One star is toooooooo generous. I walked into this place and the manager ignored me. I wasn't upset since I had to go to the bathroom. But when I came out of the bathroom I was standing there for 15 mins while he was doing god knows whatever he does. I couldn't leave since I was meeting a friend there. I finally got seated, and we ordered our food probably within the first 5 minutes of sitting down, but why did it have to take 25 minutes to get our food. By the time we got our food which was way over cooked, I just wanted to get up and leave. My friend ended up paying for our meals by taking the receipt and cash and setting it on the counter next to the cash register in front of the manager who was again (god know whatever he does) doing. When we booked it out of there. But as soon as we get to her car she says she left her ear bud in the place, and ran back in to get it, only to be confronted in rude manner and tone by this manger telling her she didn't pay for her meal. The worst Dennys I have been to. The food was not cooked properly, my hash browns were burnt on the outside, and basically mashed taters on the inside. Our waitress was bleeding on her right elbow (we did not notice this until after we ate) The glasses were not clean, the waitress kept forgetting things, for 2 close tables also. I used to come here weekly before I moved out of state. Awesome service every time I stop by. Come by late at night for great food, service and awesome conversations with the staff. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the manager that was on duty tonight. The manager was at the front when we (2 of us) walked in. He waited a few to seat us and then disappeared. He wasn't all that friendly. According to the staff, he is constantly just sitting in the back,and eating, not helping his staff. I saw this tonight. Well I didn't want to give this Denny's a star. But just for review purposes I had to. So we decided to stop here on our way back home and decided to order what we usually order at other Denny's. When out of the blue the manager from the place comes over and starts telling us that we had order a lot. And that he wouldn't finish all of the food. Like OMG who Efff*** cares how much we ate?!!!! Slow, slow service, what were we thinking? The food can't be that much better, I'm sure. First time I've been in a Denny's and no wonder the one closest down on Speedway. Lots of slow working employees. Took 20 minutes just to get our drink order another 10 minutes to get the drinks. Tables stay dirty forever too. I will not be back. We were staying at one of the neighboring motels and they recommended Denny's. Our son, daughter and grandkids joined us for dinner. Everyone cleaned their plates. Daughter shared the Bourbon Chicken with her daughter. Son had a great looking skillet meal. My husband had the double cheeseburger and I ordered the 55+Club. Fast, friendly service. Food came out prepared and served perfectly. I used my AARP card for a 15% discount. Add Breakfast Take Out....$4 Biscuits and Gravy was fantastic way to start the day. read more

Mehhh... Denny's isn't bad, but not that great. I was babysitting and ordered the kids pasta. Jacob said he hated it. I don't know why. My meal was the pancakes and bacon with egg. Forgot what's it called. But it was pretty good! Not amazing, but good. The server was kind, but at one point I saw a lady pointing at Jacob and whispering with another lady. That got me mad. Went to eat supper and everyone was very friendly, got our tea and was sitting looking at menu and mmmmm caught something out of the corner of my eye so I looked again and omg there was a huge cockroach running across the floor. And no I was not the only one who seen it. So of course we did not drink our tea which by the way cost way to much. We got up paid for our tea and left. If I could give negative stars I would! This place does not have a manager on duty or if there I is, he's in the bathroom sniffing glue. Asked for water with a lemon wedge, water arrived fine, lemon wedge not so much, drank the water and an hour later she bought the lemon. Waited for an hour plus for our dinners, then no silver ware. Waited while they were putting together a cob salad with chicken( yup they served the dinners before the salad) could not get the Salad, or the silver ware, finally asked for boxes to get it to go, they couldn't find the boxes. We dined at this Denny's location several times during the winter season, when the nearby IHOP was packed to capacity. Needless to say, as someone who remembers the nasty, cigarette smoke and cold crisco smelling Denny's locations of yore, I was pleasantly surprised. Not only was the restaurant spotless, the wait staff were friendly, and the food was very fresh, and piping hot. I am visiting my children and grandchildren this week from California and Denny's is my breakfast stand by place. We woke up early 5:00 AM & needed coffee ! Keiyana C greeted us with a beautiful smile and a pleasant personality! She accommodated me and my "DIVA" way with the way that I prefer my coffee ( 1/2 cup LOTS OF CREAM) she brought me two ! She also helped us decide what was best to order for my granddaughter without spending a lot of extra money on side dishes !! SHE ROCKED !! Went here for my free birthday breakfast grand slam and the staff was incredibly nice and friendly.

Stopped for a late lunch after a driving tour of the area. The blackberry shake caught my eye. Had to have one with my prime rib cove salad. Good choice. The greens were a mix of baby greens and very fresh. Beef was tasty and tender. Generous portion. The shake was yummy. Service was a tad slow, but not too bad. We could see our order sitting on the counter for quite awhile before we were served, but the waitress was attentive and asked us if we qualified for a discount (AARP, Military, or AAA). Usually you have to ask for a discount, so that was nice. We would eat here again. read more

like the worst every dennys i been to!! there was only 2 waitress's and so they shoved every person that came in to one corner of the restaurant, it was so damn loud with a table of teenage girls and then a table of meat head guys being loud and playing on their phones. then a table of 2 older men talking so loud as well. i had a headache just sitting there. the waitress was pushy and rude. the glasses were dirty, my kids food was under cooked GROSS. mangers were jack asses and didnt ask how it was. then i took the kids to the bathroom, which was beyond gross as well, there were bug crawling all over the place, so i can just wonder what the rest of the place looks like. I come here periodically, and I have to say that the food is superb. Everything I order comes out right the first time and the wait staff is very friendly and professional. Either day or late night, the staff does not disappoint. I feel that they actually care about me. The restaurant is very clean which really impresses me, and a well - lighted parking lot doesn't hurt either.
