I had a very upsetting experience at El Churrascaso in Miramar and felt compelled to share it. While dining there, I witnessed the manager publicly degrade and belittle my waitress, Juana, in front of customers. It was incredibly uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. Juana had been kind, attentive, and doing her job well, yet the way the manager spoke to her was disrespectful and humiliating. The situation made the entire atmosphere tense and unpleasant. It was so disturbing that I couldn't even finish my meal. No customer should have to watch an employee be treated like that while they're trying to enjoy dinner. Businesses should support and respect their staff, not tear them down in front of guests. Seeing someone treated that way was upsetting and left a terrible impression. Because of this experience, I will absolutely not be returning, and I refuse to support a business that treats its employees so poorly. read more

We had to start the meal with some cheesy bread as it is Brazilian version of Pandebono. They serve it with some guava sauce that paired perfectly. It wasn't too sweet and didn't overpower the already good cheese bread. The star of the meal is the 3 pound board of meat. Every piece of meat was well seasoned and tender. I really loved our experience here and the food was delicious. They were set up for live music, but didn't have any on the night I went unfortunately, but the dishes were yummy and we still had a great time. We started with the octopus appetizer, and I was impressed by how it was cooked, just crispy enough and not rubbery. It was topped with a yummy pico de gallo sauce and served with tostones. I also had One of the best arugula salads I've ever had as a side to my meal, with raspberries and feta cheese, and a delicious dressing. To eat I went with the simple churrasco, asked for medium rare. Although it came out a little bit undercooked (better than overcooked), it ended up working out better, I just boxed it up to take home and re-cook it the next day. Stopped by on a Friday night, craving some good steak and this restaurant did not disappoint! Located in Miramar in back of the 24hr Fitness with plenty of parking because of their spacious garage, this restaurant is delicious! The service is friendly and attentive and very cozy!! My husband and I tried the churrasco, sausage and chicken platter which was delicious. I don't usually eat chicken when I'm out but you can't beat BBQ chicken. The Mac & cheese, corn on the cob and mash potatoes were also delicious! Theres also a bar area and the bartenders make delicious cocktails. This time we tried for the first time the grilled cheese which was salty and delicious (definitely add the honey for the contrast). We also order the 2lb meat platter and it was perfect. The steaks were cooked as requested, the chicken was juicy , I would have preferred for the lamb to be more moist but overall it was good. We had the Parmesan corn, Caesar Salad, grilled cheese, strawberryMojito.and the plate that includes Churrasco, Lamb, chorizo, chicken and Picanha. I must say it was delicious no complaints at all for the grilled cheese would also be good with a guava purée but honey did the job too. The mojito is made with fresh strawberries and that's a plus. We went to El Churrascaso on a Wednesday night and it was very lively a few bday parties and even a private room event. The food was very good we ordered the 3 lbs of meat for 4 people and it was the right amount. The only down side is the quantity of the sides if you have more then 2 people you may want to order and additional side or 2 so that everyone has enough. But as far as taste it was all great. We had the sweet corn and fried sweet plantains. We also ordered the cheese bread basket and they very yummy. We had a few different drinks at the table but I really enjoyed my lovely Guava Margarita. I'm sorry I was unable to get any picture we dug in as soon as the food arrived and I had no time to get any pictures before the tablet was empty. Our waitress was a very nice young lady by the name of Claudia (that the name on my ticket) She was very attentive and very pleasant. My wife and I wanted to try this spot out as it has great reviews, however, our experience wasn't great at all. We arrived at 6:25pm on a Saturday evening, gave the hostess our name and patiently waited. The wait turned into an hour and 10 minutes, and at that point my wife and I left. At about the 45th minute, my wife inquired with the hostess about the status of our seating and told us that there were 2 parties ahead of us, cool. We get it and decided to wait. The wait turned out to be too long and definitely was a "turn off" for us. It's a small place as we saw for our own eyes as this was our first time here, so pack lots of patients if and when you do decide to come to this establishment because it's very SMALL. Upon arrival, we checked in where they wrote our name in a notebook. I asked if they can take down my number so I can go sit inside some