The food was good however the service was terrible. The waitress did not give me any recommendations when I asked. I went on a Monday when it was slow alone and was told to pay before I even received my food. Even after that they forget my drink that I ordered. I observed everyone pay for their meal after comfortably dining. The reason I chose to come here was becomes the amazing reviews I saw. If you are a young African American and you come here beware. My wife and I never knew of of this gem and they've been around for 17 years! We're definitely coming back to try other things off the menu. We got the calamari appetizer, I got the "hot n juicy" cocktail and that was fuego! For dinner I got the lamb burger which tasted great and the service was also on point. This used to be THE spot. Food is for the most part good, drinks are tasty, vibes are there. Servers are friendly and attentive. I wouldn't recommend the hookah, it's not the best. Her recommendations were absolutely perfect! She did her best to seat us at a table we wanted as we were tHere with our friends and wanted to sit by the right area where the bit fire are located .ALL of the staff were so friendly and absolutely helpful and made us to feel so welcomed. Check out their vegan menu! It's not included in their regular menu ( not sure why), but if you ask, they do have a separate vegan menu. Their vegan potato truffle pizza and garlic fries are one of my favorite meals on Earth! Red sangria is also quite tasty. Service has always been friendly and nice to sit outside. One of our regular spots for the patio with the pitfire, their amazing service (especially receptionist, Joy), and their drinks. The hookah is good but not authentic. We can barely taste the double apple flavor. Their pizzas & kabob plates are always ba hit. My first time trying their manaish (zaatar) flatbread and regretted ordering it because the zaatar was way too bitter, even with the fresh toppings it was pretty bad. On a better note, their kibbeh on yogurt (regretfully didn't take a pic) is hands down the best!!! So is their crab cakes. Of course made my reservations on Yelp, got seated in my requested spot right away. Love them for this!!! The food here was amazing!! I got the quinoa salad w chicken and my friend got a pizza and both were amazing!! The sangria is also great, tastes like it did in Spain. Also our server (did not catch her name, she was a younger girl with short black hair) was very nice and told us some more about the neighbourhood. Very clean bathrooms (a must in my opinion). - I had the Shakshuka, which is an egg dish with tomato, some spices, and pita - really good! - my Dad had the standard eggs, bacon, potatoes - was very happy with it - his friend had Blue Crab Eggs Benedict (she said it was very good). Being in the area, we have been to many Hookah Lounges but I have never been to a place with worse costumer service than this place. We came here on a Saturday with some friends with reservations. Not only did they have us wait an hour for our table because they had sat someone in our sit hoping they would leave by our arrival time but they were incredibly rude and disrespectful about it. They also overcharged us having us send the check back. One of the most horrible hookah lounges I have ever been too which is saying a lot. Would not recommend, there is much better lounges around. I love this place, one of my go to spots. Lunch, brunch, dinner or late night coffee/desert or drinks, I always enjoy my meal here. Food is great, Ambiance is amazing and service is good . Not too fancy but nice enough for celebrations and date or girls night. We arrived at 10:30 pm and were notified that the kitchen was closed, which is weird since they close at 12:00 am, but we decided to stay for the hookah. We got our hookah around 10:50 pm and stayed until 11:20 pm, when the worker came and rudely told us that they were officially closed and that we needed to leave. If we had known they would be closing sooner than the time they had posted, we would have gone elsewhere. Feels like we were scammed; we couldn't even finish the slices of cake we ordered. Came here on a Sunday, felt rushed. They close at 12am, but turned off the lights at 11:30pm and made an announcement saying they are closed and to get out. Very rude. I typically never leave reviews but I had not been this disappointed in so long that I had to write one. The entire experience was a waste of a night, waiting to be seated (and we showed up on-time for our reservation), waiting for dessert, and waiting 20 minutes to get our check. Just waiting for the staff to get it together. Extremely disappointed with the customer service mostly from the restaurant owners. Clearly they were under-staffed for the Valentine's Day rush. The staff were spread too thin, running back and forth from serving plates to preparing the drinks. And it showed in their selective customer service. The menu was limited down to only select plates and no where when making the reservation days ahead was that indicated. The table next to us had been served food that was no where on the Valentine's menu. We are not the type to complain and be a nuisance, but my husband's food was cold. Both of the owners (the older woman and man) have such terrible customer service that they had the poor habit of looking either past us or through us as if we weren't there. Not once did they acknowledge us or ask is everything okay, can we get you anything else, never checked on how we were doing. The only ones the owners cater to are their own family members and friends. If they only provide excellent customer service to family and friends then they need to make this a private business only. We took a chance trying this place for the first time and will absolutely not be returning again. read more

Terrible experience. The food was low quality, like frozen grocery store meals--definitely not worth it. To make matters worse, we parked in a handicap space with a valid placard, but the staff made us move, claiming it was private parking.
