Great food, great drinks, great patio - just great. Stopped in late, glad they were still open, snagged a patio table next to the fountain. Had a wonderful server who was friendly, casual, informative despite us coming in close to closing time! Had some suggested favorites, mixed drinks were fresh and crisp. Steaks were perfectly cooked and melted in your mouth. To top it all off the bill was much less than expected for such quality and atmosphere. Highly recommended! read more

Cute place but for the wait - it's a no for me. Waited 30 min for a table which was fine but it look 10-15 min to get our drinks and then another 40+ min to get appetizers. that does not seem right...waited another 10-15 min for entrees. Food was mediocre, nothing special about the menu. read more

Update: I tried again the following week and when I called they allowed me to place a to go order. Food was pretty good. I got the chicken and waffles which was just okay. I've had better. Their beet salad was amazing, so yummy and fresh! Their spinach and artichoke dip was also really good. Overall my experience this time was much better. And the food was pretty good. read more

This place is great! I can't wait to come back. The hostesses and waitresses were all very nice and seemed very young. The ambiance is fun and trendy with a great bar area. They have TVs for sports and a flyer noting Trivia Tuesday's, which sounds like a lot of fun. The cocktails are so good I got a little jingled and frisky with my man. All were good such as the blood orange boulevardiar, blister in the sun, honey boo boo and sweet Caroline. For food we stuck with sliders and suds where you get to pick 3 beers on tap with little variety of sliders, yum yum. The crispy Brussels sprouts which weren't very good, tasted burnt. Then the truffled cheesy tots which were a comfort food delight. I can't wait to come back and try some more cocktails and bigger meals. Maybe even try the Tuesday trivia!! read more

Nice vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food was Fish and Chips were good and a nice portion. I had the salad with crispy chicken it was very nice. Had the steak bites, as I was curious about Breaded Fried Steak Strips. They were too mushy inside for me, I think they are trying to be similar to a chicken fried steak, but they had too much breading. They weren't a favorite for me, however I saw the same type of item on several menus in Idaho, so it must be a regional thing. Service was friendly and prompt. Would go back. read more

Just left this place. Unsure where to start. It took around 15 minutes for anyone to ask us if we wanted to have any drinks. We were also sat in the bar area and were not given happy hour menus. When we finally got someone to acknowledge us he had to go back to get us the HH menu and barcode scanner for drinks on tap which took him two separate trips to do so and he left after we could give him our order. Servers in general looked lost and confused with orders. When my fiancée finally got his drink the server had forgotten to put in my order so I had to wait even longer. Not once did anyone check in on us and I didn't appreciate getting slapped with the bill and having to pay as this gentleman impatiently stood holding the device. Let me be clear that the place wasn't packed; no wait at all and our server not once introduced himself or was courteous to us as we patiently sat around waiting. Food was pretty good. Carnitas nachos were great. Chicken sandwich was good as well but based off of this experience and what I paid, I will not be going back. read more

My wife and I went there for lunch. The place had a nice bar with several high top tables along with the regular tables. Plenty of room so you didn't feel like you were sitting on top of each other. The place was clean. The servers were very attentive and friendly. The menu had a good selection of lunch and dinner items. My wife had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. She really enjoyed the sandwich, the bread was awesome and it had tomatoes and bacon. You can't go wrong with anything that has bacon. I had the (Un)Common burger, 1/2 of beef and loaded with all the fixins. Cooked as requested and the bun was fresh as were the fixins. Fries were abundant, crispy and seasoned nicely. The burger was adorned with a cheesy tot, one is not enough. I will be going back for more of them (appetizer). For the money it's well worth it. read more

Service was admittedly a little slow at the table but I suppose it was crowded so can't be too upset. The food was good but the service was not , had reservations for 2 and got seated only to never really have a server come to the table . Order was taken by the manager ? I assume because not in a standard uniform but then never returned to table for drink refills or anything I waved down a server at some point after finishing the meal and waiting 30 min for someone to stop by the table for boxes and ticket. read more

