Food and ambiance are good, the service however needs some work. I love tapas and this place has an amazing selection and even offers gluten free and vegan tapas options. They're also reasonably priced. However every time we come here the host isn't very welcoming or friendly and the wait staff seem scrambled or are no where to be found. The food comes out so fast you typically receive it before your drinks, and once you get the order in you don't see your waiter again until you're finished with your meal. My advice is order your second drink and ask for any extra napkins or condiments while they're taking your order or just order take out! read more

I brought my parents here so they could experience Spanish Tapas and they LOVED it! From the mocktails to the paella. They even ordered a chicken empanada to-go and argued over whether or not someone should get the whole thing. My mom was ready to bring people back just so they could enjoy the beautiful boho decor. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. I came in around 1pm and it was really nice to enjoy the space while it was quiet. That was a plus! While my parents enjoyed the food and their experience, I would say it's not the best paella and tapas I've ever had. The downside to our meal is that several flies made their way into the restaurant and we had to keep swatting them. As a result, I took away one star. Absolutely wonderful! Ordered the steak and mushroom which was so soft, melt in your mouth- I order medium rare and it was perfectly cooked. Also had the shrimp, steak and chorizo skewer and it had a wonderful green sauce with tons of flavor and a delightful bit of a kick of spice!! I must've come here on an off day. I'm embarrassed to say after many years in Vegas, this was my first visit despite the popularity. From this current experience I am in no rush to come back, but I can imagine this place being great. We came for restaurant week and opted to try the ham and cheese croquettes and artichoke toasts for dish 1, paellas for dish 2, and cheesecake and flan for dish 3. Out of all 6 dishes, our favorite was unanimously the artichoke toasts. The toast was like a little masterpiece compiled into a perfect bite or two. The sauce was to die for. Everything else went downhill from there. The croquettes were very doughy and bland. The greatest let down for us were the paellas. When made well, paellas usually get completely demolished. Not these. We got the seafood paella and the mixed (seafood and chicken) paella. Both reeked of an old fishy seafood taste. I'm sad to say the flavor was really lacking in both. Every paella I've had in my life was probably better. The meal was topped off with dessert, both of which were standard cheesecake and flan- nothing to rant and rave about. The ambiance was loud, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But just an fyi if you're here for conversation. I'm sure it's really popping when covid wasn't a thing. Speaking of which- masks are no longer required if you've been vaccinated. They go by honor system. Staff remain masked. Overall it wasn't a terrible experience but it just wasn't stellar either. We're in Vegas for vacation, and wanted to grab something small to eat. Having Celiac, I found this place listed on my gluten free app. We just showed up, and immediately were seated in the bar area. The decor is beautiful, the server was super nice. Ordered drinks and they were quick and delicious. I ordered the skewers with filet, shrimp, and sausage and they were great. My husband liked his calamari. The only thing I'd say about this restaurant, is they tried to give us someone else's salad. My husbands calamari came way later then my food. Used to be my favorite restaurant, but I doubt I'll be back after my lunch today. Waited 10 mins for the bartender, as other employees walked directly past me at the bar. Was told TWICE that the bartender would be right with me. I had to ask for bread and butter to accommodate my scallop escargot, had to ask for another cocktail, was never asked how my meal was. Only when people were ready to leave has the bartender been quick. I thought at first that it was because I Was dining solo that I was being ignored, but it seems as if it was the same for others at tables. It is such a shame that a beautiful restaurant is being ran by people who either don't want to be here or simply need more training. If I'm spending over $100 on lunch, I expect it to be at least somewhat memorable. read more

