Came here to get my breaks replaced I had my own break pads (that's probably what pissed them off that I had already purchased them for less than what they wanted to prob charge me for) and they loosened up my car wheel and said "look we can't change your break pads because your wheels lose" ... that has had to be the stupidest shi I ever heard and then I told them js do it bruh and they said they couldn't because they didn't wanna be liable for damages and then said they would fix it but they had to fix the "lose wheel" this entire situation just pissed me off completely worst place to go and they took almost an hour when I went before to go get a new tire for another car of mine. read more

I remember when patching up a tire was just $15 and I didn't mind when it went up to $20 but $40 patch is crazy

A while back, I wanted to replace my flat tire for a used one in this shop and ho boy.. let me tell you, there's a scheme that goes on over here: First of all, my flat tire was leaking out air in between the tire wall and wheel. Prior to turning it over to the shop, I had verified using soap and water. I sprayed it all over the tire for the presence of air bubbles, and there were no punctured nail(s) and foreign objects visible at all. When I handed my tire over to the head person of the shop, I had told him exactly what I'd done to verify for air leaks. He nodded and said he would take care of it; he then goes and hands off the tire to the next person, which was one of his minions working in the back of the garage, and he then signals him secretly with a hand gesture. And after about 5 minutes, his minion rolls the tire back, fully inflated, towards me. He wanted to show me where the air was leaking. He pointed to the sidewall where It obviously looked like a hole was punctured through deliberately with a pin needle. I then replied, "I already sprayed the tire with soap and water and it wasn't even gushing out air on that tiny spot-- how did that happen?" He stared back at me in denial. I proceeded to tell him that I wasn't specifically there to patch the tire, I was there to replace it with a used one. It gotten even more worse... there were no tire sizes that matched mine in the shop at all. How did I found out? After the used tire was sold to me and was installed on my wheel (weighted and balanced), I took it back home and installed it back onto my car. As I checked the original three tires on my car (with the correct matching sizes), the used tire sold to me was clearly a mismatch. It didn't even match any of the specifications of width, aspect ratio and RIM diameter with the original three tires. So, yeah. Bummer... Lessoned learned. Now you know... read more

Found a small nail in my tire so I gave David's rally a call to see how much they charge for a patch. Person on the line said between $10-$30 depending on patch or plug. Decided to have them patch my wheel for $30. Took about 10 minutes in total for everything. Took off a star because the worker lost one of the tire caps that I noticed was missing the next day. read more

You know it's a Monday when you wake up and find a huge screw lodged in your tire. Actually, that's not exactly how it went for me this morning, but I started driving on my way to work and heard a really weird sound coming from my tire which prompted me to pull over at the nearest gas station to check it to see if it needed air. Then low & behold I found that beast stuck in my wheel and of course being me, I kind of freaked out because I wasn't in my normal neighborhood and I have no idea what was around me as far as a tire repair place. A complete stranger who spoke only Spanish happened to notice my expression upon the discovery in my tire which I'm sure was pretty self-explanatory. Pretty sure I let out something profane as well & not quietly either. He came over to me and thank goodness I was able to understand everything he told me and recommended this place to me, which was relatively close by. As soon as I pulled up I was greeted by a very friendly man that spoke good enough English and direct me where to pull in my tire after he said they do repairs there. This is how easy it was. I didn't even have to get out of my car. He came over with the Jack and was able to get the tire off, passed my tire to one of his coworkers who immediately disappeared into the shop and I kid you not, within 10 minutes tops he was back with my tire looking brand spanking new. I didn't even have to get out of the car to pay, that's how awesome this place is! As a woman, in general I think that over all we are a little bit leery of going into any place that has to do with cars because so many times we see all too often that women get ripped off in the industry. This place is definitely not one of those! I felt secure, comfortable, it was absolutely convenient, and they were the quickest most professional guys ever! I cannot give them a high enough recommendation! Super glad for that random stranger who referred me to them. I even already passed on the information to a friend of mine who lives in that area. I went to Calderon tires in sunnyvale and they were too busy for me. Prior to today I have used roman tires to purchase my used tires. I called roman to find out that it is no longer in service and this David's tire has taken over their business? I had two bald tires in front that needed attention. Jose was able to help me replace all four tires used for a very inexpensive price! I cannot disclose the amount but it's way cheaper than Calderon! I was able to drive in and they were able to help me out immediately. The shop is outside and if you are looking for a environment like jiffy lube and American tires co this is not the place for you. If you are looking for used tires, then this is the place to go. Update: upon further review I have been sold a tire that is going to wear out! They tried selling me a set after I told them that the right rear tire was still good. And they replaced it with one that is worst that the last one! read more

Again, today and last week, two of our cars had new tires each and one of them new front rotors and pads. Jose, the service boss, uses good ventilated rotors and ceramic pads--a plus! Like my moms friend recommended this place so we came right ? We wanted to change the rotator and the brakes on each tire. At first he quoted me 550 for four of them. We called my moms friend over to talk to the owner . They chit chat , reunited doing their guy to guy talk and stuff and he said he'd do it for 450 so yay ! Like I love the service here we and stuff because I don't have to wait . They put my car in right away and get started on it before everyone else so thumbs up for customer service ! 11/12/2020 I went to David's Rally Wheels, for a 4 new tire installation on a 2018 Toyota Sienna. I ask the attendant that approach me what was the price for installation and balancing per tire and he told me $15 for installation $10 for balancing and $5 for disposing the tire for a total of $120 for the service, I told him to go ahead and do the service. While I was waiting I started talking to other customers and discover that they were having the same service done and that they were charged $15 for installation and balancing. I was overcharged $40.
