Delicious food, complicated parking, tiny space. I heard about this place from a friend and we decided to have dinner here during the week. I had the Chicken Shawarma, a few pieces of falafel and an iced lemonade. The Chicken Shawarma (with Pita) was quite amazing. The pita itself was fresh and soft. It was sliced opened and I went down the line choosing the items I wanted. I had the hummus, veggie mix, red cabbage, pickles, and their mild sauce. I think it would have been a great wrap, regardless of what items I chose for my wrap. The falafel tasted fresh and quite good. You can order them by the piece at $.75/each. I also had the Beets and Pom Lemonade, which is very refreshing. I enjoy my dinner here. Seating inside is tight, however there are more than enough tables since I'm guessing most people order their food to go. There are also a few tables outside, but with no shade. Can be tough on hot, sunny days. The single counter where you order at is very close to the entrance of the door, which makes it very difficult to form a line. They should figure out the line situation. When the line grew longer, one of the staff members started taking orders with a tablet device. That helped shorten the line a great deal. Parking is pretty much nonexistent. Whenever a parking space opens up, another car is already waiting for that spot. There are several other business in the corner that share the parking lot. I'm not sure on the restrictions of the side streets, but Olympic Blvd had some parking. read more

I Googled items on their menu to try to decide what else to order because I wanted to try the restaurant close to my employer. This used to be my go-to place. They are generous, and their falafels are wonderful. However, two years ago, a falafel was $8, which seems reasonable to me. It is now $14, almost double the price, and quite expensive. A Chicken Shawarma salad in a bowl is $22, which is expensive, basically for fast-food. Food is good but prices have been increased past the point of return. I used to go here all the time then moved out and when I return the shawarma plate that used to be $19 is now close to $25. Sorry guys, maybe you don't understand inflation. Sure prices need to increase but it's not an opportunity to price gauge. Their prices have Gina up substantially more than any other méditerranéen place dollar for dollar. Definitely not my idea of what a sharma should taste like. Extremely bland meat. The portion sizes were also not big given the price point. Very unimpressed overall with the various sandwich options. The same for my friend who also ordered from here. Worst part is the customer service. Customer service definitely brought them down one star given that the expectation would be that you at least get somebody who is not incompetent are rude. Based on this experience I don't think I will try it again. There are definitely too many options out there with great shawarma. Would not recommend to a shawarma connoisseur. read more

I used to love this place but service sucks special the main guy that runs it in the front. I used to go here often before and 8 months ago I went service was amazing with the same guy, following next time I went service sucked i thought maybe he's having a bad day but then again today same thing so I'll probably not go here again. Foods ok and portions are smaller then competitors but if service was better I still like this place better. I used to recommend this place allot to allot of people such a shame to see such bad management and service. I hope it changes for the better. Amazing and clean place The cashier was very polite and know how to deal with 2 happy costumer like my friend and I . Great quality and super fast. The parking lot does have free valet parking only for costumers. They also have tables and chairs outside to enjoy sunny days. Just stoped over there because on the gps tHis was the closest kosher place to eat near me.. The food was delicious!!! The shawarma (mixed half chicken and half beef kosher of course) was great ! Unfortunately I'm not impressed. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate which came with three sides, and hummus. The shawarma itself consisted of chicken fat ... Had someone written a review about how fattening the meat really is here I wouldn't have spent 17.95 on a plate of Mediterranean food that did not taste very Mediterranean whatsoever. Nor did I consume even a fraction of it. I went with a friend that's full on Kosher so I expected the Isreali salad and so forth but the lack of flavor and the quality of meat really had me confused. The greatest attributes of this place are that it's located in Beverly Hills, has a highly accessible parking lot, is extremely clean on the inside, and the fresh pita is literally AMAZING. It's the only portion of my meal that I ACTUALLY ate. Oh and the presentations not half bad. My plate looks beautiful if only it were actually that good! Aside from the aforementioned, I do not see myself returning. It actually surprises me that people in Beverly Hills would consume such fattening meat, with little to no flavor, and a fusion of multiple cultures that somehow are supposed to reflect Mediterranean cuisine. Food is delicious. However, the staff are rude. We had ordered a bunch of food here and at the end of the meal my husband went up and asked for a few pickles for my daughter. Then our other daughter wanted a few pickles. When I approached the counter the worker ignored me even tho I was the only one at the counter. Without making eye contact, he asked "do you need a box"? When I asked him for a few more pickles he got all pissy and said he had just given some to my husband. I explained the situation. He got even more pissy saying he cant be doing this. SO glad I tried this place. I was getting my nails done nearby and all the other clients were talking about Dr. Sandwich. It was after work and I was starving. Obviously I YELP'd it as soon as I was finished ;) Reviews were good, it was new, clean, HEALTHY. I'm in. I got the chicken breast pita. Came out to over $11, so that's my minus one star :\ I feel like that's kinda pricey. It wasn't too crowded but I did wait a while, I guess because I got specifically chicken breast and not just regular seasoned chicken. Whatever, it was bearable. So it's Subway-ish, where you tell them what to put in it. I started with hummus, then cabbage, this veggie thing with cucumber and tomato, and then spicy sauce OBVI. They have a lot of options but I keep it simple. Okay so let me just tell you.. IT WAS SO BOMB! I felt like it was a big portion, even of chicken, which was cooked so well, not dry at all, nicely seasoned. I will definitely come back. High chaotic energy in this establishment. After getting home and transferring my meal to a plate, I noticed a human hair inside the salad (EW). I called and requested to speak to a manager to receive a refund - he was very rude and demanded I send him a picture to his personal phone, so I did. I only received a refund for 1 meal instead of the 2 I paid for - the 2nd meal was only salad from the same batch and chicken. DEF not eating that after finding a hair in the first plate. The manager should be replaced with someone more compassionate with better customer service skills. read more

A great little lunch spot for under $10 when you are needing a pit stop. The pita wrap sandwiches are stuffed to the brim (if you enjoy variety like me) and I love the new ceramic dishwear they serve them in so you can fork out the insides as a salad and use the pita as munch bread. This is an easy lunch spot if it's just you. The valet is usually full. I hate to admit this, but I usually park across the way at the pet store if there isn't any parking. Good luck! read more

De. Sandwich is normally one of my favorite place! But one thing that upset me is that you never know what you are going to receive. I order Postmates and the portion are nice, last time I came in with my kids and when we arrived at our picnic they left out the pitot (pita). Today I started eating from this plate only to realize that it was all rice underneath and no chicken. I hesitated twice before I thought to say something. The manager was kind and gave me this extra chicken. Also the last time we got 4 sides today three and the time before we could have anything we want ... in Israel you serve the sides yourself... bottom line there is no consistency. I drive from Ktown to bring my kids here and I hate to have to complain or to be looked like an ogre because I corrected the service personnel and indicated that 4 sides come with the plate. read more

Finally! A place in LA (/in the USA) that can make a good shawarma!! If you've had shawarma in the middle east, and loved it, you have to try this place. They do it right. Their chicken and their turkey shawarmas are both great. The pita bread is a little thick, but it's still good. Major props to Dr Sandwich for nailing the shawarma.
