If you have ever been to Farmer Boys, you know that their burgers are huge and taste good. A little on the expensive side but good. However I'm on a phase of breakfast burritos. My orders have always been the same, Bacon and sausage breakfast burrito with hash brown, eggs. Not a huge fan of ham so I usually don't get it, and no beans. I decided to try the Farmer Boys Breakfast Burrito. I came here in the morning to start my day with a breakfast burrito. The starting price is 7.59 which apparently is one meat. Adding extra meat (sausage for example) is an extra surcharge of like almost 2 dollars. This isn't stated on the menu as well and I wasn't warned about this. So I'm there thinking to myself, the base price of the burrito is pretty high already and I paid a surcharge of extra meat, so I expect my burrito to be pretty packed. However this is one of my most disappointing burritos ever. The ratio to meat to potatoes is laughable. With such a high base price and even with an extra charge, mine was basically 80% potato. There wasn't much cheese and the egg was like normal fried egg. It's not blended so you get a taste of egg white only and it's not scrambled. There isn't much bacon, it's basically like bacon bits and the sausage was okay. The only sauce they can give you is taco sauce or pico salsa. I wasn't a fan of either but the taco sauce made it taste better. There were so many extra wrap of the tortilla where I'm sure you could have added more ingredients inside but instead they make it smaller and wrap the burrito around more. Overall my experience was sub par. Disappointed more likes it. They need to add more meat to their burritos or cut the price in half. That burrito is no way a 10 dollar burrito. Maybe 4-5 dollars, but not 10. Overall a 2/5. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast burrito. Burgers are okay though. read more

Beware! They rip you off!!! Ordered their $5.99 big cheese combo. This is advertised on their receipt and on their website for $5.99. Instead they charged me $11.39 for the combo. Called to complain and girl said they don't offer that promotion. Then she said you can only get that price if you request it when you order. WTF!! Is that a special menu item?? I ate at this place during my lunch and the chicken sandwich was terribly burnt and honestly I'm not the person who try to get food back cause I don't like conflict so I ate my food whatever was edible and later during my lunch I end up getting sick and throwing up I end up going to the place just to let them know that they can't be serving burnt food and the lady just says sorry didn't like it. I didn't like my food. It was just an edible to the point where I got sick, she argue saying that you can't get sick off a burn food And honestly customer service was decent and good but it was just the fact there food sucks so anyone who's planning on eating here just don't have high expectation because they are good farmer boys just not dislocation.and to Miss E because I forgot your Dr. Thank you for letting me know that the food shouldn't have got me sick even though the food was an edible and burnt and I'm paying for the price by throwing up. After eating here again, I told myself that I needed to update my last review of this place. I come here on average about once a month, and the last time I was here, the sandwiches / burgers were a little on the small side. I know that the actual product is never going to be exactly like what the pictures shows, anywhere you go, but they weren't even close to what the pictures showed around the restaurant. So I don't know, did they make improvements after reading my first review, who knows. But on this visit, our sandwiches were bigger, more filling, plates were bigger. So whatever the reason, they deserve another star. Food still tasted great, but now we walked out of there, feeling satisfied, belly's full. read more

