Nice local establishment. The restaurant is in what appears to be a converted beach house. There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant. When you arrive you are met by a greeter who makes you feel right at home. I ordered fried fish and scallops with my spouse. The food and service were both great. We've been coming down this area for years and have passed by Dockside Dave's many times. We will always make it a part of our dinners out when we are down here. My wife had the scallops with rice and vegetables and they were awesome. I had the grouper sandwich and it was huge and tasted great. We ordered a couple of appetizers and our bill was the cheapest of any of the places we've gone to eat down here (our food portions here were much larger). The burger is also always delicious and hand pressed as opposed to a frozen patty. Sauces are in huge dispensers as your table and rolls of paper towels are as well so you'll never wait around for more sauce or napkins. Really good rings and they had a nice batter to them. Served with a horseradish sauce and ketchup- horseradish had great flavor but no heat, which worked out well. We got two grouper sandwiches and shared - one Buffalo and one blackened. The blackened needed some salt but that little salt made a world of difference. Great spice to the blackening! The Buffalo was very good as well. Had it with fries which were waffle cut and had the same seasoning as the rings, and were quite tasty. Ended with a slice of key lime pie. While they don't make it in house, they add some crumbled Oreos on top and was a nice touch at to end the meal.
