Overall a great dinner experience. The place was warm and inviting as you would expect an "Irish Pub" to be. Plenty of big screen TVs for the sports fans. Our server was prompt, attentive and friendly. We had the pub nachos, garlic parm wings, shepherds pie, and Addy's Strawberry Shortcake which were all excellent.....except the nachos were a little over cooked. The only other negative is that they don't offer sweet tea. :-( Cmon, this IS Texas. LOL We will be returning soon.

Jumbo boneless wings (basically chicken breasts) are always so good.

Saddened to say portions are getting smaller, and our favorite lemon pepper jumbo wings lacked seasoning and flavor.

    Jukebox

Why you have someone screaming on a mic for some trivia game let alone playing loud heavy metal music between questions is beyond me. What makes restaurants think people want to hear nonsense when they just want to have dinner will always baffle me. Not only that people as you can see in the Jukebox app screenshot are paying money to hear songs but they aren't playing the music. Instead the wannabe DJ with the obnoxious microphone is playing his own tunes. So the jukebox just takes your money basically....

I have been Pet sitting for a nice couple in McKinney and it's my first time in this beautiful neighborhood! I asked the Owners what some of their favorite places to eat are and the first place they mentioned was Delaney's Irish Pub. I looked at their Menus online and there are so many delicious items to choose from but what stuck out to me was my all time fave Shepherds Pie. I decided to order this for Dinner and for dessert I got the Bread Pudding. The Shepherds Pie comes with a side salad so I got mine with Pub Ranch dressing. When the food was delivered it was nice and hot and smelled so good. It didn't take long for me to dive into my food and every bite was even better than the one before!! I would like to go to the restaurant to dine in soon because I want to try their Fish and Chips and cocktails. I'm hooked!

Good beer, decent drinks and really good fish and chips. It's definitely a sports bar theme with the opportunity of a fight possibly breaking out so it gets too feisty. Other than that, it's just a local pub.

Fun, casual, Irish pub that looks just like you're probably imagining. Our server, Marcel, was nice and attentive, while still letting us enjoy a quiet meal. They have a lot of different options to choose from but we stuck to more of the "traditional" items. The corned beef and cabbage, and shepherd's pie were so good. Definitely comfort food. The shepherds pie came with a salad as well. They have a dill pickle soup that is a must have. It's not very pickle forward but you can taste it. It's hearty with potatoes and chicken. I ate it so fast I didn't get a picture of it. Their potato skins were kind of basic and not very good in my opinion.

My friend recommended this on his list of Irish Pubs around here, so I decided to give it a try. For a strip mall Irish Pub, it does take you into another world. Cool entrance that opens up to a horseshoe bar with tons of tables and booths. It was Trivia night, so they only had the Stanley Cup playoff on one TV. Sat down at the bar and ordered my Guinness and reviewed the menu. There were a couple of selections I was interested in (always gravitate to Bangers n' Mash), but went with the fish & chips with French Onion soup. Get these together, because the fish is delicious in the beef broth of the French Onion! It was good, though fish could've used a little more batter with the thick walleye filets. I loved it all and enjoyed the conversation with the bartender with the I Love Indie Horror hat. Some good ones out there that aren't being made like they use to!!

After we paid our bill with a credit card, I noticed that we were charged a 3% credit card fee. That was a first, and likely began in April since our last visit was on 3/24/26 and no credit card fee was assessed. Nowhere on the menu was it mentioned there would be a credit card fee, nor was it articulated by a bartender. That sort of fee makes me wonder what's going on in this establishment. Not sure we'll be back.

I ate the Asian barbecue chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal. The breading was great, the sauce was delicious, and the contents complimented each other nicely. So, we thought - why not, it's close- let's go and see if we like it better this time. Let's start with the positives. We arrived shortly after 5pm and the place was pretty empty so we were seated right away. The server was friendly and immediately took our drink orders. She was attentive and service was fast. No complaints with her service at all. It seemed pretty chill and low key. A few people trickled in but nothing crazy for a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer and I was pleasantly surprised. The color of the pretzel had me fooled. It was pretty dark in color which usually indicates overdone and hard so when it was amazingly soft inside - wow! So good! We loved the mustard and cheese sauce that came with it. My husband and son ordered a burger and said they were tasty, my other son ordered the chicken strips and said they were good. Negative for the meal, I ordered the blackened cod tacos and subbed the chips and salsa for the Gilroy Garlic Fries. I was very excited for the garlic fries since we are originally from that area and are very knowledgeable about the famous Gilroy Garlic Festival and all things Garlic. Here's where this dish wasn't exciting - the tacos were pretty bland. I took the coleslaw from my son's chicken tenders to try and add more flavor and make the taco more palatable. I only ate 1 of the 2 because there really was just zero flavor. The fries were probably an even greater disappointment. In the center, was a very small amount of cheese and maybe garlic? It had virtually zero garlic taste - I was searching for it. It was a sad version of garlic fries. I would not order that again unless they were improved upon. I went back and forth on 3 stars versus 4 stars because while service was great and fast, I can't confidently say I'd recommend it to someone. I may say it's a great place to chill for a beer and an appetizer but definitely NOT a meal. I think if your expectations are to stick with the appetizer list then you're probably going to like it. They have a large beer selection and plenty of screens for your favorite games.

We walked into the bar 90 minutes before kickoff and found a table in the middle of the bar that could accommodate our party and had good viewing of the screens. As we went to sit down, a man approached us and told us that the table we were sitting at was for some "regulars" and asked us to move. The table had no sign on it that it was reserved and this man did not identify himself as an owner or manager of the establishment. Choosing to take the high road, I moved our group to another table that could accommodate our party that was off to the side. Sure enough, the "regulars" came rolling in shortly before kickoff to their "unreserved" reserved table. This is just bad business. And discourages people who are not "regulars" from coming to the bar. I regularly attend a Chicago Bears bar in Los Angeles where I live and have never had such issues. There are no unspoken "reserved" tables for "regulars." It's completely first come, first serve as it should be. If you want your "regulars" to have their table waiting for them when they arrive, just stick a reserved sign on it. Or tell them to get there early. Not difficult. We also waited forever for our drinks while the "regulars" at their "unreserved" reserved table were kept fully stocked. The service and the food was mid anyway and not worth the price. Trust me, I picked up what you were laying down. We aren't regulars, so it's whatever. I won't be back.

Highlights: The fish & chips were so good I briefly considered converting to Catholicism just so I could thank God properly. The bathroom graffiti is poetic. "Roses are red, violets are blue, I came for a piss and met half the crew." - actual quote. Then you've got Hannah, who's basically the pub's chaos coordinator. She's got stories that start with "Back in then..." and end with police chases, lost sheep, and at least one exploding still. She'll flirt with your grandma, roast your ex in three sentences or less. There is also this Asian guy that looks like a confused troll with blonde hair. He lives up to the saying once you go Asian it's amasian. Can't forget the blonde girl that's going through the Dallas legacy transition of bottle service to real estate. Shes as good at serving as she is selling real estate.
