Stopped by Dough Zone shortly after moving to Seattle. Parking can be a bit challenging given the restaurant is located in the heart of the International District, so we opted to take the light rail to the International District station as it is very close by. When you arrive you'll add your name to the wait list. Don't be discouraged if the quoted wait time seems long. It may be a good excuse to go grab bubble tea or run to Uwajimaya and come back once your table is ready. Once seated you'll be handed a large menu and be seated in the main dining room. The glass windows are fun as you are really feel like your in the center of the International District here. For food we ordered the beef pancake roll (Green Onion Pancake rolled into a wrap with seasoned beef shank, shredded lettuce, and our savory house sauce), the Xiao Long Bao, and pork Q-Bao. By far my favorite item was the pork Q-Bao. I go back and forth on if I love the Xiao Long Bao at Dough Zone or favor Din Tai Fung but it is good. Definitely recommend checking out this restaurant if you are in the international district.

Great spot! Food was delicious - they are known for their Pork Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings) and highly recommend adding this to your order if they aren't already on there. The chicken and vegetable dumplings and sweet and sour cucumbers were also top notch - super tasty!! The beef pancake roll was also good, but I would try something different next time. We were sat right away, menus had helpful pictures, and you easily order from a QR code on the table (though alcohol was not ordered through the QR code). Food came very quickly! I'll definitely be returning when I'm back in Seattle!

My husband and I were visiting the area, and I really wanted dumplings before we left. We were here on a Saturday night around 8 and were seated right away (though most tables were full). I didn't realize at first, but you do need to order off the QR code instead of with a server. The server brought water quickly and was good with refills. We ordered some chicken dumplings, which honestly took a while. The dumplings were good, but not great. I wish they had come with a sauce as I wasn't a fan of the ginger sauce on the table. Overall, I would probably try a different restaurant for dumplings the next time we're in the area, but I did like that this one was open late compared to others in the area.

Nothing wrong with dough zone. The food is ok-good, and the prices are fair relative to comparable places. However, with that said, idk. I just feel like if you're going to shell out $ and dine out for this type of food, you might as well pay a lil bit extra for better quality. Out of everything we ordered, my favorite was actually their cucumber salad hahaha. The pan fried dumplings were also solid. Everything else was pretty mid!

Phenomenal! We ordered a slew of things. Cucumbers in spicy chili oil , chicken and veggie wontons, chicken potstickers a beef sandwich and Dan Dan noodles. All was delicious! You order from a QR Code menu and they deliver it to your table. Fast and delicious! Nothing was too heavy. Highly recommend!

Decided to try Dough Zone on a Monday for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. There is paid street parking, if not there is a paid parking lot right behind the restaurant. The staff were friendly and we were seated immediately by the window. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean; the bathrooms are right outside and need a code to get in. The prices were so good that we tried a variety of dishes. We ordered the Green Onion Pancake, Sweet and Sour Cucumbers, Dan Dan Noodles, Yibin Noodles, Chicken Potstickers, and Chicken and Vegetable Won Tons with Spicy Sauce. We also got their Ube Milk Tea. Great balance of flavors. The filling for the dumplings and won tons are a little dense but still good. The cucumbers don't look like much but they have such a nice crunch and super refreshing. The milk tea had good ube flavor without tasting artificial.

I'm speechless. Recommend the xoa long bao and the dan dan noodles! The chrysanthemum tea was an exceptional delight. We appreciated the natural lighting and sleek interior!

It was fairly quiet for a Friday afternoon. We came in and it looked nice, clean, and friendly. They were helpful with the menu and recommended some items for us. We got their original tan tan noodles, soup dumplings and one other item to try. Overall I would come back to try more items on the menu.

So delicious!! And any restaurant with the option to eat delicious food for under $10 in Seattle deserves ten stars. Our favorite was the beef steamed dumplings! Next favorite was the pork soup dumplings! We will absolutely be back to try more. Can't wait! I will be dreaming about dumplings

I can't believe I had to travel all the way to Seattle to experience the best dumplings I've ever had! My girlfriends and I wanted something different aside from all the chowders we've consumed all weekend and took a short walk here from our hotel. I wouldn't suggest walking, just uber or drive if you're a local. Now let me tell you about the food! We shared a few items and everything we ordered was so damn good! I was so busy eating I'm surprised I was able to take a few pics of the food. It was honestly the best dumplings I've ever had, so flavorful that my mouth is watering as I type this! And it was super affordable too! If I visit Seattle again this is where I'm going first! Happy eating!!

Today was great as no line was there even for a weekend. I was taken to a table next to the window. Food was always good but the seasonal crepe was a little bit too sweet to me. I still loved the tea, which was strong and robust.

Good food and nice location. The service is mediocre. Everything is done via cell phone. We got there and there were empty tables and staff standing around. Instead of helping us when we said 2 she rudely told us to check in. We were there a couple of days before and someone asked us how many and walked us to our table. It was a Friday night. Not particularly busy at 9pm. Reasonably priced. Small portions on some items. I had the beef stew. It was very good on a cold rainy night.

From one Asian to another....how do you not have any rice?

Do you accept Amex credit cards?

    Yes they accept AmEx.

Do we need reservations to get a spot?

You can get on the yelp waitlist when you get there or when you're almost there. As far as I know and have seen, this is the only way to get a spot! (tldr: no res only waitlist )

Are you guys open for dine in today; New Years Eve?

Are they open on Christmas? If so, what are their hours?

All our locations will be open for take-out and delivery on Christmas at regular hours. As usual, you can order take-out by giving us a call or order on DoorDash/Caviar/Chowbus for delivery.

What gluten free options are available? I don't expect there to be many, but it's nice to have a little when others order it :)

Absolutely there are plenty of dumplings made with only rice flour or even tapioca flour. And there are awesome meet and veggie appetizers like spicy beef brisket and tendon and crispy tofu those are all gluten free . There are dumplings made with…

Do they have a parking lot or just street parking?

Street Parking or Paid Lot parking only.

Can you take food to go?

The website menu doesn't show any gluten-free options. Are there any? I am meeting friends here and don't want to end up just watching them eat delicious dumplings and not have anything myself.

I am afraid the answer is no. I have a menu at my desk and see nothing about gluten free or even asking for options. Some of the noodle dishes might be gluten free depending on what kind of noodle it is but also not sure how sensitive you are to…

    Yes!

Anyone know for certain which marked vegetarian items also happen to be vegan (or can be)?

This is my question also. Ryan, Vegetarian is as far from Vegan as Omnivore is from Vegetarian. Daren, from my research there are NO VEGAN options. Sadly my office has 'lunches' there and I eat before we go and then drink tea. All the wraps have…

With just the right amount of their house-seasoned soy sauce, it was perfection. The restaurant is small, and the dining room was completely full and buzzing with conversation. The AC was also extremely weak--to the point that it felt almost nonexistent. There were basically only two staff members serving the entire room, so while they weren't overly attentive, our water was refilled promptly and empty plates were cleared quickly. It was so loud that the waitress misheard our shrimp order, so we ended up waiting a little longer for the correct dish. However, it still arrived before the clay pot rice. We had already been warned that the clay pot rice takes more than 20 minutes to prepare, so it wasn't a problem. Overall, I really enjoyed dining here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for legitimate, fast-casual Cantonese food. Just look around the dining room--it was about 99% Chinese diners, so you know it's the real deal.
