The food is always fresh and tasty here. Looking forward to having this tomorrow for lunch. The service was OK - the person helping me was very friendly and we were both a little confused on how the pickup goes with the surprise meal. Another staff person chimed in and was not as friendly - they were instructing the person helping me in a non-supportive way. It's the end of the day and I'm sure everyone is tired. I loved that the veggies were not bland but nicely seasoned, and crisp and not soggy. It was difficult to choose just 2 veggie sides as they all looked delicious. So happy I stumbled upon this place while walking around the seaport district! The interior is super cute with some seating in the front. This is a build your own bowl type of place. I also love that you can order sides separately if you didn't want a bowl. I opted for the farmer bowl. This includes a base and 3 sides. You can add extra sides and protein for an extra cost. For the base, you can do 1/2 and 1/2! I did the greens and farro, which made for a very hearty base. I got the sweet potato, cauliflower, and Persian cucumbers as my sides. This bowl was absolutely delicious and SO filling. The food is fresh, and I love that I felt full in the best way possible. There are options for family meals, which I think is a fantastic idea! 3.5 Stars - Here's the scene: I ordered takeout from Dig on a Thursday night, after rush hour. I ordered from the app which was fairly easy to do and picked it up. The inside looks like an average "Build Your Own" fast food restaurant, so no complaints there. There were a good amount of workers behind the counter and only one bag at the ready, which was mine. The cashier, who seemed annoyed that I was there for some reason with one AirPod in her ear, gave me my bag rather quickly and I started my walk home. There was one person sitting down eating in the restaurant as I left, so they weren't overwhelmed with orders or anything... when I got home I realized they forgot to make one of the three bowls I ordered. Absolute bummer. In hindsight I should have looked in the bag, but it sometimes just slips the mind, right? I called them when I got home and they refunded me right away (for some reason not for the price of the entire bowl, .59¢ less than the price of the bowl which irked me but whatever). The refund was fast, so I guess glass-half-full that was an easy process. I had the Crispy Chicken Kale Caesar, it was pretty good!! Just an unfortunate experience, really inconvenient for my bowl-less friend. I will most likely go back so I can try it again because the food was good and it was fair for the price. Always missing something.. I am a big fan of this place as it is close to my workplace and usually order the same thing which is the custom protein bowl with 2 x salmon. Unfortunately, tonight was the last night I will be ordering from DIG because they can never get my order correct. They are always missing something and they never include utensils in an order even after specifying to include them. Really quality food, guaranteed healthy, whole food ingredients and all reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the root vegetables and sweet potatoes. Salmon and chicken were cooked nicely as well.
