I giving this five star because I had an amazing server her name was Gabriella she was there around 10:30am she was very nice and gave honest opinions about the food on the menu which was very helpful in making my decision and she checked on us every once a while to make sure if the meal was okay and if we needed anything else some places it hard to catch the server but this was great read more

Was out shopping today, got hungry so stopped by Dennys for a stack of pancakes in the late afternoon. Yum!! We got there and to our surprise the restaurant was completely empty. Which was great! The staff was very welcoming, wishing us a Merry Christmas and all. We sat down and ordered immediately, the food came out very quickly. Came here on Christmas because the IHOP down the street was horrible and talking about how much they didn't want to work. Came to Denny's a bit skeptical due to the amount of cars in the parking lot. But we went in, while on our way in the manager (I believe was walking this homeless man to the front asking if he had ate and if he was hungry, and that she would get him hot food if he was. It was really nice seeing that, as we came in we were greeted by a young girl wishing us a merry christmas. We were seated and drinks on our table in no more than 3 mins. It was like most other Denny's. We stopped there on our way home from a Clippers game so it was around 11 or midnight. There seemed to be only two people working that night, the waitress & a manager. It was pretty busy for a Thursday night at that time (like maybe 8-10 tables) so the service was a little slow but it was expected since there was only one waitress & I believe the manager was doing the cooking. I love Denny's and this is the closest one to me. I really like all of the options and accommodations they have for children. The prices are really fair and the portions are large. They do offer half orders on some of the appetizers, just in-case you aren't terribly hungry. Oh my goodness, I love their shakes! The chocolate one is the best, so try it! Also, there are a ton of coupons available for Denny's online, newspaper ads, and the fundraiser booklets. I love the sampler, salads, and ranch dressing so I will definitely be back. read more

People have to remember that Denny's is not a fine dining restaurant so don't expect anything too extravagant. If there's somewhere I can go at 12am to sit down and eat, I'm not going to complain much. We went here for a late night dinner and the service was good. I am a regular at this location. I have several Denny's on my way into work. This one is always clean (not the case at others) and the staff is pleasant. I came in last week and they were slammed. My order did not come out as expected. The manager was quick to take care of the issue and made me feel like more than just another customer. Im in the service business and we all make mistakes. It is more about the way things are handled after the fact, than the mistake itself. Well Done! read more

What can I say the best Denny's we've visited for years. Id rather drive an extra few miles come here than to go to my more nearby location. The customer service here is probably the best kind we have ever received at any Denny's. I don't know what their management skills are but they work great. The employees/servers treat us great. Except for one incident where a busser was slamming plates into his bus tray he had everyone turning their heads to turn look at him as to where the slamming of plates and silverware were coming from. Anyway still give it a 4 the food and fast service with kind waitresses makes me want to go back there again and again. Thank you Denny's as we are regular customers. Friday morning 10am and 35 min wait then 1hour and 15 min later we got cold food ....never again

Food was good. Service was poor. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. We ordered around 15 minutes after being seated. These were decent waits. Then, we waited more than 1 hour for our food. When we finally received the food, Victor, our waiter, messed up our order. Only two of the four orders were correct. I ordered the same thing as my friend but mine came out incorrectly. They mixed up blueberries with chocolate and loaded my pancakes with a lot of chocolate. Victor apologized and gave us the fixed dishes in a couple minutes. He was very sincere about it. However, after waiting for more than hour, we were already upset. Maybe Victor had a bad day. Maybe it was the cook's problem? Either way, 1/10 for service. read more

Denny's never conjures up a good place to go for any meal, but when we came here due to lack of other places to get something to eat quickly, I was surprised (happily). First off, it had great service. Both the waiter, and the shift manager were stand-outs. I guess they changed the their coffee brand, as it now tastes great. The pancake recipe has also changed, and kudos to them, as they now rock! Still has Denny's typically low prices. I was impressed for not having eaten in a Denny's for years. read more

The food was good. Our foo server was not. She wouldn't take our drink order unless it was the way she wanted . We wanted to order a coffee when we first got here and the rest with the meal. She wanted all the drinks ordered at one. We get out food and she forgets to bring our milks with our meal. By the time we got our milk we were all pretty much done eating! read more

It was a normal day at Ontario, I've decided to look around for a place to eat. I stumbled upon Denny's diner and so I decided to go check It out with my surprise the place had a early 2000s vibe that really made me remember living with my parents which was weird. The server gave me a seat at a booth and said he'll be right with me and by my surprise he was back. I asked the young lad ay Mane what would you recommend and his soft lips came close to my ear and he whispered "The Grand Slam" I never had a sexual experience like that and so I replied give me a grand slam and so he said later on tonight and gave me a wink. The time is 6:30pm on a Saturday 1/20/19 and I come with my family party of 6 we been sitting for 20 mins and no one has came to take our drinks and on top of that they tell us the restrooms are closed so I have 2 kids that need to you the restroom bad with dirty hands as well ...I had to raise my voice in front of my kids and family just to wash our hands ... what a joke never coming back here again read more

Usually this Denny's has no parking available as the area is extremely busy during peek hours. On a Saturday evening however, my girlfriend and I were able to find a spot and stopped in for dinner. We were seated by a young man who also took our drink order and there were about 5 other groups at booths. It is set up like many other Denny's, fairly clean and it's quick to get a table or booth. Our waitress came later after the greeter brought us our drinks and took our order. She also confirmed what we had received to drink. I ordered a skillet, coffee and ice water, my partner had a sandwich, coke and fries. It was odd that the waitress asked about our drinks because after she brought us our food we never saw her again until we had long since finished said food. Never asked if everything was ok, refills or warm up, nothing. She had plenty of time considering we eat slow and also used the restroom while waiting. The food was decent as per usual Denny's and besides that our experience was ok. While our experience wasn't bad, I would rather go to a different location and hopefully get some staff that is a little more attentive. Given this and the fact that the area is very busy and parking is hard to find, I don't think I'll be back. read more
