    SIZZLING SKIRT STEAK FAJITAS

Maria was fantastic during lunch today. She was very attentive and she made sure everything came out quickly. She has such a friendly attitude and made the whole experience feel welcoming and easy. Any time I needed something, she was right there and I can tell she really cares about giving great service. The fajitas were excellent and came out hot and sizzling, with great flavor and generous portions. They were cooked perfectly and made for a really satisfying lunch. Between the delicious fajitas and Maria's friendly, helpful service, it made this a really enjoyable midday meal. I will definitely be back and would be happy to sit in Maria's section again.

As a vegetarian who doesn't like their spinach enchiladas (anymore) - WHY would you remove cheese enchiladas from your menu? Especially when you don't have many options for vegetarians to begin with! Every Mexican restaurant of all levels either offers (or will make if requested) cheese enchiladas...never going back here

El Torito's Saturday Breakfast is so darn yummy! And really cost effective...leave here with $ to spare and a full tummy and fab drinks! Special shout out bar specialist Rudy (Pooh) and manager Arnie

The food, service and ambiance were great. Haven't been here for a while and it did not disappoint. The prices are budget friendly, the food is fabulous. Parking lot gets packed quickly but they do offer valet with a service charge. They have happy hour drinks for great price and a few small bites to eat.

The happy hour was awesome! The food was great, the atmosphere was a bit outdated. Will definitely return, maybe add more TV's and remove the glass holder around the bar! You can't see anything!

Food was delicious and the drinks were really good too. The service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and checked on us often. The ambience is nice and comfortable, great for a casual meal or a night out. Portions were solid and everything came out fresh and hot. Overall, a great experience.

One of the best taco spots in the valley. Come watch your sports games and get your best margaritas. On Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday or any other day poppin, off fajitas quesadillas. Sopes and nachos highly recommended.

I decided to try mexican food this weekend. El torito use to be my fav in the Av but they slipped so i was really shocked that this Sherman oaks spot was on point. As soon as we walked in they greeted us immediately, the host and a hispanic male which i believe he was a manager. We sat in the bar area, the ambiance was nice and i enjoyed the music. When we got our food it was quick thanks to Adriana being so quick and friendly. The food was ok a lil dry but i love the happy hour on a weekend so ill be back!!!

This location is smaller than Woodland Hills and Northridge . But in a good neighborhood . Close to the city and has a great staff with ambiance and great service . The enchiladas are delicious .

We had such a great experience at El Torito. Our server, Marlon, was amazing--so funny, personable, and attentive. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and exactly what we were craving. The staff even welcomed our pup with fresh water, which made the visit extra special. The restaurant itself was very clean with great vibes. A manager, Joseph, stopped by to check on us and made us feel genuinely welcome. That personal touch stood out. Parking is limited--there are only a few free spots and none were open, so we opted for the $8 valet. It was worth it to not worry about finding a space. Overall, highly recommend this location. We always have a wonderful time at El Torito and will definitely be back.

The garden atmosphere is lovely. You dine under a trellis of fairy lights and bougainvillea. And on certain evenings and lunch times, they have wonderful musicians provide soft background music. I wish I had read my last review from 9 yrs ago before revisiting this place today…read more Let me tell you about the good things first... this won't take long. Kelley, our server, was a sweetheart. And the glass of wine was a nice pour and a decent wine. I like that they let you in for something to drink before officially opening for the day. Cue record scratch... now about that food. No, we did not order the wrong thing and no, IMO, they were not just having a bad day. Look at these Huevos Rancheros with "house hash, tostadas and 3 eggs"... those are chips (I think from a bag of tortilla chips) so not really a tostada, no way there were three eggs in that thing (from what I could see)... not sure what the "house hash" is but nothing I could identify on the plate. I know a lot of people might leave a restaurant and say "I could have made that at home" but there is no way I would make something this crappy at home. LOOK at this Avocado Toast with "avocado spread"... that is some thin smear of something green but when you are calling something "Avocado Toast" there should be a substantial amount of the hero ingredient (and maybe not call it "avocado spread" on your menu description. To me, that says, "Look we don't want to call this a "rustic mash of avocado" or "Hass smash" or "hand-crushed ripe avocado" because we know you are actually going to SEE it in front of you in about 15 minutes and "avocado spread" won't lead to a major disappointment." But it did. And this slab of dry plywood that they were calling toast. I turned to my wife and in my best Sebastian Manascalco said, "Why would you do that??" This place mostly failed on food. The food at the other tables looked equally pathetic. Gotta say... all of the cooked egg components of each dish were decent but the rest of the items were like WTF? Ambiance? It's OK... I mean it was a bar with a ton of TVs going. Semi-nice vibe for a sports bar... lots of room. Just can't get over the food. We ate about half of our sodium bombs and left. But parts of the eggs were lovely... as was Kelley.
