This place has become THE go-to spot whenever my friends and I feel like relaxing or grabbing a bite to end off our nights. The atmosphere is amazing: the room is a little dark with well lit tables which makes it feel like the perfect place to relieve your stress and to hang out with your friends. The wooden tables are good but the best spots are definitely the booths on the right side of the room because they provide privacy, have plenty of room on the table and on the cushion seats, and they also have outlets. A group of 6 can comfortably sit at the smaller booths with no problems at all. The food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. On this fine evening, my friends and I were feening for a bite and something to quenched our thirst after a 5 hour session of grass volleyball and immediately picked out the one and only FACTORY TEA BAR. We all got drinks that definitely replenished our dry mouths. At factory tea bar, the drinks all taste different in a good way and are all amazing so pick whatever you dream and the drink shall make your cream. We also got the medium sized snack sampler. It includes 2 flavored fries, 2 popcorn chickens, 1 elote fries, 4 egg rolls, and flavored potato chips. The fries are crispy, potatoey, and flavorful. The chicken are crunchy, bursts of flavor in every bite. But the elote fries are to die for. All the different flavors puts you in so many stages of enjoyment and happiness that every bite is like entering a different dimension of wonders. The chips aren't any ordinary chips. They actually have a little bit of soft potato in the center that shows that they were freshly cut and fried in same area. Also be careful biting into the egg rolls, they are pockets of steam that will burn the gums off your mouth and leave your mouth with kisses of the flavors that enters your mouth after continuously breathing and biting aggressively trying to release the steam from your mouth. It also came with multiple sauce cups. All are good but the best one in my opinion is the creamy white sauce. And wait, did I say that FTB still haven't changed the prices on their menus?! I've been going to this place for months and the prices were always the same. The service is top teir. I had a pretty girl taking my order and her service was so good that I was flabbergasted and fumbled my wallet as I was paying. I wanted to experience the same service again so I went up to the counter and asked a guy for some water cups. He was quick to grab cups and the ice scooper and filled the cups right away and as he was handing the water cups to me, I once again was flabbergasted by this type of service and almost dropped the water. Ah too bad I didn't because I know if I did, the workers would probably rush over to help me clean the mess and I would probably faint by the amount of great service shooting my way. FTB is definitely an amazing place to end your evenings and certainly a place to go if you want some service that would make you speechless and cause you to blush so hard that they would probably ask you "are you ok". This location is one of my favorite boba spots in OC because they open late and have really good foods and drinks. I always recommend it to my friends. On 10/22/2023, my friends and I went in, and I got their crema Thai smoothie. I always savor my drinks so I usually finish it at home. As I got to the end, I felt something with a different texture and assumed it was burnt boba because I know it can happen sometimes at Boba shops. As I spit it out on top of the lid, I saw it was a fly. I rushed straight to the restroom to the restroom to brush my teeth, but it didn't matter anymore since I finished the whole cup without knowing it was in there. My friend and I make a habit of visiting a new coffee/tea place every couple of weeks. I suggested FTB based on some reviews I read online. What a dissappointment. The young lady at the counter was very sweet, but didn't know the answers to some simple questions. We both order a drink - FTB House Tea for me and Rose Green Tea for him. Neither one came as pictured and were watery to the point of having very little flavor. We though we'd try some food off the menu. Despite being there during regular business hours, the kitchen was closed because the manager was not yet there. The manager finally came in about 30 minutes later. In the meantime, a few more people came in. The blender was so loud, we had to stop our conversation while it was running. We finally were able to order food, and when it was ready the announcement over the microphone was shockingly loud. There were not enough people in there to justify the use of a microphone. The venue itself is mostly concrete, so there was nothing to absorb the sound of the blender or microphone. There were pictures of people playing games such as pool, but I did not see a pool table. All in all, a huge disappointment. With tea and coffee shops on every corner in Westminster, there is little room for error if a place wants to stay in business. NEXT! read more

Surprised to see that they opened a Factory Tea Bar nearby. I have been to the one in SGV a couple times and that one is always busy. I couldn't remember if I liked the drinks so we stopped by on New Year's Day to check it out. They are using a limited menu of food and drinks right now so be aware that you may not be able to order your first choice. They were also out of the Thai tea so we asked for suggestions. The cashier suggested the nom-nom milk tea but said she couldn't tell us what nom-nom flavor was...a little odd...but we decided to take a chance and try it. They were also having a BOGO that day so we got their black milk tea as our free drink. We got both teas less sweet. The drinks came out relatively quick and were a good size. The nom-nom milk tea tasted like brown sugar and was quite sweet but the tea was not strong. The black milk tea was strong on the tea flavor which was great but it didn't taste sweet at all so the teas felt very opposite and inconsistent. Also the drinks were not cold. Both drinks were warm and had very little ice floating on top. Guess they don't shake or mix the drinks. The least they could do is pour the drinks over the ice so it has a chance