We used to love this place. I feel like things went down hill with the management change. We went last night to give it another try and unfortunately wont be back. It took forever to get our drinks and food. When the food finally arrived, it was cold and the burger was well done when we ordered medium. Also, we had to go into the bar to get our own napkins and silverware since the wait staff was basically non-existent. Our server was apologetic and said they were short staffed, but with their prices, there shouldn't be excuses. I don't see this place staying in business too long. read more

I seated myself as the girl or hostess says they are cleaning off some tables and will seat these people (that were not here) so I seated myself the hostess brings me water. People start to come they sat down. The servers come right over and take their order never making eye contact. Finally after taking these 3 other groups orders, one girl says have you been helped? I looked at her and said no. She took my order, I asked her were their reservations as when I got here no one was her. She said she apologized the girl was new. She brings my food, but at this point I am turned off to the restaurant and service. I am a black women who came in alone where there were just empty tables. AUBREY IS AMAZING. My boyfriend and I came here for a little date night on a fairly busy Saturday night. The music is so calming and nice. The outside fire pits are so pretty, but it was a little chilly so we decided to sit inside this time. We've been here a couple times before and the food and drinks are always great, but this time the service really stood out to us. Aubrey was so kind and attentive. She returned with each item after we ordered it so quickly. She had great recommendations on the menu (I got the mac n cheese with bacon and it was GREAT - and I'm a mac n cheese fanatic) and my boyfriend got the pesto chicken sandwich, that he LOVED as well. Horrible service as usual! Sat at the bar with my wife, the slow lazy bartender walked around the bar and did not ask to take drink orders as we sat there for nearly 15 minutes. Want poor customer service? This is your place! We arrived around 6:30. Were told that we're not able to be served. Kitchen was closed. When asked when it closed, was told "one minute ago." When asked if we could be served, answer was, "No!" When asked why, we were told, "We don't want to upset our kitchen staff who are off now." When asked, do you normally close at this hour, they said, "No" This place cares more about their kitchen staff than there paying customers. And, there was hardly anyone in the place! We are older folks and we tried to take our puppy with us at as it's her birthday to the outdoor patio where we were greeted with such beautiful customers, but however, the server came out and told us sorry no doggies so we went across the street to Anthony's where we always know they have great food we could sit on the patio we can have our puppy and all is well. We arrived for dinner at 8pm, knowing that it says online that they close at 9. We were pleasantly surprised to see a good number of tables outside occupied. So we asked for a table outside and they sat us down. They handed us menus. And within 2 minutes our waiter came over to us and introduced himself and asked us if we knew what we wanted. We hadn't chosen yet and when we told the waiter we were still deciding he rolled his eyes and looked at his watch said "last call in the kitchen is in 8 minutes so I'm gonna need you to hurry up" he left and came back a couple of minutes later. While taking our order he seemed restless and anxious, he kept looking at his watch and tapping his hand on the table! I asked a couple of menu questions and it seemed as if that was a real problem or inconvenience, that I'd asked. Our appetizers arrived, I asked about if the kitchen was closing or closed, could I order desert now and I got another sigh and a suck of the teeth, well the kitchen is closed but I'll see what I can do! We had only got 3-4 minutes into eating the appetizers before our mains came out. So by the time we finished eating (some of) our appetizer and got to our mains they had already been out in the air and cooled down. My medium rare ribeye steak was tough, gristly and more like medium well done. But overall the food had fantastic flavor. Within 5 minutes of us starting to eat our main, and before we were even halfway through our mains, the desert came out! We hadn't even finished our main course and our waiter came over and asked us if we wanted boxes for any of our food. By this point we felt so unwelcome and rushed we'd not eaten all of our appetizers, or our mains and now hadn't eaten our desert at all. He brought nowhere near enough boxes for all the food still to be consumed, so we asked for more and got the eye roll again! We asked a question about the food and he said - I'm just the waiter, i have no idea - I leave that up to the kitchen and then he looked at his watch and walked away. - I'm not in the service industry but even I know the right thing to do, would be to go to the kitchen and get the answer to our question. Once we got the boxes we put everything in. It was around 30 minutes from taking our seats to "do you want a box" Then after all that rushing we had to wait 10 minutes for our waiter to bring the check. During that wait time the other staff were cleaning up around us and they switched the outside lights off. It was super dark around us while we waited for our waiter - we noticed he was in the carpark pacing up and down on a phone call. When our waiter finally handed us the check he said "sorry you had to wait, I work in real estate and I get important calls pretty late!" I now suspect his watch was an Apple Watch and he was receiving text messages while serving us! The absolute rudeness, poor service and a -$160 check for such rushed service, completely ruined our night. We were celebrating a special occasion and it didn't feel very special. You get better service at an Applebee's! Which is a shame because the food is good. An empty apology and a "we're always looking to improve" from the "owner" just isn't enough to get us past our experience! read more

