Rude young Korean girl, decent salad bar. She forgot to deduct the price of the container so I pointed it out. She proceeded to give me change in coins but I told her I have change so all she had to do was give me $1 back. She throws my dollar on the counter but I gave her the change I owed her in her hand like a decent person. She puts the change away and immediately puts on hand sanitizer! I've never met anyone so rude, lacking in grace and human decency. For a new business, they really should not employ such a rude cashier-it's bad for business. Note: She also got told off by a Caucasian lady in her twenties because this same Korean girl told her to go wait for her salad in the back of the store when the customer wanted to pay first.

the deli is great, prices are fare and food is very good. Waiit let me fix that. Breakfast specials are great. Omelette, home fries and toast for $4. Bacon eggs and cheese on a roll is $3. so its not bad and the quality is good. Now lunch, specially the ramen. They take a ramen package, yeahh those that cost 30 cents to make and add a few things form the salad bar and charge u $7 for it. Seriously, K town is a few blocks away and for 10 i can eat real ramen.

I came in hungry not sure whether to get a salad or a sandwich. The sandwich man greeted me and told me he'd make a "special sandwich for me" i was intrigued as to how much this would cost. It was only me in the cafe and so i said ok. It was a hero sandwich, he combined grilled chicken with onions and peppers, gouda cheese, lettuce tomatoes, avocado, mayo. It was a monstrosity of a sandwich and it was like $9.95. He also gave me like 3 pickle sticks. Note: he does have a tip jar so I tipped him, but it was still worth it. In the area the amount of chicken in that sandwich was insane. I ate all of it by myself and nearly passed out. Not a place i would come out of my way for, but if you work or happen to be in this area of Chelsea definitely recommend!!

Love the noodles options here (soba, udon, and ramen)! Excited to try the bibimbap, yum.

A lot of different food options at all times. Decently priced as well. Would definitely recommend to someone.

BUT, my husband and I recently took a trip to Paris and I also love pain aux raisins. To our delight, Cafe Bilboquet has those too, so my friend and I each had a small coffee and a pain aux raisins. The pastry was as good as any that my husband and I had in Paris! I've also had lunch here with a couple of other friends in recent months. They have a good variety of pretty authentic French sandwiches and some quiches, eggs, etc. Not inexpensive, but the food is top-notch. You order at the counter, then move up to the cashier, tell them what your order is and pay for it. If you're lucky, as we were around 9:45 this morning, you'll get one of the little round tables where you can sit and chat and relax; in good weather there are some tables outside as well; a lovely boulangerie or patisserie experience!

Upon getting closer to the door, I learned it's part of Le Bilboquet restaurant on the same block. It wasn't too crowded when I visited on a Tuesday mid-afternoon. Every table except 1 was full, but most people were heading outside on such a beautiful day with their drinks and pastries. The cafe is very cute and French. They have so many pastries I couldn't decide, so I ordered a pain au chocolat and tea. They serve Harney & Sons teas. This is a lovely spot, and I'll return to try more.

We started with a bottle of the Alsace wine, which perfectly complemented our food and the Parisian vibe. I opted for the omelette with Gruyère which was delicious, although I found myself very full by the end, as it came with two sides. The fries were a must-have -- so crispy, salty & fresh. I'd recommend that at least one person at the table order them, but the portion is pretty generous. :) The service was nice, albeit a bit slow at times. However, the staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere is chill -- we weren't in a rush at all! Sitting at a booth in the back, we had the perfect atmosphere to relax and enjoy our meal, making for a lovely brunch with friends or family.
