They were okay. We went on a Saturday night, it was busy, the wait was not bad for our large party. We were lucky that we were able to sit around the fountain or in the chairs that were available, as it got busy there were A LOT of people standing. The hibachi chefs are great & know how to put in a show. They kept us engaged & entertained! Wait staff wasn't too bad, the only thing was we were around the hibachi table. A party of 14 so we had two chefs cooking our party's meal, totally understandable. But my chef started maybe 15-20 prior to the other side, maybe due to it being busy but the minute they cooked our last part of the meal they were handing out to go boxes & the bill not even 5 minutes later. The other side hadn't even had a chance to have their finished meals on their plate. Maybe not great for a large parties that want to enjoy it together. We felt very rushed. My mom & I are allergic to shrimp, we are grateful they prepared our meals in the kitchen. Ample servings, they are generous! Hibachi seating area was elbow to elbow, it was a little tight. I'm left handed, my sister in law was to my left & she is right handed. Cleanliness could be better. Fun birthday celebration with the drum as they bring out ice cream. 3.5 if I could give a half star, might give them another chance.

This was so fun! Recommend for a birthday or fun night out. The staff was fun and friendly and the service was excellent. The food was worth the price you're paying!

My 3 year old was thrilled! Our chef did an amazing job of judging when to get him involved and when to let him be shy.

Best hibachi ever. I've never been to a hibachi restaurant that was as full of laughter and charismatic chefs. Every single table was having so much fun and cheering on the other tables. The food was great, of course, but I was so impressed that my chef took special care to include my toddler! He rolled in cranky and starving-- and the staff made sure to get him some plain rice right when we sat down. The chef made him baby bites of steak and paid attention to the food he wanted-- seriously, it was amazing! I'm so glad we came here.

This is unacceptable for a sit down restaurant of this price point.

Food was good, but place is extremely dirty. Grease caked on everywhere, bathrooms smelled awful, and they used disposal bowls for salad and sauce...didn't even explain why or apologize.

Wicked Butcher has quickly become our favorite restaurant in the DFW area. We recently went for my…read morefiancé's birthday dinner, and once again, it did not disappoint. The ambiance and overall aesthetic are incredible, casual yet modern, with a classy upscale feel. From the moment you sit down, they set the tone by bringing out a complimentary glass of champagne, which is such a nice touch. They also bring fresh popovers (made fresh upon request), and they're always a great start to the meal. For appetizers, we ordered the hamachi crudo and oysters. The hamachi never disappoints, and the oysters were incredibly fresh and delicious. For our main course, we typically go with the dry-aged ribeye and a wedge salad. The ribeye is easily one of my favorite steaks in DFW, consistently cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. While the food is always excellent, the service is what truly sets Wicked Butcher apart. The staff is consistently attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in making the experience feel special. To top off the evening, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for my fiancé's birthday, and it was fantastic. One of the most impressive things about Wicked Butcher is that the pricing feels very fair for the level of quality, service, and overall experience. It delivers a high-end steakhouse experience without feeling outrageously expensive. Highly recommend.

The swank, Art Deco atmosphere matches the hotel perfectly, but the food is the real star. For lunch, the Wicked Burger was phenomenal. Built with cheddar, caramelized onions, mushrooms, and a rich sauce on a toasted sesame brioche bun, it hits every savory note perfectly. The rest of the table was equally thrilled with their choices, including the French Dip (loaded with caramelized onions, provolone, and horseradish-garlic aioli on a baguette with a stellar au jus) and the crisp Steak Cobb salad. The truffle fries were a massive hit and a frequent topic of conversation around the table, and even the fountain Diet Coke was perfectly calibrated. I'd be completely remiss if I didn't mention the monster rolls brought out for the table--they are giant, incredibly airy, golden popovers served with a spectacular rosemary honey butter that steals the show before the main course even arrives. For breakfast, I wanted to stay on the healthier side and ordered the Sinclair Breakfast with chicken sausage. The sausage delivered incredible flavor with a perfect, distinct peppery bite. The plate was beautifully balanced with delicate microgreens, and the breakfast potatoes were a total standout--perfectly executed with a great outer char and deep flavor. Paired with excellent, robust Lavazza drip coffee, it was a flawless start to the morning. Across both visits, the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and highly attentive with beverage refills. Top-tier service, great quality, and an absolute must-visit in Fort Worth.

For sides, I chose the mac and cheese, cornbread, tallow fries, and Brussels sprouts. This is the kind of meal you remember for a while. The Wagyu tomahawk ribeye was the star of the table. Tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich beefy taste you'd expect from a steak of that caliber. The garlic stuffed filet was incredibly tender and added another layer of flavor, while the New York strip had a great texture and a perfect mesquite grilled finish. The Gulf shrimp were cooked well and added a nice contrast to all the steak. Smoky, juicy, and full of flavor. The sides were excellent across the board. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the cornbread was warm and comforting, the tallow fries were crispy and addictive, and the Brussels sprouts provided a nice balance to the feast. The restaurant itself has a true Texas atmosphere with a rustic upscale feel. Service was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel special. This wasn't just dinner. It felt like a Texas steakhouse experience from start to finish. Definitely one of the most memorable meals I've had in the Dallas area.

Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.

The fried mushrooms were meh for me, and the salad was ok. That said, the bread that comes with the meal is excellent, and the creamed spinach was very good. I think they could step up their ranch game. The steak, though, absolutely stole the show. We ordered the Cattlemen's Porterhouse. It is a very large steak and easily enough for two people. You really just need to order an extra salad and maybe one or two sides. Ours was a little undercooked, but we did not send it back. We ate it and were still very, very happy with it. We also had the onion ring appetizer, which was excellent. They are onion rings, so don't go in expecting some world-changing event, but they were very good. Sweet onions, cooked well, and served with barbecue sauce and ranch. Do yourself a favor and skip the barbecue sauce. Get double ranch. Back to the steak: it was easily one of the top five best steaks I have ever had. I travel extensively for work, eat out often, and have been fortunate to visit some of the nicest steakhouses in the country. Maybe this was a one-time fluke, but gosh darn it, that steak was amazing. It is cooked over a wood-fired grill and has an incredible smoky char. The flaky salt they put on top after grilling just sets it off. It was phenomenally well seasoned. I highly recommend Cattlemen's. We will absolutely be back again -- just maybe not ordering the fried mushrooms next time. One tip: if there is a long wait, check OpenTable. We were told the wait was about an hour and a half, but I checked OpenTable and we were seated within about 15 minutes.

The iceberg wedge salad was fresh and well-balanced, with tangy dressing and blue cheese that complemented it nicely. The only downside was the wait-time estimate. The hostess quoted us 35 minutes, but we were seated in just 10. We had almost left for another restaurant, so a more accurate estimate would have been appreciated. Service: Our server, Sierra, went above and beyond. She kept us updated while the kitchen searched for chili flakes and sincerely apologized when they couldn't find any. When we asked about the menu and the restaurant's history, she enthusiastically shared stories and even brought us an original menu from the 1940s, where the prime rib was listed for just $1.34. The manager also stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Ambience: The restaurant has a warm, nostalgic atmosphere, with classic American songs playing in the background. The booths are spacious and comfortable, making it an enjoyable place to relax and enjoy a meal.