This is a quaint place in Meridian. Gastropub describes the choices perfectly. Lots of cocktails, 12 rotating Taps, and food choices from Appetizers to full entrees. We sat outside and it was beautiful. I started with the Blood Orange Boulevardier and wasn't disappointed. Ordered appetizers of brussles sprouts, pretzel and the cheesy tots. All VERY tasty....only complaint is they are a tad small portion wise. Ordered a second cocktail and a cider along with my Blue Cheese burger and fries. The burger was big and looked great. First bite told me it was the best Blue Cheese burger I've had (and I order them everywhere). Candied bacon and onion jam gabe sweetness....the fresh Blue cheese rounded out the burger perfectly. Fries were crisp and delicious. Man what a great meal. Service was friendly and attentive. All in all this is a great little place to eat....or drink. Will definitely be coming back. Considering the reviews, we found this restaurant to be just ok. I had a great cocktail to start (Si Seniorita), however, the meal was a bit disappointing. We ordered the meatloaf and the flatiron steak and both plates were served warm, but definitely not hot. The gravy on the meatloaf had cooled enough to become too thick and nothing on the steak plate was beyond "just warm". For $28, the flatiron was quite small and was served with 6 skinny asparagus spears and 6 fingerling potatoes (12 halves). All of the food seemed under-seasoned, which is fine, but there were no salt or pepper grinders on the table and we had to ask twice to get them. Dessert was decent, but nothing unique. Overall, not in a hurry to go back, but there's potential for this place if they can get the details right. read more

Our friends who were passing through town called and we met them at 830 Common because it was close to where they were staying. It is a pretty hip place but not a good choice if you just want to visit with friends for a couple of hours. It was loud and hard for us to hear. We all enjoyed our food and the server was great. While the food is pretty tasty and the menu interesting, the buns on the hamburgers literally get mushy and fall apart while eating. It was awful! There are delicious buns out there, more robust, that could handle their burgers without the whole experience turning into a goo fest. read more

Got to come here for a rare date night on the dime of a gift-card and we were so pleased! We arrived during happy hour and got to enjoy some local beer from Bear Island. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my husband ordered the center cut filet. I have never ordered chicken and waffles before. But something about this called to me... I think it was the promise of a savory waffle. And ETC delivered! It was filled with hatch chiles and had a light, fluffy inside and a crunchy, exterior. I love how deep their waffle holes are. More space for me to smear butter into. :) The chicken was FANTASTIC! It is brined and so tender. The crunchy batter has a nice spice to it that will leave your lips slightly on fire, only to be quenched by the sweet syrup. My only regret was that there was not a vegetable in sight. Should have ordered a side salad to make me feel a little better about my choices. My husband liked his steak. It was accompanied by a pile of crispy fried onions, mashed potatoes and tender asparagus. I didn't bother trying it because I couldn't take my eyes off my chicken and waffle. The tables were well spaced, staff was in masks and the service was great! So happy to have a cool, local eatery in Meridian downtown. read more

I really wanted to like this place. we looked up the menu the night before and everything just sounds so amazing. they really put some good thought into the items on the menu- specifically the brunch menu. we arrived on time on sunday to a busy restaurant. with full tables inside and out on the patio. the server promptly took our drink order and then was gone for a while, which ended up being his MO the entire meal. if you're busy it's fine, but staff accordingly. everything took forever. like I mean obnoxiously long waits for things. the food sounds SO good on the menu- I was ready to have a good cheat meal (i'm on keto so we don't eat out as often as before). I ordered the huevos rancheros. ugh. premade cold tostadas, over cooked eggs, cold enchilada sauce on top. canned beans sprinkled. what a major disappointment. I ate it all because by the time it came out I was starving and would have eaten anything at that point. EVERYONES eggs were overcooked. this is a brunch menu and the eggs benedict eggs had hard yokes. no one wanted to send anything back because we were starving from waiting so long. the server never checked on us. disaster. we also ordered these donuts that everyone was raving about- cold, hard, didn't taste fresh. disappointing. lastly. we were a group of 7 that came in for my moms birthday. we mentioned multiple times it was her birthday and nothing was done and the server never acknowledged it.