They have the best pancakes next to IHOP & Flappy Jacks! Their cold brew is delicious! Service is great too! Of course with how things are nowadays, everyone is short staffed and busy. I've gone on their busy days and their slow and the service is exceptional every time! The food tastes freshly made and the workers are very attentive when you dine in. I have eaten at a few different locations...this one is terrible. After they repeated order 3 times I thought "okay it will correct" Wrong! Burger was simple only ketchup, mustard, cheese and lettuce. What I received was just ketchup on a BURNT hamburger patty like it was previously cooked then RECOOKED with BURNT hamburger BUN. Hours say open at 6. Got there at 6:05 at the drive thru. Waited a couple of minutes and no one answers. Drove thru to the window and one person inside ask me to wait 10 more minutes. Hours say open at 6, not 6:15. All these restaurants increasing the prices on there menus, yet they still have shitty ass service. I ordered in the drive-through and was asked to wait out front until my order was ready. This was confusing because there was absolutely nobody else in the drive-through. I just figured they were making all of my food fresh. It took longer than expected to receive my food but like I said I assumed it was fresh. When I got home and opened up my order and the toast, the easiest item in this order, looked like this I was completely astonished. I will never go back to this location again. Located next to the Wal-Mart Supercenter. A decent place for breakfast (omelettes, bowls, French toast, hotcakes), lunch and dinner featuring salads, finger foods, burgers, sandwiches, seafood, shakes, and a kids menu. The prices here are reasonable with nothing over $10 (in 05/2007). Farmer Boy's has ample seating in the nicely decorated dining area and drive-thru service. Dining in, you order and pay for your food at the counter, take a number to your table, and the food is brought out on regular dishes and silverware. The soft drinks are served in paper cups. I stopped here for dinner and ordered the Fish & Fries special ($4.99), which included a 22 oz soft drink. When I got my food, there were six pieces of battered Alaskan pollock (too much food??) with a mound of fries & tartar sauce on the side. I have not updated my review since 2010, but I have been coming here almost weekly for my breakfast burritos. Service has been good.... I went there tonight 7:17pm and I went in to order this time. I had a coupon for the Sourdough Chicken Avocado sandwich combo (small fries and 2 piece Zuccini) , and I also ordered the Extreme Bacon Boy combo (fries), and a breakfast burrito for me. I got the 2 sodas. I went to put them in my car as the food was being prepared. I sat down and began checking the score of the Seahawks game and a girl called out "Order for Louie". Thats not me. So I continue playing on my phone. She then approaches me and asked if I wanted ketchup? Im not Louie. I look on my receipt and the cashier put me down as Louie. I get home, open the contents of the bag - 1 chicken sandwich, 1 Extreme bacon boy burger, a breakfast burrito, small fries and 2 pc zucchini. Clearly I'm missing an order of fries for one of the combos. I called them at 7:47pm to let them know I'm missing an order of fries and truth be told I probably wouldn't have driven back out in the cold for fries. The girl puts me on hold to check. Sorry sir the girl that put your order together said she put 2 order of fries. Ok, from the time she handed the bag to me and I got home, its missing. I only have 1 order of fries. I try not to review fast food chains unless they are exceptional. I think Farmer Boys is exceptional. I'm not a fan of their breakfast options, but they have very good sandwiches. My go-to sandwich is a chicken club. They give you a huge piece of grilled chicken that's juicy. So juicy that, if you're not careful, the juice and sauces will drip on your favorite shirt. They add a huge piece of thick-cut spiced bacon, avocado, and the usual lettuce and tomato. What makes the sandwich great is their honey mustard that they add. It gives a nice, sweet twist to the sandwich. Each component of this sandwich is great...together it makes an awesome sandwich. Their fries are average. I like their huge onion rings. Funnel Cake Fries are cool too. Their philly cheesesteak, burgers, and club are also solid sandwiches. My friend swears by their chicken salad options. Overall, this is my favorite slow, fast food chain (meaning that its a fast food place with premium ingredients that makes their food to order). Ingredients are flavorful and the sandwiches are just really good. What keeps me from coming back more regularly is that it's expensive for fast food, it's really heavy eating, and it's a drive. read more

Service is very friendly, polite and courteous. The drive thru is one of the best I've experienced. They don't have an attitude when taking your order or when bringing you your food. I've been here late at night and late after midnight and I've received consistently great service. Their clam chowder bread bowl is fantastic. Way over priced. Won't come here again..... this location prices are almost doubled compared to the other locations. A natural cheeseburger for $13 when other locations are around $8-$9. The French toast breakfast $15.99 when it's $8-$10 at other locations. Please do your research before coming here. The restaurant located in Irwindale is cheaper then this one. Would love to give a review, but they won't open the doors on time!! I've tried to stop on my way to work multiple times and the sign says open and the website says open but the doors are locked and they won't answer the drive thru. I dont know if it was because I had an inexperienced cook and cashier that day but my 1st time buying food here was pretty bland and poor. I brought 1 farmer burger, 1 avocado bacon cheese burger, and 1 farmer Cobb salad. Additionally, I made the farmer burger a combine because I wanted fries and a drink. Overall, somehow the drive thru cashier thought i didnt want fries when i asked " what type of fries do you have" because she literally ask me "what type of fries and drink do you want" which surprised me and I doubt checked by asking "what type of fries do you have?" Because that would be pretty cool if they had different types of fries there. In the end, she kept going silent or asking what fries I want when I asked what type of fries and drinks they had(I was so confuse). I was literally park right next to the white speaker box and speaking loudly too so I dont know why she kept going silent and asked the same thing...and it was lunch hour too...like girl I just want my burger and fries. And California gas prices are high!! So I gave up and just said "can I have normal fries and a Sprite" and moved to the window. Long story short, it took 30 minutes!! for food to be ready, and I noticed my fries weren't inside the to-go bag... Anyway I got home and tried the burger, both of them was really bland. I was disappointed to be paying that much for this unseasoned burger when jack-in-the-box which is like the same price and way better. I tried the Daybreak Sandwich with Bacon and my mom tried the Hot Cakes Platter. The Daybreak Sandwich was really good. I loved the potato bun and fluffy scrambled eggs, bacon, and cheese. I wished it came with a side of hash browns. That would be perfect! My mom liked her Hot Cakes Platter. It was a lot of food for her and ended up taking most of her pancakes home. The last time we ate there, one of the gals came around to freshen out coffee. We were the only party in the dining room for about 45 minutes this morning.
