I guess Nashville style chicken is not for me...the place itself was larger than expected (plenty of seating options even on a Saturday afternoon) and the service was friendly and they were really cranking out the orders. I think we only waited 20 minutes or so on a very busy day. My only complaint is the chicken dry rub is extremely dry. The rub just stayed on my tongue instead of dissolving into the chicken so I didn't get that much additional flavor from any of the provided sauces or sides. It made the chicken feel dry and overcooked even though it wasn't. I don't think I'll be back since this is just not my favorite way to eat fried chicken. read more

I just seem to be missing the hype here. The reception at the check out seems liked we were bothering them. I got the chicken slider and tenders combo. Surprised a drink was not included. The chicken was meh at best. I did not love the dry rub that was used on the chicken or the fries. This admittedly is a taste thing. For me, however the chicken was over cooked and stringy. I've been seeing Dave's Hot Chicken on Instagram for quite some time and finally tried it at the Woburn location inside the plaza. The portions are huge so beware - the "2 tenders" are ginormous so you will be full from it. We tried the regular spicy level and the chicken itself is juicy and moist and is fried in a dry-rub cajun/cayenne flavor. The fries were good as well as the mac and cheese. Overall, if you're in the mood for some fried tenders and fries with dry rub, this is your spot. Walked in today as my friend recommended we give it a try. The restaurant was very nice and new. The service was fantastic. I received my order within 5-10 minutes. Now to review the food: I chose to start with the hot flavor as it was the middle selection just to get a feel for the flavors. When I opened up the box, the chicken smelled amazing and once I took a bite, the brown sugar flavor combined with the hot sauce was very inviting. It kept me wanting to take another bite. What can I say? This chicken is some of the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend going out here if you're a fan of spicy chicken. I will definitely be returning in the near future. This place is terrible. I have been waiting over 40 minutes for my food. They told me over 15 minutes ago they were working on it. It seems that they are very short staffed there was several I mean over 10 people both in line and another more then 10 waiting for their food. The workers sadly look very over worked. I told them I was waiting for my food yet they still placed my order on the DoorDash shelf when it was placed online through their app. Management here should really look into how things are being run at night especially since they advertise they are open late. Most of the time the shake machine only has vanilla which is a let down though but doesn't change how great the food is! The service is okay... most of the people there are friendly but the cashiers I have noticed have a temper and does not have much knowledge on basic things (example: if they serve ranch). We settled on medium for a spice level but enjoyed both the mild and hot; there's even a no-spice option if you'd like.
