The waitress named Connie was very rude, when she brought food she didn't even bring utensils when I cut into my steak I found two hairs I asked for a supervisor all he did was give us a new steak, and after they brought the new steak she was angry because she gave us the wrong fries that we specifically ordered,she never once came back to our table to see if we needed a refill if we were okay? Waited 15 minutes just to order drinks. Silverware was covered in food and grease, even after being replaced. Imagine what the cups look like without the dark colored soda covering who knows what. Got the refill look at that crusty rim. I scraped the residue off with my nail. Disgusting. At this point afraid to eat anything off these dirty plates. This place should be shut down based off the dishes they serve the food on. If dishes aren't cleaned properly, bugs and rodents will come. Never eat here. read more

i was skeptical about the low rating here but i totally had a 5 star experience?? we were seated right away and our waitress helped me order the dish i wanted but for cheaper (i did a build your own grand slam but she said she'll put it in as the regular grand slam since it was the same food but cheaper). hash browns were UNREAL and service was great. fabulous experience and great prices read more

This location is so clean and my party of 5 got seated in less than 5 minutes- great for a Sunday afternoon in Torrance! So....where do I begin? My wife,her bestie n I go to eat. My wife ordered a Grand Slam Jr n her bestie ordered a Make Your Own Breakfast. Mind you...I didn't eat but met up w them after work. Their waiter was named Frederico(don't know why he's even in Food Service)was so janky at helping them it was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! It only took them 45 mins to get their food and drinks(record serving 0time!!),failed to make eye contact so they couldn't ask for service. Not to mention he asked my wife for coffee refills and NEVER came back with it until we were about to leave. Never had a problem here in the 20+ years we've been going there. Doubt we'll go back. It's been awhile since I've been at this particular Denny's location. I came here cause my sister treated me for breakfast. It was the first week of Dec 2019 and the beautiful Christmas decorations are up. I love this Denny's location, because it's clean and the service is quick. I live next to the Denny's on Rosecrans Ave & Inglewood Ave but I never liked going there cause it's dirty and small. We had a lovely server who was very attentive & friendly. It didn't take long for our food to arrive after we had ordered them about 20 mins before we got them. It wasn't busy. Maybe close to Christmas and New Years it will be. But positive things in mind about this location. I will be coming here often. read more

My wife and I just had a hour long dinner at this location. The date was 8/19 @ 4:00 PM. This was the worst service that I have ever experienced at a Denny's restaurant. 1. The server was the only person serving the entire restaurant and she (in my observation) was incapable of providing the require service. 2. The "Chicken Noodle Soup" was a brownish hue and slightly warmed with swollen noodles. It looked like it had been there all day. 3. The salad I had was a pile of lettuce with some raisins all of which were at the bottom of the bowel. When we asked for our check after waiting about 5 min we got up and found our server making milk shakes I would better train the server fire the cook and make sure that there is competent management at that location. read more

This 5 star is for Jessica. My boyfriend and I came here around 11:30pm to be ignored by the terrible servers. We waited for 10 minutes and weren't greeted and it was Jessica, the HOST, who took down our order and delivered our meals to us. Regardless of the traffic that occurred this night, Jessica's service was unparalleled and from my observation it looked like she was also servicing other multiple tables, while welcoming incoming patrons. Above all; she maintained her cool and delivered service that was way beyond I could possibly imagine. While our food may have taken forever; this isn't Jessica's fault as this Dennys may have been short staffed. I am writing this smashing review so that Jessica receives some recognition. Please be advised that this particular employee offered outstanding service to all tables regardless of how terrible busy it was, Jessica ensured an enjoyable experience without lack of service. read more

My friend and I decided to give this Denny's a try and mannnn, we were SOOOO disappointed. First their soda machine was broken and wouldn't dispense certain flavors. Waitress forgot to bring my friend water. I ordered the Garlic Pepper Sirloin and it was way over cooked and tasted awful! The waitress came by after we took our first bite and asked how it was and I told her the steak was way over cooked and tasted horrible and she shrugged her shoulders and said I'm sorry, and walked away! I was starving and ate my veggies and some mashed potatoes until I was able to find the manager, FRANCISCO, he looked at me like I was crazy when I told him I was unhappy with this steak, mind you, I only took 1 bite of the steak. I tell him I would like him to exchange this for a Cali Burrito and if the steak costs more I will pay for the steak but would like to have the Cali burrito in its place. Waitress brings my burrito, looks at my steak and goes "oh my, that looks awful, I'm going to show the chef" Francisco (manager) brings our bill and says he took the steak off the bill and places the bill upside down on the table and walks away, when I look at the bill he only discounted the bill $7 and change and bills us for the bad steak meal as well as my burrito. When I went to pay our waitress advised the manager discounted me for the "cost" of the steak alone since I ate the 8 half sizes of zucchini's and half of the portion of my mashed potatoes. I told her I am appalled, I didn't realize we are nickel and diming here. (I would have pulled out a scale to weigh the last bit of the mashed potatoes to ensure I was billed and credited accordingly. Edit:: I forgot to mention, as the waitress told me about being billed for the veggies and half the mashed potatoes, I told her "but I told you immediately that there was an issue with my food and you didn't do anything about it and of course being hungry I was munching on what was in-front of me until I could find the manager" she apologize and said she understands me being upset. I frequent this Dennys. We've always received good service and food, but tonight was exceptional. Our waiter Andrew was amazing. He was fast and efficient. He ensured all our needs were met, offering a smile and kindness. We felt like we were the only ones in the restuarant. Being a former restaurant manager I expect good service, but Andrew went above and beyond with excellence. I would hire him anyday. I went to this Dennys this past Sunday and had a bad experience. We were told it would take 10 to 15min to be seated. After 20 min we were still waiting and we noticed another guest complain about the wait time. They tell you a time and it is not a accurate time. So they announced to us that the kitchen was backed up and that they wouldn't be sitting anyone in the next 20 minutes. Other people started to walk out and go elsewhere. We decided to wait because we were next in the list. We got our order everything went well until we couldn't get a hold of our server because she left to another section. We had to go look for her..
