Came here with my bf today. The Food and drinks were absolutely delicious, served quickly, and at a reasonable price (which is hard to find these days). Our server was very attentive and kind. The interior was designed and decorated beautifully, and the seating was spacious and comfortable. We will most definitely be back in the future.

Quiet, beautiful atmosphere. Service was top-tier, shoutout to Carlos! The food was great. Started with chips and salsa (the salsa was delicious). I had a classic margarita on ice with carne asada, rice, and beans, everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Highly recommend!

Tortilla- made here?

Killer chips and salsa! Really really good... says a lot. I had the green enchiladas. Sauce was a bit think but good. Better when I added the lettuce and tomato that was on the plate. Good rice and beans. The only chink in the armor.... Flour tortillas were store bought.... :( But all in all a good place to come try!

The ambience was nice, very clean and pleasant. Bathrooms were very clean as well. The service was great even though he was busy on a Thursday night. Took a while to get a blended (not really frozen) margarita. I had the classic and it was ok - should've gotten it on the rocks. Chips and salsa were very good. My wife had the enchiladas Suiza which she liked and I had the Rojas. This was not a heavy not greasy Tex max meal. The best way to describe it was it was light and a healthy type of mexican food. We both enjoyed our meals and plan on returning - almost every table was taken on a Thursday night.

Best margarita you'll be feeling great!

First time here me my father in law and hubby came for lunch we ordered 3 margaritas on the rocks and it was strong but really good I'm feeling no pain lol My hubby ordered the Birria Seco plate it came with rice and refried beans but he subbed it for charro beans! The Charro beans are amazingly good it's perfect and I'm picky about my beans My father in law ordered the Asada plate with the refried beans n his was also amazing yummy!! I had the Carne Guisada n I'm really picky about my Carne Guisada but this was amazingly good!! Not too salty just right the tortillas were also super hot n fresh this place is amazing good please come here to try this new place out!!! We will definitely return to try out more items on the menu! Food and service were great!!! Excellent service and food! Fajitas are delicious. The wet burrito is a classic. Servings are good portions. Family-friendly too!

The place was very nice and clean. The seating was comfortable. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The food came out hot and was very good. I personally didn't care for the hotdogs in my beans but other than that it was good. I had the Cammarones Monterey and my dining partner had the enchiladas verdes. He said they were delicious. We came around 1:30pm on Saturday and it was very quiet. I think people still don't know it's her.

This little Mexican restaurant passed my chips and salsa test. The chips were homemade and the salsa was warm and had just enough kick. The enchiladas verdes had a flavorful tomatillo sauce, the rice was fluffy, and the beans were good but needed a bit more flavor in opinion. The servers were attentive, very welcoming, and helpful. Overall the food and service were great. I'll be returning to try more of the menu!

This food is amazing. The staff are very welcoming and I had a very good experience for the third time.

Tried this new Mexican restaurant for dinner Saturday night. It has nice contemporary decor and very friendly staff. Loved their complimentary chips and roasted salsa. The drinks were good as well. We tried their birria tacos, chicken flautas, and chipotle enchiladas - everything was hot and fresh. We finished up by sharing a piece of their delicious tres leches cake, which was hand-made by the owner's wife. Glad to have another nice restaurant nearby without having to drive downtown.

Red pozole!

In the lobby for checkin today, I had an instant headache because the fragrance was so strong. At that point they informed us that there is some additional fee per day on top of the already pricey room, a fee that they never disclosed before today. We continued upstairs, and I could hardly breathe in the elevator it was so scented. When we got to the room it was also heavily fragranced. I tried to call the front desk, and the phone in the room didn't work reliably. Our call dropped several times. They offered box fans for us to air out the room. However, when we opened the windows, a blast of cigarette smoke wafted into the room because it is directly above their designated smoking area. We asked the front desk for help, and they said not to worry, hardly anyone smokes in that area. Meanwhile we watched several people out there smoking almost constantly. They offered no other accommodation or help. Not worth it. Very uncomfortable and upset because this will ruin our vacation. Edit: 1 to 3 stars. The manager eventually heard our concerns, responding to a secondary issue with cigar smoke in our room after leaving windows open - their recommendation- to air out the room. They found us a different accommodation and made it more than fair and comfortable. Why not 4 stars? Because it took the entire first day to be resolved.

Maybe even a little confusing, but I think it's all part of its charm. 100% take the recommendations from the server they know their way around that. It was a nice eclectic way of perusing through a menu that seemed like it was gonna be a disaster, but then ended up cohesively melting in your mouth, the entire journey. Such a good night, me and my friends are still raving about it!

It was a pretty small portion, especially for sharing, and nothing really stood out to justify the price. Next was the Brisket Egg Roll - 7/10. These were packed with flavor, but again, the portion left us wanting more. For our entrées, the Crispy Karaage Chicken - 8/10 was delicious. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and came in generous bite-sized pieces that were full of flavor. The TC Double Cheeseburger - 9/10 completely stole the show. It was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Paired with the crispy fries, this was easily the best thing we ordered and one I'd come back for without hesitation. The Spicy Pork Belly - 6/10 looked beautiful coming out of the kitchen and was well-garnished, but it needed more sauce to really bring everything together. On its own, the flavor was a little underwhelming. Our cocktails were recommended by our server. They were enjoyable and well-balanced without being overly sweet, but nothing that really wowed us. 6/10. The ambiance was definitely one of the highlights. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the River Walk created a cozy, intimate setting that's great for a date night. Service started off a little slow, but our server acknowledged the delay and made it right by treating us to complimentary sake, which we really appreciated. Overall, Tokyo Cowboy offers a unique dining experience with a great atmosphere. While a few dishes missed the mark, the TC Double Cheeseburger alone is worth coming back for.