By the looks of it they are ready for anything indoors and out, cozy interior, picture windows, heaters, coolers, masks and distancing. The variety of drinks, and tapas were interest and varied for everyone. Ham Croquettes were crispy and hot. Diablo Shrimp has a good amount of salt and spice, fried calamari was tasty, and fried potatoes nice and crisp. Combo Paella was really great, good quality saffron, and moist and just cooked. My observation was that they consider incorporating the seafood into the rice earlier to flavor the mollusks and shrimp without them drying out. Service is quick and attentive as it needs to be, dropping dishes as soon as the kitchen completes them. Outdoor Seating was comfortable and cool, so it's a place for friends to gather. We had Don't Berry Be Happy mocktails that were outstanding, the bacon stuffed dates were amazing, the blackberry sorbet was great (and did not come with the almond cookie it was supposed to and I forgot to ask). The fries were awesome and so good to be made vegan. I thought the lamb chops were just "OK" but my friend loved them. This location is so much nicer than the other location and staff was super kind. This is my go-to spot for celebrations. I went recently for my grandad's birthday and Firefly did not disappoint. My favorite tapas to order are the chicken empanadas & the petite filet. Sooooo delicious - you won't regret it. Also, since it was my grandad's birthday, our server was kind enough to bring our flan with a candle and we sang to him. He was so happy! Also, that flan was incredible! Definitely give it a try if you like Flan. The only downside is we weren't sat in the dining areas because it was too full, so we were seated in a side room of sorts and didn't get to feel the ambiance of the restaurant. Which ended up ok because the restaurant was so loud. I'd recommend coming before or after the dinner rush. All in all, I give Firefly a 10/10. This is my favorite restaurant in all of vegas. I just realized I've never written a review so here it is. Every time I come, I order paella of course and since that takes awhile to cook, I order tapas while we wait. My favorite tapas are the bacon wrapped dates, crab cakes, all the shrimp ones and the artichoke bruschetta. I don't think it's actually bruschetta but I can't think of the name right now. (I've been here countless times and think I've tried the entire menu) For drinks, I always order the blood orange mojito. I've also tried their sangria which is good and other mojito flavors. Delicious. I just really love the vibes this restaurant has in this specific location. It's great for date nights and girls nights. We came here after our elopement! I was so glad they were able to accommodate a party of 15 on short notice. The restaurant itself is large and loud , but the mood is sexy. So it's been awhile since we've been to Firefly and since company was in town, we decided to go. Reservations are easy to get online, there's also ample parking out back. We were seated right on time and then.....nothing. Ofcourse every establishment is short handed but there were many servers around. We were brought water after the first few minutes but after 15 min of no server checking in with us, I got a bit irritated. I will say though, once our server did get to us and took our orders, the food came out fast. It's all tapas style, take your time. Visiting Vegas and a friend who was a local took me to firefly and it did not disappoint!! There is a parking lot and it was pretty close to the hotels on the strip. The atmosphere is super pretty and the staff was very friendly upon arrival. We shared a bunch of the tapas and then got some of our own to eat. They have something for everyone! Lots of veggie options but also meat and seafood too. The complimentary bread served at the beginning with some sort of flavored butter was mouth watering. And to top it all of the sangria was amazing- will definitely have to come back when I go to Vegas next. read more

Once you get past the rude hostess the food and service are great. Ive been going here for about 10 years and recently went to the new location. I took my friends from out of town and they loved it so much they couldnt wait to come back. Checked in for our reso and she kept saying 10 mins, 15 mins, 5 mins more. I stepped away and the host i was speaking with had left. I talked to another hostess, Carmen i believe and she had no idea who the other hostess was that was suppose to get us to our table so the wait started over. We waited in the bar and the bartender never even asked us for our drink order or made any eye contact. We just stood around for 10 mins and then our table was ready. They need more servers in the bar area. Im not sure who the bartenders were taking care but it wasnt the people in the immediate area. It was lacking service. No one made eye contact with us. It was unusual. I called back the following day to send 4 more friends there and Carmen picked up and abruptly said "its a 3 hour wait" and then the line disconnected. She didnt offer a waitlist or a time. Just disconnected. Aside from the rude hostess the food was great as always and so was the service. read more

We were pleasantly surprised to find that they have a Happy Hour with drink specials and low priced tapas from 4-6pm! Everybody in the building was eating these bacon wrapped dates (only $7 during Happy Hour) but my favorite thing we ordered was the Escargot Scallops (cooked with lots of garlic butter like escargots, but they're scallops, not snails) and the Artichoke Toast, which is also garlicky! (Do you see a theme here with my flavor palette?) Firefly has a really good service and nice looking ambiance inside the restaurant, and I wanted to take pics of the bookshelf to the right of the hostess station, but didn't have time. read more

NUT ALLERGY ALERT! The amazing delicious butter (that served with the bread) has almonds in it! (chili, honey, almonds..?) just an F.Y.I. Service from the moment we walked in was on point. There was obviously a wait on a Saturday night, we opted to skip the wait and sit on the bar tops. Luis* (I think was his name, the receipt said South) was attentive and made some awesome cocktails and recommendations. Cocktails: Carajillo dream: liquor 43, espresso, espresso cocoa foam. Rosita gin & tonic: gin, lychee, strawberry, & raspberry infused gin, rose petals, grapefruit juice & tonic water. NOT too sweet. Many PESCATARIAN OPTIONS!!! Also, some item can be made vegan upon request!! We ordered a bunch of seafood tapas and they were all delicious! Scallops "escargot" served in an escargot dish baked in garlic and herb butter sauce. Camarones al Ajillo was cooked in a garlic lemon butter. The crispy garlic made it extra tasty. Grilled octopus asado came with lemon, crispy potato and paprika vinaigrette Baked Goat Cheese was garlicky served with tomato/pesto sauce. Firefly used to be our favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. They have moved to a new location and evidently changed chefs too. My wife has high blood pressure and cannot tolerate salty food. We asked our waiter to please ask for as little salt as possible, but the food was very very salty. We asked two more times as the plates came out, but there was no improvement and finally the manager told us that all the food is pre-seasoned and cannot be adjusted. It was too salty even for me, and we just had to give up. The ambiance in the new location is nice, if not quite as special as the old location. I don't think we will be able to return though. read more
