After calling around a few shops for specialty tires and being told either they were not able to get them, or it would be 4 or 4 days minimum I reached Jose at David's Rally Wheels. I once went across the street to the other tire shop n dude tried to hustle me saying I needed new shocks and to upgrade my tires, along with they didn't repair the nail in my tire correctly !!!! As a girl little did they know my dad is also a mechanic and restores cars I came here to David's and the owner said no you do not need new shocks and have me a great price on a new tire. Writing this review for my father who just had work done there recently. About a week ago he had got his breaks done here and came back to patch his tire that had a nail in it. An employee noticed that the brand new breaks he had got done were already worn out and instead of charging my father for a new pair they went ahead and changed them for no cost at all. My tire had picked up a screw and needed urgent attention. After finding my usual tire shop closed I drove to David's Rally Wheels, which is near my work. I was very pleased with the excellent service. They had no problem with me showing up without an appointment, offered several solutions, and provided stellar timely service with no runaround. Even though the lot is full of impressive sounding and looking street and drift racers, none of the very nice and professional staff looked down on me for being a middle aged lady needing an affordable solution for an older car. They offered to plug the tire, but since it was worn anyway, I asked for a used tire and was quoted $75. The one I received was almost new - for $70. As a courtesy, they also fixed a hub cab another store had put on wrong, and checked air pressure all around. Very good experience; would recommend to anyone whether broke everyperson or serious racer. read more
