I love Denny's but this was probably the worst service I've experienced in a Denny's restaurant to date. Just take a look at my Denny's Buena Park review. I praised their service. We had a late lunch at about 4:00 pm. When we stopped into the restaurant, we were greeted by a very cheerful young lady who walked us to our table, presented us with our menu's and asked us if we wanted anything to drink. Up to this point, things were fine until a male server, (Angel) came to assist us. I ordered the Cali Club sandwich and a chocolate shake. He asked if I wanted french fries and I said yes. I asked if they still had waffle fries and he bluntly replied, NO! He took the order from the other person in my party and walked away. The order took approximately 30 minutes to complete. There were only two other tables of patrons who were already eating in the entire restaurant, so I'm not sure why it took so long to prepare our food. Angel made my chocolate shake and brought it back to the table before the food arrived. Normally at all other Denny's restaurants the shake comes in a glass along with some extra shake in the blender cup. When he brought the shake, there was a little sip left in the blender cup. I'm still not sure why he brought the blender cup to our table since there was such a small amount left. The shake was not up to the normal Denny's standard. I usually get almost one and a half glasses of shake when it's prepared properly. It was disappointing. After bringing our food, Angel walked past our table numerous times and not once checked to see if everything was good or if we needed anything else. I had to get up from my table to retrieve a bottle of ketchup and then later after finishing our meal, had to ask Angel to bring a "to-go" box and our bill because we were waiting to leave Again, this was all during a lunch service of only three tables. Angel, please remember that all customers are important and should be treated as such. We just want to be acknowledged. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and satisfaction drove me to look elsewhere and I was able to find Coco's Restaurant and Bakery down the street.

Still 5! Super service. And you cannot be at the prices and food right next to Disneyland. Their 55+ menu is crazy great too. My salmon was perfect with roasted veggies and a hearty rice medley.beer for 5$. Perfect way to end day.

Came here for a final breakfast before leaving, and just a couple of days after my last review. The breakfast was on a voucher from the Best Western Pavilions next door, and although the last visit was good, this one was "more gooderer"! (Keep all grammar policing to yourself - I like saying that! ) I arrived about 9:30 - late sleep in - and was quickly shown a table by the host, Jorge, and was just as quickly greeted by my server, Ricardo, who took my beverage order while I perused the menu - I was planning to get a little something in addition to the breakfast. When he returned I was ready, and I ordered 2 of the 2 eggs (scrambled) and the hash browns, and added a fruit bowl off the menu as well as an iced tea. The food came quickly, the eggs still hot. The reason this visit is more gooderer is because the eggs this time were moist, like I like them! Not everybody will and that's okay, but they were perfect for me! The fruit bowl was yummy, with bananas, red grapes (and 3 seeds!) and cantaloupe, not too sweet but good. The service from Ricardo was exemplary, and I appreciate his working with me on the menu items - I am glad to see consistently great service here, no matter who I have had so far, from hosts to servers. Looking forward to my next visit.

We got a free voucher for Dennys while staying at the Best Western behind it. We found out that we could only pick from several items. I picked the pancakes, oatmeal, and bacon. Pancakes were good and filling but oatmeal came out cold and watery. It was disgusting. Bacon was okay. I guess you can't complain about free. The waitress was amazing though. She was fast and very nice.

The Denny's close to Disneyland. They even sell a good plethora of Disneyland Merch in here. Came here the other day during COVID times. Dining is outside and they did a good job serving us. I do think they hike up the price here for being close to Disneyland? My friend got an All American Slam and it was $12. The portions looked small!!! The bathrooms were clean (which is always telling of a facility) and I felt pretty safe here. Coffee was expensive but I had one anyway!

Not sure if reservations are required, but this speakeasy is pretty tiny so I can't imagine it can accommodate walk ins. We had a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night. The door is very well hidden, I thought it'd be in a basement around the corner or something. The space is really small, so big groups are not advised. I had the niña fresa, a strawberries and creme type drink. Delicious! If you like sweet drinks, otherwise do not get it. I had the Saturn afterwards. Still a little sweet, but mostly sour. The server came by to say that we only had 25 min left, so we hurriedly ordered a last drink. But when he delivered it, it magically became 5 min! I chugged my drink and was ushered out the door. Overall it was pretty nice but I didn't enjoy having to rush at the very end.

We started with The Gatsby Effect drink which came in beautiful glasses and a tower that drips butterfly pea tea gin into your glass, changing the color of your drink. There's only one tower option with dinner. It comes with an entire 1 oz container of caviar with crumb fresh, chicken nuggets with crown fresh smoked trout caviar and chives, spicy ahi tuna wonton chip, mini lobster rolls, kettle chips, shrimp cocktail shooters, wagyu sliders, and chicken Caesar salad skewers. Nothing disappointed! Everything was high quality. Shrimp was plump n meaty. The service was great! Our waitress was very nice and checked up on us often. Down the Rabbit Hole at STORY -- Anaheim Hills…read more If you've ever wanted to fall straight into Wonderland, STORY in Anaheim Hills is your rabbit hole. From the moment I walked in, I was enchanted -- plush tufted velvet booths in dreamy blues, cascading candlestick chandeliers, walls lined with vintage books, and the most whimsical tablescapes I've ever seen. A teapot-and-teacup candelabra dripping with flowers and pocket watches greeted us like something straight off the Mad Hatter's table. Curiosity encouraged, reality optional, indeed. Half the fun was the crowd -- patrons in their finest hats and full Wonderland regalia, everyone leaning into the magic. The black-and-white spiral placemats and mismatched rose-painted china made every corner Instagram gold. We did the **Mad Hatter's Tea ($40 per guest)**, and it delivered both on theme and on flavor. The presentation arrives on a gleaming gold three-tiered stand, and there's a delightful Asian-fusion twist woven through the classic high-tea lineup: - **Goat & feta cheese pinwheels** -- pink whipped goat cheese with roasted beet purée, Genoa salami, and arugula in a spinach tortilla, finished with balsamic and honey drizzle. As pretty as they were tasty. - **Tea sandwiches** -- delicate chicken salad, egg salad, ham & dijon, and cucumber & cream cheese. - **Mozzarella, cantaloupe & prosciutto skewers** -- fresh and light. - **Freshly baked scones, danishes, and buttermilk biscuits** with whipped honey butter and strawberry jam -- warm, flaky, and exactly what high tea should be. - A sizzling **garlic shrimp skillet** with charred lemon and toasted bread that we added on -- savory and satisfying. And the theatrical touches! Each guest gets a **Tea Forté** selection (the Green Mango Peach and White Ginger Pear were lovely), a glass of sparkling wine, and a darling little **"Drink Me" potion bottle** to share -- a perfect Wonderland flourish. STORY is more than a meal; it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating, planning a girls' day, or just want to escape into something beautiful, put on your favorite hat and come play. We'll absolutely be back.
