Great place for fresh Mexican food and drinks. Huge menu with lots of variety including seafood options that looked fantastic. We had a combination plate and the green chile and both were flavorful and delicious. Great staff and a friendly ambiance with a mix of ages and families dining on an early Saturday evening.

Delicias has a big menu, including a lot of seafood choices. Everything was fresh and authentic. Several of our party had the wet burritos. Service was fast and attentive. As soon as we were seated, the complementary tortilla chips are served with salsa and beans. The Patron margaritas are served with the shot of Cointreau on the side, so you can add it to your taste. Warm and relaxed ambiance with live music.

The food is absolutely fresh delicious I love the Menudo that they serve!! It's not all corn like you usually get at other places. Their service is wonderful friendly. The ambience is very happy and joyful. It's a full on authentic Mexican experience.

A friend recommended Delicias and it was on point for authentic Mexican cuisine. Lots of table seating in two dining rooms and a bar. Friends ordered the seafood signature dish and I had Wet burrito which was tasty. We devoured the chips, hot salsa and creamy refritos dip that is brought to your table. Drinks are a lil pricey but they are big Margarita glasses and tasty! Random fun item they also sell oyster shooters with choice of tequila or vodka! The vibe and service was friendly and festive. I preferred the male singer with his great voice over the mariachi band. You might like to bring change to tip the performers. Highly recommended for a festive authentic meal.

I'm confused as to why this place is packed all the time. This is what made me want to try it. Service is pretty good. We were seated in a booth next to very dirty windows and walls. The food was just food. Nothing that I would want to go back for. My husband said the fajita meat was reheated, the cheese in my chile relleno was a block of cold cheese that did not melt. I know Mexican food and maybe this is why I'm picky but there's great Mexican restaurants around. It's just not this one

First time here and it was amazing! Our server was very friendly, funny and attentive. As you're seated, you get chips, salsa, and beans! At most places you just get salsa and chips but the beans were a nice surprise and they were very very tasty. To drink I ordered an horchata and it was delicious. For food I got the molcajete mixto for one person and I shared it with someone, it was the perfect amount. We even had left overs it was so big. The chicken and meat were seasoned well and the shrimps were huge and tasty! The sauce at the bottom of the molcajete was super delicious and we liked to dip our meats/shrimp in there. The molcajete came with a side of rice, beans and guacamole. Overall, this place has amazing food and an amazing ambiance! The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is because the kitchen is very close to where you dine and because of that, it gets very smoky in the whole restaurant.

Went here for the first time and loved it! Very cute cozy Mexican place in south Tucson. All the benches and chairs are this beautiful carved wood like in the picture. Fast friendly and quick service! We both had chilaquiles with the red and green sauce... delish! Definitely wanna come back to try the seafood and drinks side of the menu! Great local spot!

The food here is always delicious and worth the wait (if there's one). Servers here are super friendly and very attentive and the ambience is festive and authentic. We enjoyed our last visit here with our friends from Tennessee!

El Charro kept…read morepopping up in our search, and since we love exploring historic places with a story, it seemed like the perfect choice. Located in downtown Tucson, this iconic restaurant is full of character and beautifully decorated. We visited on a Saturday around 1 PM without a reservation and were told there would be a wait since the place was packed. They only have air conditioning in the indoor dining areas and basement, not on the outdoor patio. Luckily, we were seated in the basement, which turned out to be perfect. The service was commendable truly some of the sweetest and most attentive service we've experienced in a long time. We started with freshly made chips and salsa, which were an instant hit. For drinks, we ordered the El Tamarindo, Mangopeno, and Monica's Cafetini. For food, we chose the Vegan Jackfruit Taquitos Trio and the Fresh Corn Tamale Platter, which came with a side of squash. The drinks were excellent, with the Mangopeno being my favorite. But the real star of the meal was the tamale platter. Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table kept digging in and couldn't get enough. Even the squash side was so flavorful that we ordered an extra serving. The vegan jackfruit taquitos were a bit too deep-fried for our liking and didn't quite compare to the incredible tamales. To finish, we shared a caramel flan, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the food was memorable. We will definitely be back again if only for those amazing tamales!

Chips were solid, although the salsa was pretty bad. Not sure if this is baseline or I got a bad batch but it was close to inedible. It tasted like spicy ketchup. For my entree, I had a beef burrito and it was also underwhelming. Meat was very dry and bland. Beans and guacamole were fine but did not salvage the meal overall. Oh also you have to pay for parking. Lot is $9 for the day and street parking was $2.50 for 2 hours which wasn't bad.

Spacious patio area, with cool lights, umbrellas, and many tables. If you have a choice and it isn't too hot, sit outside. The food is stellar! I got their ranch style flat enchilada, which is more or less a thick masa topped with enchilada flavors and spices. So yummy. (And it's vegetarian too!) The rest of the table (3 more) ordered the green chicken enchiladas. They didn't need to rave about it: their plates were completely clean at the end of the meal! We ordered Tamarindo and Horchata drinks between us, and frankly, the Tamarindo is some of the best I've ever had anywhere. Service can be a little slow, especially if they're busy. But we didn't really mind. It was a nice experience.

The restaurant was packed and it was the holidays so it was understandable. We were told to wait at the back of the restaurant which we did. We waited for over an hour and then were told our table was ready, so we got up and followed. Then someone else came up and they both started whispering and then told us that we would not be seated after all. We asked what had happened (was the kitchen too busy?) but were not told anything other than "she told us not to seat you". The secretive whispering made it a very confusing situation. We sat back down and waited some more. Eventually we got seated, but then the food took another hour to come after we ordered. We asked a few times for water refills but eventually gave up when it didn't come. The plus side - the FOOD. The mole sauce was really good, best I've had! The chicken mole was my favorite dish but the beef with chile was also spectacular. Both corn and flour tortillas were so good here. It was really delicious and I would come back for the food, but not for the service.

Honestly, I wish I could give Yaquesita a little more, maybe half a star more, because this place definitely has potential. Their flavors are good, but compared to similar restaurants the menu feels a bit overpriced. For a party of three we ended up paying around $100, which felt like a bit much for what we got. The restaurant itself is pretty small with only about 3-4 tables inside, but the patio is a decent size and has a cute vibe. It's actually a nice option on cooler days if you don't mind sitting outside. Some items were better than others. The wet-style burrito was delicious and definitely a highlight. The quesabirrias were good, however the birria felt more like fancier shredded beef. It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.
