We love breakfast places that feel like "home" and Elmer's felt just like that! There is something for everyone on the menu with decent prices. The cinnamon roll pancakes and the German pancake were amazing! They also made us extra crispy bacon which is a plus in my book! There is ample seating and parking as well.

I have only tried their German Pancake which is super good! The lemon one is nice. The strawberry is from a can but still good. Classic diner feel.

This a a great location! The way in and out of the parking lot can be a little tricky, but the restaurant itself is clean, the food is yummy and the service friendly. Brought my mom here for breakfast during a weekday. Not too busy, so we were seated right away. The server was very pleasant and our order came out timely. We ordered the Dutch baby combo to share. We opted for scrambled eggs with cheese and crispy bacon. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. We also ordered hot chocolate, which can be refilled at no additional cost. We enjoyed our experience here and will definitely return. Highly recommend this location.

Me and my family like to go there for breakfast and I enjoy their food. We always order the German pancakes.

Honestly, I can't believe this is my first review for them. I had been coming here for years. These guys are local. I have always enjoyed my breakfast. This day I came in with my friend, her daughter, and my mini-me. This place stays busy. Considering the prices and the product. Rightfully so! Always great food and service. Today I ordered one item, that I can't seem to stop eating here. The Cinnaroll Pancakes! Delicious! They are full of flavor and if you are dieting do not try these. It came alongside strips of juicy bacon, 2 eggs the way I wanted them (OM), and potatoes. I can't wait to come back to town just for them pancakes. Well worth it. You have nailed the Breakfast items! My follow peeps enjoyed their food as well. Huge Thank you to the table that bought our meals. It made me cry. It was such a nice gesture. I could not believe someone had paid for our whole meal and stayed anonymous. This was a wonderful start to our day!

Good food, clean restaurant and good service. We had the Bacon Avocado Omelet, which was great; Belgium Waffle, which was delicious ~ airy and sweet; and the Eggs Benedict. Good value and generous serving sizes.

There was only one table available in a small room with 3 other four-top tables. It was super loud with that many people in such a small space. They definitely try to make use of every inch they have. We're not really 'crowd' people, nor do we enjoy high volume environments where we can't have a conversation without raising our voices. That part of the experience left little to be desired. The staff was super friendly, helpful and attentive. Our water glasses were refilled promptly, and considering how busy they were, our food came out timely. We ordered the club sandwich with fries and a bacon Swiss burger with chili. The food was good, but nothing outstanding. They offer generous portions at affordable prices. Overall we enjoyed our meal, but given the loud and crowded environment, we're not sure it's a place we'll frequent in the future.

DO NOT get the meat martini it was GRoSS. I am a dirty gin martini with blue cheese olives girl through and through but this thing was gross. The Manhattan and Cosmo were both good. The one thing we would have given this 5 stars would have been the service. When we arrived the host was standing outside picking up chairs. He then proceeded to have a five minute conversation with another guest while we were just waiting to be seated when we finally receded we requested a different table and he seemed to bothered. It's been years since eating at a Black Bear franchise- last one was in Arizona. Feels like it's tired and it needs refreshing- the atmosphere and the menu. The biscuit portion is just too much and it dwarfed the eggs and poor quality bacon. Last time here.

This restaurant occupies an older building in downtown Vancouver. There is street parking available. It's a small establishment, but they do a great job of utilizing every inch. They even have a nice waiting area by the door with two long wooden benches. There are both table and chair seating, as well as a few booths. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. We ordered the croissant club sandwich with fries and the triple play with half a reuben sandwich, Celtic Caesar salad and a cup of Irish stew. My hubby also asked for a side of bacon.
