First time here and it was an overall great experience. We were seated promptly, though that might be unusual. We have been by this area on various days and have seen long lines, so be cognizant if what day/time you come. It's TX, so most restaurants are quite busy. Our food came out rather quickly, but didn't look rushed. Kids ordered two kids meals, my husband ordered the sampler, I believe and I had the crab cake. Kids destroyed their meals, but they love breakfast of all sorts, so they were pleased. My husband said his meal was good, the bacon was kind of crispy and the sausage had good flavor. The crab cakes were quite flavorful! I wish the hash browns were more crisp, but overall my entree was delicious and I would definitely order again. From the two we ordered, I'd say the portions are large, so be prepared to leave with a full belly. This place is a must try, especially if you're in the area. read more

I was excited to try this place this morning and asked my husband to stop by on his way home from being out of town (we don't live nearby). My husband ordered take-out and asked for no cheese on the Eggsquisite skillet. When he arrived home 35 minutes later, he opened it to find it covered in cheese. I called the restaurant to explain it was our first experience there, and because the skillet was inedible for me, I was hoping for a refund on the item. They said "we could bring it back" or get a credit for another meal sometime. I explained we lived far away and would prefer a refund, but they declined. Customer service is everything these days, and if you have 45 people outside waiting for a seat, you're probably ok to refund $10 and avoid a totally bad experience for a first-time customer. read more

I actually like my steaks well-done and most places, understandably, dry it out. But the steak at Eggsquisite is not only delectably seasoned, but it's also juicy and oh so YUMMY! And their corned-beef hash is perfect...not too salty. So many places make this, one of my favorite plates, too salty. Also, it's not offered at most places. Just another reason to frequent and love Eggsquisite so much. So now that you understand that the food is amazing, let me tell you about the staff! I've had several different wait staff serve me and my friends, and no matter who we get, they're very kind, personable, professional, and timely. I've NEVER not had good service there. The crab was hard, the eggs were over cooked and I have no idea what the sauce was but definitely not hollandaise. I would've told our server, but nobody ever came by except to drop off the check. Where's the management? Sadly we were sat in a "booth" by the window. Who's great idea was it to push one side into the window and leave the other side out? Well it seems I must have caught Eggquisite Cafe on a not too fresh day and a couple of cooks very much in a hurry. 8/10 I have my food delivered so I've learned to be more forgiving in some things and others not so much. Some I clearly wonder how a cook could allow his/her order leave the kitchen. Unfortunately I think I caught the cooks at the wrong time. The thing is there should never be a wrong time show In your work. Cooking is tough especially when you are slammed. Again, you are in the wrong line of work if you can't put 2 biscuits and 1 over easy egg In a styrofoam containers. Yes that's what I received. 2 broken biscuits, 1 laying 1/2 on the other and a crisp around the edges and a broken yolk. I respectfully decline the mention of the last item. Went to this location on Saturday, May 13, for a Mother's Day Lunch with a party of 6. We called 20 minutes before arriving and was told to use Yelp to check in. So, I did. Once there, the hostess told me that it was not on their list. The hostess also told us that it would only be a 15 minute wait. We sat down and as I pulled up my Yelp page from my phone, which showed that we had checked in, I took the phone to the hostess and showed her that we were checked in. "That's weird!" She stated. After 20 minutes waiting, I went back up and asked "How much longer? We have been waiting for 20 minutes." The hostess then looked at her tablet and said "No! I checked you in 17 minutes ago. It will be just a few more moments." I went back to my party and thought "Does she know that it's a party of 6?" So, I went BACK to the hostess and asked her if she knew we were 6. "No! Your wife told me a party of 2." I was there listening at the first time we encountered her and was never asked "How many in your party?" Now, the hostess is lying to me. After 35 minutes of waiting, we finally get a booth. Our waitress, Molly, was VERY friendly, engaging and for the most part, took very good care of us, even though many items had to be delivered to our table with several trips to the table from the kitchen. Food is very good quality. This was my second trip to this location. The first trip was for a lunch, for burgers. I will not write about that experience except that we were asked how we wanted our burgers cooked and replied "medium rare" and were delivered well done. Friends of mine told me how kind and caring the original owner was, taking so good care of everyone, but there was a true absence of good customer service and I do not take being lied to very well. I see a lie as theft, theft from the truth. This was my second and final time to this restaurant. read more

The staff of always on top of things, and willing to help one another out to run a successful shift. Even if they are jam packed the wait times never seem to be long.