place close by til the table was ready, due to the intense heat and humidity and no space to stand or wait inside, but they mentioned they cannot do so. I ordered a traditional caipirinha and it was FANTASTIC. It was not overly sweet like most places tend to make it, it was just right! When we sat at the table, the table was really close to all other tables. We ordered fried cheese for appetizer that came with honey and it was good. For dinner, I shared a parrillada with medium cooked beef which one other person and I shared. The meat was decently seasoned, however, there was not a single piece of meat cooked to our liking, all of our meat was cooked medium well/well done. We didn't protest because we were hungry and it took a while to receive the food. Other people that dined with us enjoyed the meal much more because they like medium well and well cooked beef. (Their meal is not shown in this photo) The mashed potatoes were homemade and delicious! We loved the sweet potato fries as well. Chicken, sausage and pork tenderloin were tasty. Starting with their Hialeah location, I'm a fan of this local chain. I was in the Miramar area and stopped by almost before closing time. I missed the live music show - they were wrapping up as I came in - but the manager said that the kitchen was open and I could dine in. Just for that they deserve 5 stars! I started off with their cheese bread appetizer (I was good with portions :) which was nicely pouffy with a slight tart taste. A hearty bowl of Black bean soup was my other tasty app before one of the stars. Their bacon wrapped chicken consists of approximately 7 pieces of grilled chicken wrapped in bacon. Garnished with a sprinkling of basil, this dish is a meat lover's culinary delight. The chicken was rightly juicy and well marinated with bacon flavor. Save some room for dessert, especially their baked pineapple. You have your chocolate garnish, your creamy vanilla ice cream and a generous helping of pineapple lightly grilled. OMG have not been here in a few months and they have made some changes to the decor. Did a double take. It looks better than before. More tables, different lighting , it's cozier over all great ambiance. Food was amazing as usual. We ordered the Papas asada which comes with shrimp, chorizo, onions mozzarella cheese and a few other things. Hubby order the filet mignon and I ordered the churrasco. Cooked just like we like it. Make sure to order the flan it's the best flan in all of Miami/Miramar. We got here early because we know how busy it gets and like always by 7 it was almost full and a full house by 7:30 Our server was fantastic. They have a new manager that we were very much impressed with. He was fully involved in the operation and didn't mind getting in the trenches to help his staff and take care of the customers. It was my husband dream come true. He said it was the best birthday gift lol. The meats are lightly seasoned. Which was great because we could season it the way we like it. They offer salt, pepper, chimichurri sauce and cilantro sauce. Love that! Drinks: Dark Modelo beer and Caipirinha. The caipirinha cocktail was so refreshing but you definitely will feel the liquor. I know my family and I have just added to our list of favorite steak houses. The ambiance, the service, the selection of alcohol and non alcohol drinks and yes the food. We started off with a few specialty drinks, followed by a few mouthwatering appetizers. There were 5 adults in our part so we decided to go with one 3lb platter and one 1lb platter mixed grill of chorizo, chicken, pork tenderloin, churasco and picanha, accompanied by mouthwatering fried yucca, rice, beans and salads. We were totally satisfied with our meal and the service was impeccable the price per adult inclusive of beers and alcohol worked out to about $48 per person. First of all... I really wanted to like this place. Born in Brazil and having lived for 20+ years, I know finding a Brazilian restaurant in this area is rare. So when I heard of this place I got very hopeful. Second... this place is so far from being anything Brazilian. It's actually a slap in the face that they call themselves that because they serve Pao De Queijo and caipirinhas. This is a Spanish restaurant taking advantage of patrons that don't know better. The food is at best average but certainly over priced. So my most recent visit was Friday. Me and my wife both order the Picanha plate medium rare and 2 Caipirinhas. Both of our steaks came completely rare to the point they were almost blue! On top of that the way they cut their meat makes no sense leads me to believe they're buying and selling scraps of meat. The caipirinha were overbearingly sweet and impossible to drink. They play music so loud you can't hear the person in front of you I've eaten here about 3 times. The first couple times were okay the 3rd time Was the final straw. I will definitely take the 25 minute drive to Viva Brazil instead if I want real Brazilian food in a nicer setting at a cheaper cost!
