Shortly after, we were greeted and waters were brought. Drink ordered were placed soon after. After reviewing the menu and made up our minds, our food order was placed as well. Food was served, enjoyed with the family. I ordered the crab cake Benedict with my Paloma mimosa. The other plates in my table consisted of the country fried steak and chilaquiles which were both great and enjoyed. We had our table our chit chat, ordered pancakes for dessert and overall we enjoyed the environment, speed of food being served and attentive service provided by the restaurant servers.

The Bloody Mary, though, was lacking a little punch... and I'm pretty sure they were a bit stingy with the vodka. We had the chilaquiles, but sadly, they didn't wow us. The tri-tip was particularly disappointing, rubbery and tough, making it hard to enjoy. Hopefully just an off day, because the service was definitely on point!

We went with the famous French dip and fries, which was perfect and tons of meat. We've been to other places that say they have a great French dip, but it's nothing compared to this. And then ordered a regular meat lovers omelette with hashbrowns and biscuit and gravy. It came out hot and fresh and plenty to eat. Overall, a very enjoyable Sunday experience. We will return for sure.

I came in for the diner classics, starting with the Santa Maria Tri-Tip, 10 ounces of marinated tri-tip; the Roasted Turkey, 8 ounces of white meat turkey doused in a salty gravy and served with cranberry sauce; and the Blackened Salmon, a wild Pacific fillet seasoned with Cajun spices. My favorite of these was the tri-tip, cooked to a juicy medium, just as I had requested. The plates were served with salad and a selection of sides, and the broccoli/carrots and homemade biscuits were highlights. I also had the Taco Salad, a mixture of lettuce, tomato, onion, olives, pickled jalapeños, avocado, shredded cheddar and jack cheeses, salsa, and grilled chicken breast, all served in an oversized fried taco shell lined with refried beans. The olives, jalapeños, and salsa gave this salad a flavor punch--a nice south of the border-inspired dish! Overall, the food here was decent though not outstanding, and the diner vibes were quaint and familiar. The service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable--just don't expect the same portion sizes you might have found at Big Bear long ago.

Also, one server was only holding one plate and waited for my husband to get up, walk over, and get his food from him. Odd. Unprofessional. Unhospitable.

I'm giving this Denny's a low rating today me and some coworkers came in to have some breakfast and at first everything was good. The food did take a while to come out a coworker ordered a glass of milk and did not come out until he was already done with his food, the server never asked how we wanted to pay and assumed I was gonna pay the bill so I corrected him and he came back and split the check appropriately once I paid. I moved myself to the back so my coworkers can pay for their bill and I saw that he was mumbling under his breath. after a few seconds he got louder, and he was mentioning about not giving a tip. He became very disrespectful and was being specific how we did not want to tip him not for the foundation, but for his own kids at home. After the argument, he mentioned to me and my coworkers that if we don't have money to tip that we should go to Burger King. I really don't mind tipping people, but when they come at you this disrespectful and wanting you to support their kids then that's when I just don't bother in tipping.His name is Javier C. He said that he wasn't our waiter so I got up to ask the front if we could order come to find out, she was the manager manager ordered my food, but didn't complete my order so as she brings out my food, I'm thinking that she's bringing my husband food too. They don't bring out the food so then I asked the gentleman who said that he wasn't our waiter. He was like he didn't know. This place has got to be the worse Denny's I have ever eaten at. We ordered biscuits and gravy with an egg and sausage and my husband ordered french toast. We picked up our order and it was something I have never seen before and a English muffin. The French toast was ok. So I sent my husband back and he came back with some chewy bisquets with pieces of chicken strips and gravy on top, tasted terrible. It sure wasn't the bisquit and gravy I remember. No Suger or cream for my coffee. I don't recommend this Denny's to stop and eat at. Just a few miles up the road in Tracy is a good Denny's and it's worth the extra miles read more

I'm sorry but homeless walking in and literally eating off of the dirty trays dolly . I've lost my appetite. Then proceeding to stay in bathroom for 35 minutes?!!! Safety should be paramount for Denny, not only for customers but their hard working staff! We all have problems but enabling the homeless isn't a solution for the manager of Dennys or ANYONE for that matter! Dennys use to be so nice ...no excuses . The staff cares. I have always got my food on time and the way I like it. The staff checks in on me to see if I need anything else. I am allowed to seat in any available area in the restaurant. We ordered a bacon, avocado omelette, and the chicken fried steak and eggs. To drink, we ordered an apple juice for a toddler, two waters, and one coffee. The server forgot one of the waters (and never brought it) and dropped off a random orange juice that no one ordered and then never returned to our table so we could tell her it wasn't ours. The omelette was good and it had nice big chunks of bacon in it. The chicken fried steak was also very good. It wasn't huge, but the perfect size for breakfast. It comes with a choice of 2 or 3 eggs. I got 2 sunny side up and cooked perfectly. Also had a choice of 1 or 2 slices of toast and either hash browns or country potatoes. Usually, I have to ask for no onion or bell peppers in country potatoes, but these come plain anyway and were very good. I know we will definitely be returning. The only down side was they charged us for the orange juice they brought by mistake!

I wished the experience was smoother. Place could use a renovation or brighter lights. The Squash Soup was ok. If I was in the area I would come. Even for the birthday reward, I would not go out of the way to come anymore. Doe the past 2 to 3 years, there was no purchase requirement. Honestly the Carrot Cake was delicious , thus I came to get the slice reward. Because of the unfriendly customer service, I may not even come for lunches.

I placed an online order added an extra meat did not receive any call from the restaurant to let me know they could not do it. They just added extra of a meat that I did not request. Seems like this could be easily taken care of to just remake a new sandwich, but they would not do that nor offer any credit or a refund; all of which I would accept. it's not acceptable that when a restaurant can't make something the way you've ordered it to then contact the customer to tell them so rather than just make the decision on your own to make it differently. I would also change my review on here, pending a response from the business owner to fix this. I guess we'll have to see what happens by yelp response. The order was placed online through the yelp platform. I believe it was delivered by DoorDash so ultimately the only one that would be responsible is the restaurant itself.

Not every bartender makes it it makes it well, their's was pretty good. Inside the hotel lobby there is plenty of comfortable seating. This was a very good experience, hotel bar or not.
