This was our favorite location. Not today! We were told that we would have a 15 min wait for food. No problem. That time seems normal. Well, after we got our drinks and ordered, we hoped to ask for straws. After a long wait, I got up to ask for them myself. Also, for coffee refills. Several times, I got up to ask for coffee refills. Our server never refilled my coffee even though I did flag her down. I grabbed Tabasco from another table and asked her for sugar free syrup. We got our food and then a little while later, she dropped off the check. I got up and asked for another coffee. It was cold, so I left it. We sat near the kitchen and we heard the cooks being asked to microwave some food. My husband thinks his burger was at the window for quite a bit, too. My food was well done. I had to tell our hostess about the ladies restroom being out of paper and needing the trash to be dumped. They did handle that quickly. We will be going to the Rosedale location if they feel like they are slammed because the service is usually spot on, but not today. read more

Okay, this is kind of a rarity for me. Most chain joints are only going to get 3 stars from my reviews. And that's how things should work, that's why we have a 1 to 5 system... Not everything can be awesome or completely evil... So be default, this joint should be right at 3 stars... And yet, each time we have stopped we have noted how clean the place is (cleaner than most!) and how polite the staff is. That why this joint is getting an extra star. I don't think that I can elevate this higher than four stars but I have to admit that for a Denny's it is a bit better than most. read more

Let's see, 7 in the morning, 50 degrees outside, and the air conditioner is blowing cold air in the restaurant. hands are freezing, food's getting cold, the only one who can adjust it is the manager who is 'stuck behind the grill' and can't stop for one second the punch a button so we can enjoy a warm meal without being bundled in our jackets and blowing on or hands on to warm them up. Get seated, waitress was MIA after we ordered another server came w our coffees, 2 parties next to us hit seated & ordered after us, their food got served 1st, service based on race huh? We had to hunt down for utensils, ask for additional creamers after our refill. Upon checking out, I saw their Value Menus hidden away at the station where guests check in, they were purposely hiding those menus forcing us to order from the reg menu w/o the available option. We walked in and were immediately greeted and seated. My husband almost instantly commented on how nice and clean this location is. The staff was very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. I built my own grand slam and hubby got a french toast slam. Everything was great! i am angry because i went to this location to eat a nice lunch with my family but our waitress was NOT wearing a mask and had only a plastic cover which does nothing because she would still breathe on us. I do not want to go somewhere to eat and feel as unsafe as i did then. Horrible experience. Food was way overdone I got the countryfried steak skillet, eggs were overdone it was supposed to come w red skin potatoes it was mixed w their burger fries that looked like they were there since last night, they tasted burnt. Came here for breakfast one morning and this location was pretty empty so they sat us quick and thankfully our waitress was very friendly. I ordered a Caesar Chicken salad and my boyfriend ordered a grand slam. His order was good it looked good (he looked good) and I ended up getting a regular Caesar salad and the salad was terrifying, it looked old, soggy and i didn't take a picture because as soon as it was placed in front of me I immediately stated "what the hell is this?!" I just don't understand why they would serve such nasty salad to a customer.. Apparently all the salad was on a recall?? ..( I DON'T CARE ) more so of a reason to just tell the customer .. " Sorry but at this present moment we don't have salad " i ended up getting a veggie omelette that only contained a slice of Swiss cheese, cubes of squash and well bottom line..... it wasn't appetizing.... in my head i thought "that's what i get for wanting vegetables". If there's only one thing about Denny's it's that it is consistent. You go in with a certain level of expectations and it consistently delivers. Also they're open pretty much all the time which is super convenient for roadtrips that stretch into the night or early morning meals at the start of an adventure. A better option than McDonald's if you're not in a super hurry. American food, straightforward. $2,$4,$6,$8 menu is where I head to. Feeling hungry for breakfast food? All I have to say is WOW! First they are no policing for mask. Notice less then half the people coming in with no mask. Staff had shield with no mask. Servers had no gloves or mask just a shield. Stuff still come out the bottom onto your food with a shield. Servers going from one table to another without sanitizing hands. People letting there kids wonder around with no mask. Take that "Open 24 Hours" sign down. You guys closed at midnight on a Monday night. Last night, I placed on online order that said it would be ready for pick up at midnight. I arrived to the location on time and was greeted with a woman yelling "We're closed! Can't she see the sign on the door!?" I was already welcomed rudely and then even worse, they gave my online order away to an Uber delivery driver. The manager just said they didn't have the salad and couldn't make me a new one because of the time. Normally for the few late nite breakfast places we have in this town it's not bad but last Saturday nite ordered lemon meringue pie & friend ordered a hot fudge sundae. I noticed on the pie a green spot & my friends sundae had a gob of chocolate that looked like it had been dropped on the floor then slapped on melted ice cream, the green spot was mold on the pie . First time at this Denny's. After waiting for 40mins. The food arrived, was told they had 1 cook and 1 server!!! WTF!! Poor management at this place. Ive been to other Denny's on a weekend packed to the rim with people but yet tonight, on a Monday night you'd expect service to come quickly and yet after 40 mins we finally got our food. Understaffed is a great description of this place. Servers are polite, however, they seem overwhelmed. One guy was trying to handle an entire station. He was doing the best he could with what little help he had. Management needs to step it up here. I observed several managers and several employees smoking outside. Looks awful and unprofessional. Do they not provide a smoking area for employees away from customers?? I doubt we will be back. We came back again on another night and it was the same exact chaos. It appears that the cooks are either undertrained or possibly not enough cooks to handle the flow of orders coming to the kitchen. We understood that it was rather busy but to wait over an hour for the food is ridiculous to say the least. It appears that Management blames their servers for many issues. A server does not cook the food, merely takes an order. We see alot of staff change at this location. We feel bad for how some of the staff here are treated. We will not be back again. read more
