Darn Good Coffee..."darn" right! The Vanilla Hazelnut is my favorite, but I've also had their Neighborhood Blend, and it's equally as delicious. Their sandwiches are always yummy. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because they're still getting some kinks worked out, but if anything's wrong, just [nicely] let them know, and they will be more than happy to fix it. This is my "go to" place for bagels and staying and meeting friends for breakfast. I'm always getting a dozen or two to take home. But I also meet friends there at least twice a week for great conversation which just adds to a wonderful breakfast experience. It's usually just a bagel and schematic but sometimes I splurge and get a breakfast sandwich. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Oh yeah - the staff is awesome. We don't splurge on bagels often and when we do Einstein disappoints every-time. I decided I'm done giving them a chance. The last few times, before 9 am there are NO everything, blueberry, cinnamon, raisin, sesame and poppy bagels. What?!!? It's a bagel joint. And you can't run out of bagels because in Lawrenceville doors aren't broken down for bagels. It's every-time. And we didn't make the trip for a plain, potato or onion bagels. Yuck! I absolutely love the Nova Lox and the service was excellent. My only wish is for a more convenient location.

The food is good but the service is lacking. It took almost twenty minutes to get two bagel sandwiches and there were only 6 or 8 customers in the place. The employees have a get it when you get it mindset versus the customer is waiting. I won't be back. read more

They need to hire more workers as the volume is high and service is very slow . The past two times I have been around ten o'clock the everything bagel is already gone . Not sure why they can't keep up to the crowd of customers . Takes forever for them to make a specialty drink as well . I waited ten minutes for a hot chocolate in which they made it with vanilla instead of chocolate. Einsteins store model is a great concept but this store is not managed well . Good service. Normally pretty fast except at peak times but even them they move it along. The bagels are quality with plenty nod variety and the coffee is a solid choice. The manager Carrie us great. She takes care of her customers, is always friendly, and keeps the line moving. This is my standard Saturday breakfast choice. read more

We placed our order for a 13-bagel box and two other customers paid for their orders before we paid for ours. We paid at 9:31 a.m. The employees dropped the ball, and no one put together our box. After 12 minutes, my husband asked about our order. The order was called back to us again to make sure they ahd the right order. Sadly, we got home to find that we had 3 sesame seed bagels instead of poppy seed bagels. Our thirteenth bagel (a chocolate chip bagel) was not even in the box. So we waited an inexcusable length of time, got three bagels that no one in our house will eat, and we were shorted one entire bagel. It causes me great concern that even after we brought it to the attention of store employees that our order had not been filled and the employees confirmed what we purchased, they still did not fill our order properly and shorted us one bagel. This place is so slow. There is always a waiting line to get served. it takes them forever to get your order prepared. Unless you have plenty of time on your hands, don't come here. They are not staffed well enough to serve the customers. The location in Duluth on Pleasant Hill road has a lot better service. I try to go to that one. read more

Einstein's has great bagels and pretty damn good coffee. That said, I'm still consistently disappointed, and it's not just this location, although they're consistently inconsistent. I have to ask for a clean knife every time to insure my blueberry or cinnamon raison bagels with plain cream cheese don't surprise me with healthy chunks of onion flavored spreads. Not good. Apparently, this time, my request threw the associate because both bagels were not toasted as also requested. Did I mention these bagels are awesome?... but they're awesome when they're made to order. The staff are always nice and professional, which pushes my 2 stars to 3. I just wish they could get it right because I really like them and the food. read more

Came in to have lunch with my family and left so frustrated. Terrible underwhelming experience, I won't be back. We came in at 2:30PM (30 minutes before closing) and it was obvious we were an inconvenience to them making sure they got out of there right at 3PM. They were making our sandwiches before we even ordered at the register to get it out quick which ended up in them getting it wrong from what we actually ended up ordering on the ticket. The portions were tiny, like we got snack size bagels and we are not big people by any means. My side of fruit came with 3 pieces of fruit (not kidding). They forgot the pickle on every single meal. (3 meals) -- I PAID $23 for this. I might as well have thrown $23 bucks in the trash. I asked the lady (who I believe was the manager) if it would be too late to get a coffee at 2:55PM (which I totally understand is 5 minutes before you close which is why I asked) and she said "We close at 3" which tells me ya no coffee. They also decided to go ahead and start vacuuming the place while we were having lunch (20 minutes before closing) so I could barely have a decent convo with my fam. The only thing I can say was that the food actually was good, the sandwiches were good but I can get a good sandwich and better service for half that price ANYWHERE else. I'm incredibly frustrated. I don't often like to leave the bad reviews but they saw this one coming for sure. read more
