. With so many choices in the food truck area, this is a great choice!

Always our first stop after landing on Maui. Food truck right across the street from Costco. Their fresh catch is always excellent. Also have exact same food truck in Kihei.

Tried Da Nani Pirates while checking out a group of food trucks, and it was a solid stop. I went for the shrimp and fish tacos--nothing too special on their own, but the sauce really pulled it all together and gave it a nice kick of flavor. Ordering is done through a kiosk, which was quick and convenient. Once it's ready, they call your name for pickup. The truck is parked in a shared food truck lot, so it's a great spot if you're with a group or want to sample different cuisines. Worth trying if you're in the area and craving seafood tacos with a flavorful twist.

Why don't they auto apply this?

Disappointed that they don't appear to want to reach out to the customer and all I get are automated text notifications about specials trying to ask me to visit their business. There is a big opportunity for this business to better connect with the customer when it comes to feedback given (which is a gift)

It's well priced and a good alternative to some of the pricey spots in the shopping center. They also seem to cook or prepare to order since we waited a little while. Unfortunately, we had to take our food elsewhere because the picnic tables were filthy and sticky and looked like they had never been cleaned. The food itself was fine, but we felt the fish tacos only tasted like sauce. The wrap was very very sweet and we didn't finish any of the food. We probably won't return, but there may be other dishes that are better. Or perhaps our tastebuds don't enjoy the sweet flavors here.

The food was best on the island will be back again!!!! Great portions, great quantity and quality

    Garlic shrimp lunch plate

I got the garlic shrimp lunch plate and it was incredible. The shrimp were huge and the creamy cilantro sauce on top was amazing. I'm still thinking about it and wish I could buy a bottle to take home. They use huge chunks of garlic in this dish so I'm a big fan. They give a generous portion of rice and my only complaint is that it were a bit fluffier. The accompanying Mac salad was tasty and the coleslaw they made with this plate was very tasty too. It's a citrus mango vinaigrette type dressing that I've never had before and was so unique. They're located in a food truck park so there's plenty of seating and options for everyone in your group. This truck has so many options I'll definitely be back to try the tacos. Thanks for a great first meal in Maui!

We went about 4ish but seems they're opened till much later and that's when it gets lively. It's a nice place to walk around though, but it's not very ADA friendly as there's lots of gravel and rocks so something to keep in mind. There's limited parking in the front but also a large parking lot in the back. Restrooms were clean.

Not like a garden you walk through with different plants and flowers. They have lots of things, though. There was a yoga session happening in the middle lawn area. They have a butterfly area, even though the butterflies were somewhere else. There is an aging tortoise, I forget his name. There are also different businesses in the buildings, like a spa and a salon. There are different small vendors with their booths and several food trucks; although, some were not open in the morning and the Thai food truck had all their items sold out on their menu already. The prices were even more pricier than the food trucks at Maui Food Trucks. One vendor had hand crafted desserts for $20/piece! I admired from afar, haha. Everything is advertised as "farm to table" maybe justifying their prices. We shared an acai bowl and it was mid. The the peanut butter was just scraped on the side of the bowl. Our typical acai bowls at least put the peanut/almond butter in the middle like any other topping so you can get an even bite with everything. But the dallop of peanut butter just on the side, it was like we ordered peanut butter on the side of our acai bowl. It was weird. I bet it's more alive at night with more food trucks open and live music. We came and saw and didn't come back. I can see how it can be great for families with toddlers running around, giving them a safe space to burn their energy. Until then, this probably won't be the top of our list.

The truck itself is fun, painted with bright tropical colors and scenes, and they seem to be known for their loaded tots and bao buns. I placed my order on the touchscreen outside and then sat down to wait for my food. For lunch on this day I went with the buffalo chicken tots and the Island Piggy bao. The menu described the bao as kalua pork, BBQ sauce, tropical salsa, and pickled red onions. The buffalo chicken tots were described as buttermilk fried chicken, buffalo sauce, jack cheddar cheese, house made pickles, and ranch dressing. It took less than 10 minutes for my food to be ready and I sat down at one of the shaded picnic tables. When I opened everything up it all looked good, but I did notice that the tots were missing the house made pickles. I started with the bao and thought it was pretty good. The kalua pork was super juicy and the bao bun was light and fluffy while still holding together well. The pickled onions added a nice acidity and the tropical salsa brought good flavor. The only thing I did not notice much was the BBQ sauce. After that I dug into the tots. The tots themselves were cooked nicely with a crispy outside and soft inside. The chicken was good as well with a nice batter and the buffalo sauce added flavor while the cheese was gooey. The only thing worth noting is that the chicken was softer than expected and not very crispy. It worked since I did have the texture from the crispy tots, but it stood out. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I would probably not order both a bao and tots again as it was a lot of food, but I would definitely come back for one or the other.

We came here twice and I got the 3 bao slider combo each time. - The BAO*CHICKA*BAO*BAO was one of my favorite sandwiches. - My second favorite was the ISLAND PIGGY. I got this both times. - the LITTLE PIGGY was good, but a little overhyped in my opinion. But good to try. - the DUCK DUCK GOAT was wildly disappointing. As you can see in the picture, all meat and almost nothing else. Maybe a few silvers of cabbage. But where's the goat cheese and the fig jam?!? We also got the ALOHA TOTS. Huge portion so that was nice. But the kalua pork was pretty watery and made the crispy tots go soggy pretty fast. Overall a solid spot. Definitely worth trying at least once.
