Ripoff the customers is what they do best! I went for two kids meals nothing special. Just chicken strip and and cheese burger. The menu window shows $6.36 each and when I got to the window they said 19.14!! I looked at my receipt and it showed 2.99 for an ice coffee I didn't order and didn't get, it showed .88 extra to make it a combo when I had already said kids meal! It showed an additional charge for fries of 3.19! When I asked why all the additional charges when I was not getting anything extra the girl said it not extra I just have to itemize it and we Don have a code for chocolate milk so we use the coffee code... yet they do have a k milk code she did use in my order. We're visiting and had dinner at Pepe's the other day and saw this place we decided to try it for breakfast walking in to sit and eat we found it exceptionally clean the entire staff was extremely polite and pleasant we had breakfast French toast eggs and bacon which were cooked to my specifications as with the sausage eggs and hash browns coffee was hot and everything was delicious, not too busy for a Saturday morning around 9:30am but as we sat and enjoying our breakfast (NOT a single fly disrupted my meal) it started filling up around 10:00am...We recommend this place the prices are very reasonable and affordable what I liked most about this place is that the menu is very simple...will definitely make it back before we leave town! read more

On my quest for gluttony, this is my second stop of the evening. Not as satisfied with my first stop, I remember the girl told me they serve breakfast items all day. I had stopped here once for a super large drink. So I knew I would be back. So I decided to stop here for a breakfast burrito. They had a few selections but I chose the one with bacon. I was imagining a full breakfast rolled up all in a big honkin' burrito. I got my soda first so I'm guzzling that already. When the girl handed me the made to order order, I almost had to put it right down because it was piping hot. Now, when I was trying to eat it, I was burning my mouth. I was just wondering where the hell is the salsa I saw in the picture. I got 3 packages of ketchup. What the hell? As I was getting half way through, a-ha!!! There is the salsa. Now that was like the after burner in my later meal. The salsa had a little kick to it which made this taste a hell of a lot better. (note to self: need to get more salsa next time) Loaded with potatoes, bacon bits, it was pretty filling. I know what I need to ask for when coming here again. Not sure why we decided to come here for dinner - it was probably the extreme bacon burger that lured my brother here. The decor reminds me of an old southern restaurant. They really, really need to update the inside & make it a bit more modern. The service was whatever. "Deandra" the manager on duty I ordered with my girlfriend and asked to have no bacon and avocado on her chicken sandwich. We waited for 5-10 mins in the drive thru, no one in front of us. We got our food and came home to find out they didn't do what we asked. My girlfriend is allergic to avocado so we took it back and I asked "deandra" to have it remade and my money back for the inconvenience. She told me with an attitude we can remake it but can't give you your money back. I would have liked to see more bacon and less lettuce. Price is a little higher than most mom and pop locations that serve almost the same style of food, but the decor and optimism that this was "more fresh" given it's name - "Farm", it somehow convinced me that it was worth the price, or the fact I used their APP for $5.00 off my first purchase. I must say the best part of it was the bacon and avocado, because their bacon and avocado. The bread makes a sandwich for many and this failed unfortunately. Th butter flavor they grilled the bread with was just plain bitter working against the whole thing. Zero flavor part raw chicken. I didn't finish the half I ate and just fished out the small pieces of avocado and bacon. If I'm going to pay $15 for this I would rather pay $20 at a more expensive restaurant. They produce quality at a different level. Flavor is key. I didn't ask for fries but I'm glad. The fries were the best thing about todays visit the 4 of us agreed. Been coming to the Farmer Boys(Baldwin Park) for about a good while, and every time I step into the establishment such a lively feed from the staff feels wonderful. Depending on the time of day, I usually go for a French Toast platter. By god its magnificent not only from the taste, but how fast customer service is. I'd like to give a mention to one of the employees who was working at the time of my order. The young man named Abel who worked at the cashier, very friendly and open when I was thinking of my order. Usually in other Farmer Boys establishments the staff would give me looks to rush me faster. This time it didn't happen,small talk was made and I was left pretty happy. Majority of times people won't have time for simple conversation. Burgers 10/10, Breakfast items pretty good, and overall wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some good quality food. P.S, not to mention once you are leaving the building, you gotta ring the bell.