to get cold but seems like the ice is thrown in last as an after thought. The location itself is quite large! Looks like a great place to hangout with friends or get work done during the day. The service is also friendly. The drinks definitely need work, if I come back I'll probably try a non milk tea drink. (My sister remembered that she ordered boba already which I'm not sure if she actually did yet. When I asked the staff to pay for the topping later on when we received the drinks, the staff still added boba for us without getting the money.) Especially Anna, who has been nothing but a doll! There is a lady who always brings out the food and drinks at the counter, she always smiles at her customers and seems so pleasant all the time. The music tends to be a little louder than average, but there are also times where it is completely silent. There are tables large and small to accommodate all types of parties, I can guarantee you will never have to find yourself standing around waiting for one. The pros: good snacks + drinks, open late, work/study friendly, spacious interior, nice workers, wifi access. Ive been coming to this location for the last year when I need to study. I became a regular with my friends as it was local to them and the seating is comfortable. There are lots of tables in the area for studying, which is what attracted my friends to go here. The drinks are pretty good, with the price of the food being about what you would expect from a boba shop, so nothing out of the ordinary. I usually go with the Thai Tea with Boba, and I love it heavenly. I overall enjoy Thai tea, but honestly this place always has good tea. I also really enjoy the Lychee Red Bull drink, its what you expect from a Red Bull drink and I think they do a good job. Boba is never hard or overdone, its always pretty good. Overall, no complaints about their food and drinks. There are two options for ordering: cashier or kiosk. Cashiers are very welcoming, and kiosk works well when there are long lines. Sometimes the kiosk will be glitchy, but usually a cashier is available anyways so its usually fine. Service is fairly quick, since I am doing studying or homework, I usually don't have an issue with how quick it comes out. I have only ever had one issue with the service when I received the wrong drink, but they remade my drink and it was so quick. I felt like a priority when there was a conflict, and I greatly appreciated that from food service. Just as a heads up, there is no outside food allowed inside the restaurant, a staff member did come up to us and notified us that we werent allowed to each chips there, but that seems like a reasonable request in my opinion. Nothing negative to say about the employees, overall a good job. The ambiance is super nice, its usually pretty crowded but for my needs, I usually just need access to an outlet, which luckily there are a good amount of outlets surrounding the area. I prefer the tables with outlets, there are a few, but usually they will clear up pretty quickly. If anything, I would recomend charging before you go to the establishment and bring additional power banks that will charge your devices. Decoration is pretty and they did a fantastic job at providing materials that make the place look not bland. They also have board games which is a cute addition to the location. The ambiance of the location is super nice. One thing I absolutely appreciate and I am so grateful is the management. I believe from my experience that the shop is family run. I mentioned my friends come here to study or do homework, but I also have friends that are not in school, so they will come here to do jigsaw puzzles. The location is open late, so we usually will stay late to finish puzzles. On one specific visit, my friends stayed super late to finish this puzzle. I was rushing my friends since they were cleaning up the shop, and an older woman waited at the counter while we were finishing. I was stressed since by this point, the restaurant had closed an hour prior. I was trying to tell them that we needed to leave and instead of kicking us out, the manager (I presume) watched us and waited patiently for us to finish. I want to apologize for that experience and wanted to say thank you for the patience, since then we have not stayed that late, and we do not do puzzles that late there anymore. It showed to me that the management there is super patient with the customers, and that they have a genuine care for the facility itself. Im grateful for this location, and I am appreciative of the kind staff. Overall I wish I could give this a higher rating. Ive never had a negative experience there and the staff does a very good job. Got a passionfruit black tea and it was okay. It tasted a bit watered down and there wasn't a very strong tea or passionfruit flavor. However, I do appreciate that it wasn't overly sweet even at 100%. It wasn't overly artificial tasting either, so that's pretty good! Came here on the day of Lunar New Year - the owner and employees were super kind, and the store was so festive! The drinks took longer than average to come out even though the place was relatively empty of customers. Speaking of the place, it's really nice! Lots of seating and tables. I ordered the Factory Milk Tea. The flavour was dark and chocolatey-like, probably due to the hint of coffee that is added to it (which I actually really liked!). We also ordered a Thai Milk Tea. It was surprisingly rich and creamy. I would describe the drink we got as slightly less strong compared to the 7 Leaves Thai Tea but creamier. The drinks come in one size. I used to frequent the FTB in san gabriel, so when I heard that there was a FTB opening in OC I thought that was awesome! it's a shame that it's a little hidden from the main street view. I also discovered that they offer milk tea towers, which I haven't seen at any boba spot in OC. the honey lemon tea reminds me happy lemon which is great! the cook on the popcorn chicken has been consistently good a perfect amount of spice when asking for the highest level of spice. the bathrooms are also well kept here which is rare for a boba spot. also, I wanna give a shoutout to the staff who was playing their playlist last night.