I will tell you that if you enjoy ordering a drink and waiting a really long time to receive it, then this is your place. My husband and I went on a Tuesday for lunch at around noon. There were a few other tables sat, not busy at all. The waitress, although very nice, took forever to bring our drinks. When she brought our burger we asked for a knife to spread sauces that were brought on the side. She finally brought our silverware when we were just about done with our food. We improvised by using the fries as knives. When we were done with our food, again we waited and waited for her to return to our table, but she was nowhere insight. So I went inside and discovered her behind the bar wiping out glasses at a snail's pace. The sense of urgency and thoughtfulness completely gone. I've passed this place a handful of times downtown and always wanted to try it. Today was that day. We arrived around 1 on a Saturday and we're seated right away inside. Outdoor seating was all taken, but the patio is a nice look and would be great if you can snag a spot! A waiter come over almost immediately with menus and took drink orders, I had a craft beer on tap and my wife had the Peach Emoji. Drinks came a few minutes later. The bread was ice cold with a frosted glass, the wife's drink was nice big square cube in the middle with a peach ring garnish! We ordered the burrata appetizer and it came quickly! It was delicious! Burrata on sourdough with to you around and a balsamic glaze. It was a top 5 apps I've had! Best part of the meal! After the app the waitress kind of disappeared. It was probably 10 minutes after we finished the app someone even came by again. She wasn't our server but was nice enough to take our order and apologized for the lack of service. They weren't overly busy our server just went MIA. I had the brunch burger and my wife had the pork sandwich. Bothe came with fries. We were seated by the kitchen window so saw our food come up. Then it sat, and sat a bit. Then finally someone we hadn't seen before grabbed it and asked why it had been sitting etc and brought it out. Unfortunately my wife'a sandwich was super soggy from the juice and the sitting time. My burger was good, it was very large and hard to bite because it was so tall. Food was good though! Be ready to sling a few bucks as this place is trendy and comes with a price tag. Our 2 drinks, app, and 2 entrees ran us about $80. The Peanut Thai Salad with soy peanut dressing, assorted greens and cabbage topped with sesame seeds, almonds, and pickled ginger (vegan) didn't look good on the plate. It was a heap of big leafy greens with not finely chopped cabbage pieces. I paid for extra chicken breast that was dry. Dressing was the only good thing. It was a disappointment as I remember that this restaurant used to serve well presented and tastier dishes. We asked for a hamburger patty and the chef said no. we ordered the pretty greeky salad and wanted to add blackened chicken and also told no. just a grilled chicken breast was all we could add and it was very tough. One of us ordered the kicken chicken which ironically had "blackened chicken" The mac n cheese was very cheesy and a bit on the "rich" side, Too much for toddlers!! Rather pricy also! It is hard with this place.. sometimes it is on point, and the food is cooked well, and then the next time you come, the service sucks and the food is soggy. Today we came in, and it's a nice 100 degrees outside, but my waitress didn't think we needed to be served water, sat us, let us know she would get us some and then stayed away for almost ten minutes.. when we finally were served water, we ordered two iced teas with lemon, strawberry Brussels, feta fries, and Mac n cheese. When she came with the iced tea, I had to ask for a straw and the lemon she had forgotten. Ten minutes later, I asked another server for the straw and lemon, to which he returned a few minutes later. Another waitress delivered our food, and it was only in passing did our waitress ask if our meal looked ok, but could not be troubled to hear our response. After our drinks ran out, we decided to wave our waitress down to get boxes. You would have thought that meant we wanted to pay and leave, but alas... ten minutes later, I had to chase my waitress down, where she was hanging out by the kitchen chatting it up with her coworkers to get my check.. things I could suggest: 1. No one party should be more important than another. While watching my waitress, I did notice she was enamored with two particular parties. She doted on them continuously, while we had to fight to get service. It wasn't just us who got the cold shoulder, the table two tables down from me also seemed to suffer. Perhaps training a few staff members to do their rounds correctly would help ensure no one else was left thirsty. 2. The ambiance is just fine, but when it's 100 degrees, no one should go thirsty.. send a bus person out to ensure we aren't drying out. 3. Roaming managers.. I did not see a single one, and this would have helped a great deal if they were able to help out waitresses who are unprepared. 4. Consistency is key. With service and with food. read more

The mimosa however were poured great. The food was amazing. The price is a little costly but you definitely get what you pay for. On a nice and perfect day, it's nice to sit outside under the giant tree that provides plenty of shade while you enjoy a bottle of wine and the delicious hummus and veggies. The hummus comes with bread - - very tasty bread, by the way. I recommend you order a whole bread to dip in the hummus, as you get plenty of it. I'll have to return for food next time.
