One of the better restaurant experiences I have had in Albuquerque. You have to be a little patient with the wait for food but it's worth it. I have been here several times and it's not on a farm but it does have several tables. It's a good idea to visit this cozy restaurant when it's nice weather because sitting outside on their stone patio is quite the zen experience. When a large party came to celebrate a 30th birthday the staff was accommodating and we sat outside laughing, drinking wine, and enjoying the ambiance. The only bad part was the steak was overcooked. However, the owner came out and immediately comped the steak and sent another one that was to the diners liking. Everything else I've ever had here was on point. Fresh, farm fresh even! Think, they don't bring the cow out but you feel his presence. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I once went for brunch on a Sunday and ordered the eggs Benedict. I was pumped since hearing all the cool kids say good things but it was very bland. Having said that, the ingredients are fresh and local, the service was always good, and I would recommend coming here for dinner and giving them a try. Small portions. Big prices. We were very disappointed and we left hungry. We shared a "large" Farmers salad which was all greens in a tasty dressing. It was so tiny we wondered if they had mistakenly brought us the small salad? Then they brought us three small pieces of bread. The entrees likewise were about the size of an appetizer. They were delicious but it was strange to pay $75 for dinner and still have to go out for more food. Definitely not for us. read more

We ordered 3 really bad filets this week. Turns out they were substituting tough sirloins for the filets on the menu. Couldn't get a fork through these. When we sent one back we got told that these were really great non-GMO corn finished steaks and the white strings we couldn't cut we're "marbling." Very disappointed in this establishment. I made a reservation here a few weeks ago for a party of four. The hostess didn't ask if I wanted to sit inside or outside, but proceeded to lead me outside anyways. It was a cold day and I then asked her for a table inside (there were plenty of empty tables inside). Server seemed disinterested in going above and beyond her duties. Didn't explain any specials or popular items as it was our parties first time dining there. I ordered the enchiladas. They came out in a plate and looked like a deconstructed mess! I ordered my eggs over hard and they were runny when I cut through them. No flavor in the meal what so ever! The meal was a tortilla folded up, eggs, extremely small portion of toppings (tomatoes and onions), and small handful of pinto beans (no seasoning). Completely overpriced at $13! A cup of mediocre coffee cost me almost $4. Our party decided to share a fruit bowl. I received two strawberries, two pineapple pieces, and two blackberries for a whopping $3. I spent $24 and left this place hungry. Save your money and go elsewhere. This place lacked in every category imaginable. Also, there is limited parking, which is another negative of this place. People were making up parking spots which made it difficult to get out. I don't intend to return here. read more

My sisters and I had brunch here on a recent Saturday. We sat on the patio which is lovely--water features, beautiful foliage, beautiful view of the fields. And let me tell you! Kids seem to love it! They were running and playing through it all! In fact it was kind of like being at the McDonalds play area but with water and plants and brunch cocktails. A little boy ran over and crouched next to our table as our waiter approached. The waiter laughed nervously and said, "its kind of like a playground here." One child had his shoes off just having a ball while mom & dad sipped mimosas. When they say they are "kid friendly" they are not kidding!!! The food was good, not great and certainly not inexpensive so in conclusion...if you love kids under your feet & running by, and falling face first in the water, go here!!! My wife and I saw this as we were driving by and decided to stop in for breakfast. The restaurant was half empty, there was nobody waiting, and we were told that without a reservation it would be "about and hour" before we could be seated. We usually go for brunch on Saturday or Sunday. We love sitting on the patio even in the winter. It is nice and warm. The food and the service is wonderful. I always get the soup and it is always delicious. All the other food items are extremely fresh and delicious, we also enjoy the three special treats they have. The servers know the menu and never mind answering questions. This is definitely one of my favorite places! I definitely recommend the brunch. We have always loved this restaurant - beautiful ambience, great service, and yummy food. But we were terribly disappointed tonight. We had the rack of lamb with risotto, and it was, at best, meh. At $30 plus for an entree, you expect something interesting. The meat tasted like it had been thrown, unseasoned, into an oven until done, and the risotto was chalky and bland. It is a small space but they set it up well so it feels really cozy. That was when it just went down hill. I ordered eggs Benedict with ham and braised greens and a cup of coffee. Its brunch and its busy so to be expected it took a while to get our food, no problem, we sipped coffee and chatted and it was fine. Our food arrived about 45 mins after we ordered it, and it looked a mess. It just looked like someone threw it on a plate and tossed it out the kitchen. But the worst of it was my actual food. We waited 45mins and it was stone cold?! so cold that my hollandaise sauce had coagulated, it was gross. The ham looked straight up gross, it was definitely store bought not in house. My greens were not braised, they were raw, it was just sooo disappointing. Im shocked the kitchen cared soo little about the food that they let that leave the and be served. Went here for our anniversary recently and had a lovely evening. The staff were excellent from receptionist to wait staff. The vibe was clearly upscale hippie and the food didn't disappoint from that perspective. It's actually nice to get some ideas for how you can do a good meal at home with what you have in your refrigerator. One HUGE plus for me was that, while the food was served warm, the plate was not. One of my most anticipated and disappointing dining experiences all rolled up into one night at Farm and Table. I've been wanting to go to this highly-touted restaurant for the 5 years we've lived here, and finally got around to it Sarurday night! From the moment our party of 4 arrived, it was one misstep after another. First day on job for hostess (supposedly, or that was just the manager's excuse), who was less than welcoming. We were expecting high prices, but no problem as long as the service is great and the food delicious. We experienced neither. The most disappointing thing was taking my nephew, who was visiting from out of state, loves fine dining, thinking I was picking just the right place! Our waiter was poor. Never introduced himself, having to ask him his name, telling him we were celebrating my husband's birthday. When we finished our mostly unsatisfactory dinner (poor menu selection, trout was terrible!), waiter had forgotten all about the birthday. By that point, we didn't want a complimentary dessert, anyway! Highly unsatisfactory experience and will not be returning. read more

Food is usually good. Prices are higher than normal but you're supporting local and organic food. They really need a changing table in the bathroom. Many families go there and they need to get with the times. Also, they shouldn't take late reservations and then rush customers. But overall, food is a bit better than normal. read more

We've been to Farm and Table twice, for dinner. Both times, we felt the service and ambiance were outstanding! The food, on the other hand, was very, very good, but not all the way to outstanding. Given that we spent about $140 for the two of us, including starter, main course, dessert, wine, and tip, we'd have liked the food to hit the "wow" level. But, having said that, we do find it a very good alternative when we want to dine in the North Valley. read more

Happy to find a restaurant like this in New Mexico. I think the farm to table idea is awesome and I wish there were more restaurants like this out there. I really enjoyed the ambience of this place. It felt very homey. Service was ok, waitress was awesome the hostesses not so much. They seemed snooty. If your a hostess you should know how to smile. The food didn't really do it for me. We ordered the pork belly and empanadas as appetizers and they were good but nothing to write home about. For out main courses he got the pasta special which was a squid ink pasta with a rabbit ragout and I got the duck. The pasta was poorly presented. Just some black pasta with shredded rabbit on top and the flavours fell flat. The duck was good but served with parsnip and chard which was so bitter that I didn't even end up eating it. Also, supposedly there was bacon in my dish which I didn't get at all. I have to say I had high hopes for this restaurant and was let down. I feel like I could have easily made all these dishes myself for half the price and twice the flavour. I do want to give it another chance though just because I like and appreciate the concept so much plus the brunch menu sounds awesome! read more

We found this restaurant by accident while vacationing here for the balloon fest...what a wonderful unexpected treat!
